  • LORL (Laughed out really loud)

  • Too funny

  • Great video! I especially loved the great shot of the concrete floor.

    ;-)

  • Hilarious.

  • This might be your least viewed video and I'm pretty sure it's my favorite! I love to sand stuff and make is shiny but the camera work on this is why I love it. If I can figure out how to get the majority of the stuff I've filmed of me doing projects you'll see what I'm talking about. It would be a huge honor if you'd subscribe to my channel so you could see the videos I up load, in a year or so.. The learning curve is just a bear for me with this camera stuff.

  • shotout to IL!!

  • Dude - and I mean this in the most complimentary fashion - I hereby dub you King Doofus. You're a riot, man. I've just gotten into woodwork in the last three or four months, and have really enjoyed your videos. Just picked up some walnut and maple and will start tomorrow building your chess board - this'll be my first attempt at a "quality" piece (more expensive wood and more in depth finishing). Love what you're doing and the "style" you do it in...Doofus.

  • Nice! Thanks for the tips.

  • i am previlage to watch your video sir i have some question to you my problem is, how i cut a wood in 90 deg. every time i cut the flywood always not in squre but i use a L - square but the same have a error, i use a circular saw. can you give me a simple tips, how i cut the flywood in nice way, and

  • 1:35

i coudnt stop laughing! what happened with the 'steady' camera? <:)

  • You were probably planning to talk about sanding with the grain in your next video. The tripod work was exceptional!

  • lol This is great! Beautifully done Steve!

  • I like the hand-held camera...

When I took an auto body class back in high school, we went up to 1000 grit lol.

Also, I was told the number corresponds to how much sanding material was in a 1" square of the paper, so if you had 1 grit sandpaper, it was a bunch of 1" rocks, and with 220, you had 220 sand particles in the 1" area.

  • Wait until you start turning pens on a lathe. Then you'll want to sand much higher than 220 grit. A wooden pen will need to go to at least 600 grit before finishing. Acrylic pens? Two words for you: Micro Mesh. =)

  • It was ok but it's better when you hold the camera it very boring when all you see is half ur body a your workbench

  • LOL LOL

  • Hilarious - had to watch it twice! go back to your old style. You should check out Suvivorman, Canadian Bear Grhyles(sp?). He shoots exactly the way you do and he rigged something up for steadiness. Love your videos as always!

  • What about steel wool then cheese cloth.

then wetting down the wood to raise the grain.

  • OCD sandpaper style like me.

the panning down shot was hilarious.

  • Nice steady camera work... I didn't throw up once this time!! LoL

You have such a natural persona in front of the camera. Love your sense of humour, keep up the great work!

  • Make a wooden tripod....

  • looool, you're the best man!

  • U save all of the scraps so do I haha. I use them till they cant make any dust haha. Great vid man!

  • I like your vids chief. Your chess board project was the first of your vids that I watched, and I did watch them all. I may apply some of the techniques to a Parcheesi board. Are you going to do a series on turning chess pieces?

  • Ah ah ah ... *****

  • were are you head in the first minutes and you makeme laught a lot when the cam moves down.

  • Hahaha couldn't follow the information as well, but dude, what a laugh = D

  • hahahaha. nice. Please dont do this again... but good for a laugh.
