You can get the Roadking with or without on-board controls. Mine has a pickup, but no controls. Tacoma no longer manufactures guitars, so you'll be hard-pressed to find a new one.
I have a pre fender Tacom Road King RM6 I just posted for sale. It has the L.R. Baggs active pickups that has controls. It's like this one. From what I've been able to find out, it's very hard to find a Road King that isn't a cutaway.
Is he using a pick? How does he strum like this?

Damn, I wish I found a Roadking.
The guitar I have is a Crafter Semi (a good guitar)
but the fretwork is worn. So I'm looking for a new guitar. The Takoma's sound good.
The only problem is, that I'm living in Holland.
Hard to find a Roadking here.
