man i am about to buy a ps2 and get this game again just to play some blitzball again. i quit playing the main storyline and just concentrated on blitzball. i got pretty damn good. i dont remember the names of all my skill shots but i know i had like a great sleeper shot, where it put the player that blocks it to sleep and the crazy jecht shot it shows here. i would put the entire team to sleep including the goalie and hit em with the jecht. that shit is classic

yeah hahah i have a strategy where i get brother to distract all the opponents and they all chase after me. They follow him all the way to the corner of the sphere, and brother manages to get away from all of them and pass it to tidus and wakka near the opponent's goal, which is completely open. On average the score is 0-8, and my most ive gotten is 0-13. Brother gets around 60xp per half lol

besaid aurochs are fuckin weak bro lol. Tidus and Wakka for attackers, Eigar or Wrappa for midfield(both have INSANE stats when grown, even better than Tidus!), Duren or Jumal for Goalkeeper and it doesnt even matter who your defenders are lol. I have Nuhv Ronso with sleep attack X and Ode Guado with sleep attack X. I just keep Tidus and Wakka because of their storyline importance and Tidus because of jecht special 1&2, from the stats alone theyre better players really(like Eigar or Wrappa)

Sometimes my guys attack is 18 and it takes out 20 en. It is the same for shots cause one time my goalies CA was 18 but then a 16 Sh went through. Guess it's just random

It works on a 50%-150% basis. So a shot of 10 can actually be anywhere from 5 to 15, likewise the catch can be anywhere from 5 to 15 ;) All other stats work in the same way.

It will go down based on your Shot. Between 0-5 it goes down 1 per second, 6-10 its 2 and increases every 5 shot increase. (I believe that's what it is, can't remember for sure to be honest :o). But you can lower the amount of shot (and pass) that is left by using Golden Hand (or something like that).

Just get Tidus's Jecht Shot, get in close to the goal with maximum two defenders, then use Jecht shot. It gets rid of two defenders and then shoots. After you've scored, just get the ball and pass between your defenders DO NOT TRY TO SHOOT. Passing will increase your experience whilst making sure you win due to the one goal. Also be sure the game controls is set to manual as opposed to auto to make things easier.

At the end of the day, it gives more AP, and it's pretty much a guarantee when it comes to scoring.

To get Wakka you need to get onto the Airship, when your there you can recruit him. This is the only place where you can recruit him.

Don't listen to him, that's a lie. Once you have control of the airship, and you can go to Besaid or Kilika, you need to head to Kilika and take the boat back to Luca. On this boat you'll find a blitzball on the deck, go upto it and press X to start the minigame sort of thing again. pass it and you'll get the move ;)

Auroch Spirit and Jecht Shot 2, you win from games.

Invisible Shot you learn when other players use it.

Just as the opponent lets go of the ball, press X and you will learn it. Remember you have about 1 second to press it (just as they let go of the ball) Not before, not after. In order of shots, Jecht Shot 2 was the first, Jecht Shot was the second, Auroch's Spirit was the third, Invisible Shot was the fourth and Sphere Shot was the fifth.

The Jecht Shots are Tidus exclusive and Auroch's Spirit is Wakka exclusive. Auroch's Spirit adds 10 to Wakka's shot (I think) and adds on the shot of every original Auroch that is still on your team.
