====✈ Cancer is a disease, a chronic metabolic disease akin to other chronic metabolic diseases such as scurvy, night blindness, pellagra & pernicious anemia. No such disease has ever been cured through mechanical manipulation of the body. Where cancer is seated isn't relevant to its cure. The preventative, cure & treatment of this vitamin-deficiency disease is Amygdalin (vitamin B17). People who get at least 100 m.g. of B17 daily cannot contract cancer.
Excellent, this is exactly what I had done. For me it was completely painless, just a little uncomfortable getting into position on the table, Mine was done 11/16 and I will have a lumpectomy on 12/8/11. As mentioned no lump was felt. All was discovered during my mammography, the re-take, and ultimately the Stereotactic Biopsy. Good confirmation to having a mammography done EVERY YEAR. I am 70 years old and have had it done yearly since I was in my late 30's.
I just had this done and was not numb AT ALL! It was the worst pain ever!!! I am not trying to scare any one but I would just make sure that your Dr. numbs the area. The nurse kept telling the Dr that I could feel it but it was like he didn't care. He just kept on. I have been diagnosed with Atypical Hyperplasia and am seeing a surgeon on Thursday. I hope the wire-guided biopsy isn't as painful! (fingers crossed)
I will just add to the comments below. I had this procedure yesterday as well and the most uncomfortable part of the experience was having to lay so still for so long. I'm also very claustrophobic, so I had a bit of extra anxiety being secured down in this position. Your neck will likely be sore from laying in a certain position for so long, but it's bearable. Good luck if you're having this done.
I had this procedure done yesterday and will get the results on Monday. Was not any worse than some major dental work but I was freezing throughtout it that they put two warming blankets on me. I was still shaking when they took me to have another mammogram done after the procedure to make sure they got the right area.
The procedure itself doesn't hurt but the anesthectic will cause minimal pain and wears off in about a minute. The tugging and pulling while drawing samples might cause discomfort as in my own personal experience. Bear in mind, you MUST keep still during the whole procedure.
Not sure if I am glad or sad that I watched this. Having the procedure done this coming Friday. Wish they would sedate me ! Thanks for all the comments, they have made it easier I think...:)
Glad I found this. I'm scheduled for this procedure this coming week. It was all explained to me in the doctors office at my initial consultation but seeing it is even better. I don't like surprises and this has eased my mind as to what to expect.
Just had mine done this morning, and I had myself totally freaked out. I probably should have watched first as I made up all sorts of stuff in my mind. The xylocane was like a tiny bee sting, if that, and the whole procedure hardly hurt at all - I'm sore now, & will keep an ice pack on for 24 hours. The worst part was the stiff neck from laying on the table. I imagined I was laying on a nice, warm beach! Good luck everyone! I hope we're all fine!
@arnold02000 It did :) I had to progress further and get a wire-guided biopsy and was diagnosed with Atypical Lobular Hyperplasia. I'm on Tamoxifen for five years. Out of everything done to me, NOTHING was unbearable.
I had this procedure done today, and it was not bad at all. I'm so glad I didn't watch this video first though because the needle is pretty big, and that would have freaked me out. I had it done at 9:00 a.m. and it is now 5:00 p.m. I am not having much pain at all, I have not needed Tylenol, just the ice pack once every couple of hours. Now I have to wait for the results, about 2 days. Wish me luck!
I'm having this done next week. I'm glad I read your comment before watching; I have decided not to watch it since you said you were relieved that you didn't see it BEFORE going. Also, glad to hear the comments that it doesn't hurt much. I have been very stressed about it. I'm feeling much better now. I hope everyone that has commented had good results.
i just had this proceedure done. it was nothing to it. when they deaden the area before they started, i didnt really feel it. the most uncomfortable part was lying on the laying on the table, the rest is nothing. i think the proceedure it self was probly all about 15-20 minutes. what tkes so long is getting ready for it. i was told to take tylenol for pain and i had it done aroun 945 this am and i was on my way home by 10:30. its nothing trust me its looks scary but it not that bad at all
