OMG!!!! THEY ARE LIVING WHAT ONCE WAS THE AMERICAN DREAM!!!!!! IT SEEMS LIKE THE AIR BLOWED THAT WONDERFUL DREAM TO CHINA THAT ONCE I LIVED!!!! IM SAD BECAUSE IM STILL REMEMERING WHEN I WAS IN THAT DREAM!!!
I wonder when will the chinese economy bust lets focus on whats bad in the chinese economy.I wont ti hear when an inflation ora bust will happen in china.
China has more then 4 times the population of the u.s which means that when the average chinese earn 1/4 of what the average american does, china will be the biggest economy in the world.
When you phrase it like that you realize its inevitable.
Sure chinas growth will slow down just like japan, korea and the others did, but not untill they reach 70-80% of the income we have in the west, by that time there economy will be 3 times bigger then the us...
@abarzilai664 "Does anyone remember the prediction that Japan would surpass the United States?" Japan has less then half the population of the u.s, china has more then 4 times the population..
When the average chinese earn 1/4 of what the average american does they will have the biggest economy in he world. So the real question to ask is when will the average chinese earn 1/4 of what people earn in the west ? Once you phrase it like that you realize its inevitable.
American greed fuels China's prosperity, cheap labor, substandard products, and a rapidly growing trade deficit will ultimately put china ahead of the United States in the world economy. And America will only have itself to blame!!
Also fun quote at the end: "In the next 5 years the Chinese will spend over $14.5 billion in luxury goods." Did AP bother to do their math at all? Do they not realize that that is only $10 per person over 5 years?
I find it interesting that amongst all of this praise for China, the media seems to have completely forgotten that most of the Chinese still live in severe poverty. This years long boom has made only a small number of people wealthy, and now that the boom is slowing, most of China might not see another chance for first world wealth in years to come.
@Erverino The gap between the rich and poor is definitely significant in China, but I've noticed that in places like Beijing and Shanghai, the people are becomer richer. I think the other provinces would follow, since most of the Chinese heartland is located near the Southern parts anyways, and that is the most productive, fertile area in China.
Anyway it is amusing to watch the assent of China which will inevitably become the world's largest economy. It only makes since because they have a billion more people than the United States.
It is also amusing because everyone is assuming that the Chinese economy is just going continue to grow and grow without any problems. It's funny how many envy China now. I ti will not always be the case.
This angers me. Sure they have slave labour, how can we compete? In the end it won't work out for them neither. I see a lot of the same symptoms occurring there now as well. But we won't ever learn. I personally think it's all cyclical, the problems will arise again.
@tradernorton05 The only way to not buy Chinese products is to make your shit. Otherwise it is next to impossible to be even the most conscientious consumer and avoid all Chinese products. The thanks for that goes for the US government, corporations and all the lobbyist who have made it that way.
Forget bout the dumfucks who buy Chinese product, the American govt itself took trillions on loan from China to re-boom due to the recession whch has fuckd up the American Economy.. And as the title of this video says.. ' what recession ?? China has money to burn '
How can China possibly be economically trailing America. America is in debt to China to the tune of a Trillion dollars, maybe more. America's owes everybody else. The Republican Bush&Dick Big Banks broke the American economy. The Republican Bush&Dick Big Banks steal Trillions, hoard Trillions, won't create new jobs, won't loan to new businesses. 30Million unemployed, 10Million part time employed, 20Million underemployed, 20Million stopped looking. Obama didn't Break Up the BigBanks. Why Obama Y?
China has more than enough US bank notes not only to burn, but also for the hot ladies to wipe their pussies in public toilets.
