I can't take my natural hair anymore been doing weaves, but I worry if I go back to a perm my hair may not get long how I want it..then still be stuck doing weaves lol
@daniellebembo Honey....who are you trying to convince? Me or yourself? Do you think this was my first relaxer? It wasn't..it was just the first after 4 years of being natural. I am well versed in chemical treatments and am perfectly happy with my relaxer, color and BKT. Sorry relaxers didn't work for you but they've been good to me :) No breakage, no split ends, styling time is cut in half, more versatility...why the hell would I want to go back to natural? But thanks for your response.
@daniellebembo Honey, please speak on what you know. My hair is triple processed and it STILL is not damaged and STILL hangs halfway down my back...and this video is from a year ago. I know not to use relaxers and BKT on hair that has been exposed to certain chemicals such as henna. Non sulfate products and protein treatments are required if you want your hair to grow long without splitting. Trust, everything I do is a GREAT look for me. Thanks for watching :)
@keedaomen Thanks doll! Yes, I love it! My hair was natural (as you see in the 1st video) for 4 years. It was beautiful but VERY difficult to maintain, especially in the summer heat. Thanks to good hair care, I have been relaxed for a year and my hair is still strong! Thanks for watching!
i thought the bkt was an alternative to relaxers. you did all this on the same day? your not scared you'll cause damage? does this keratin line have formaldehyde? just wondering......... good luck and heres to healthy hair whether relaxed or natural.
@fanatic709 Hello Doll! Yes the BKT "can be" an alternative for those who do not want a relaxer. The formaldehyde in the BKT is what gets your hair straight. Other BKT products have replaced formaldehyde with a similar substance that has proven less effective. The good thing is, as long as you use sulfate free products, the BKT can last in your hair for up to 3 months on natural hair and 6 months on relaxed hair. The affirm and BKT have my hair Asian girl straight now lol! :)
@MzChuZLuvR thanx for a reply & answering my questions. i was very curious bc i keep hearing about the btk. do u have a update vid w/ current reg. & length check etc?hhj!
How does your hair looke after shower? Is it straight without blowdryin, flatironing and wraping? How is your sisters hair? Is soft and wavy or still very curly? I have natural fine 3c hair and I´m thinking of trying bkt soon.
@AMIRA789456 My hair is straight when wet or dry now. I can wrap it while it is wet and it will be straight and dry in the morning. Even if I let it air dry, it dries straight. I can skip the blow dryer and get it air dry but I always flat iron it once a week or every 2 weeks to lock in the moisturizers I put in my hair. My sisters hair has always been EXTREMELY curly...very tight curls and she experienced a lot of shrinkage when wet., The BKT has dramatically loosened her curl pattern!
@darrenh610 The BKT takes well on natural overly curly hair (like my sisters) but if you desire REALLY straight hair (like I do) then it's best to relax and BKT... since I double processed my hair it has been perfectly straight. I just wrap it at night. I don't think I will ever go back to natural :)
Very nice. How do you like the affirm fiberguard? I just relaxed after 2 yrs with alter ego linange relaxer and have a lot of shedding and breakage....Underprocessed. I use to use the reg affirm and never had any probelm.
@darrenh610 Affirm is the only relaxer I have used in my hair in the past 13 years. When applied properly there is nothing like it! If your hair is under processed, you should do the Aphogee 2 Step Protein Treatment followed by the balancing moisturizer a week before you relax again. DO this every six weeks until your hair is restored. I will do a video on this process soon.
@MzChuZLuvR Ok...I don't like aphogee at all. I was going to buy the affirm 5 in 1 and use that a week before i relax. I will buy the entire line of fiberguard too. I was trying to be a heat trained natural and it was not working. Thanks again and love your hair.
@darrenh610 I have found a protein treatment that puts APHOGEE to shame. It is called Frederic Fekkai Protein Rx Reparative Treatment Mask, With Soy and Milk Proteins 5.5 oz. You can get it on Amazon for $30. It works magic and you don't need to follow-up with a balancing moisturizer. :) Let me know if you like it!
Your choice of music is fab, who's playing yo? (lol)

I don't blame you for relaxing it I wish I never went natural and cut all my hair off last year.. I could have waist length hair by now for sure!!
