I've had two different types of kriek veer, one had a strong cherry flavour but the other was more subtle and less sweet. I preferred the more subtle one. At first I didn't like it much but when I got used to it I really liked it.
Everybody and their granny does drink reviews, lol. If your interested in beer reviews albnorhyno does some fantastic ones, hes Canadian too so you might get to know some local brews.
I like that glass, the shapes good for getting a nose. I take it your not one for macro lagers lol.
That one looks like something I'd definitely give a try. Strong cherry flavor is a nice thing for me, being a smoker and working in the motorpool for years didn't do anything good for my sense of taste :) the sharper the better.
@MaximumRD English and Dutch/Flemish spelling is so incredibly different that it is tough to do so but you'll be able to pull off the pronunciation. This beer always reminds me a little of the Hero Cassis soda, quite a different fruit and not an alcoholic beverage but it has the same mouth-feel and round taste.
Nice review, definitely, do more. It's always nice to try different drinks from around the world.
Every time I go to the casino, cripple creek I have four budweisers because it makes the long bus ride home more bearable. Especially on a Saturday night when you get really happy couple on board.
@randygelion I appreciate that but if you check my past videos I have done a few but I will be honest if anything Beer reviews will be less and less and that is all there is to it, they are an exception these days due to my circumstances but under the right circumstances if I have a new Beer it will be posted.
@sin1987runescape I have to be honest, I do not consider any my favorite, I like very much Red Wines that are very strong and flavorful and as I mentioned my Beers I like bold and strong flavors. I can say there are many I do not like, I do not like light beers at all. I do not like BUDWEISER, COORS etc, That is not to say though if I am offered and there is nothing else I would refuse lol! I do not drink many White wines but when I do I prefer the ones with a lot of flavor and character.
Very nice. I like Lambics a lot. Lindemans Framboise is the best thing ever to come out of Belgium.

Echt Kriekenbier = real Cherry Beer (Dutch/Flemish)
The ch needs to be a guttural sound like the Spanish J then you pronounce it correctly
Kriek is a type of cherry not fit for unprepared consumption but gives a nice taste to many dishes and of course beers!
It is a very nice sweet tasting beer, excellent for summer days on the beach.
