  • she said crap at 7:45

  • I love this game, but it's really hard. That's my only complaint, even though it is an old game. The difficulty actually makes it more fun to play.By the way what's the hardest game you've ever played? For me,it would have to be Contra 3:the Alien Wars. That game is HARD AS HELL!So many enemies show up screen at one time.It gets crazy.

  • I love this game.

  • Your voice is really sweet XD

  • wow shes pretty, i used to love missile command too heh heh

  • Great Video but, Remember Chrono Trigger 'But the Future Refused to Change'

With lavos screaming and the world fading gray.

Now that scared the shit out of me. And if you look real hard you can see a face creepy.

  • Wow!!! This is a real female gamer!!!!!! I wanna play games with you!!

    Greay show!

  • i am in love with lil miss gamer

  • are you a hipster.

  • I always found little miss gamer cute :D She's got a cute voice too!

  • Are those bottles of Blue Moon Belgian White Ale? Seems like every gamer is a hophead (or malthead if you like stuff like McEwan's Scotch Ale). John Connor played Missile Command in T2. Ironic foreshadowing is ironic. We had more moral clarity during the Cold War. And now we're engaged in a cold war with China and Western businesses and politicians willingly collaborate with them! That reminds me, in the remake of Red Dawn, according to what I've read, the enemy is going to be China.

  • shes kinda hot :P darn traumatizing games!!!

  • fail...

  • playing a atari 2600 game for 20 years stright thats SAD but it was fake so hey

  • Aren't you people tired of hearing lines from spiderman!!!With great power................Again!I Like gals!I have no intention of being mean to em' anyways!

  • lindsey gamer

  • I saw this in my recommendations. At first I thought it was going to be someone reviewing some crappy new game. But you comepletely proved me wrong in this video. It was a very nice review of an amazing game. :)

  • Dear yellowsquidnow from boston .... just talk more shit ... eventually you can win (PS. be creative ^_^)

  • fuck this all shit, sega, atari and all the cram, the Sony is the LAW!!!!!

  • so white and nerdy.. still boneable

  • Play the arcade version...best game ever.

  • You're adorable.

  • I think the whole thing about Missile Command not ending was a stab at the Cold War.

  • lol, good review for a human.

I did a review of this game a couple of days back.

  • Someone's probably mentioned this already, but 'Missile Command' (arcade) was featured in T2. Interesting that it's the US versus Russia because John Connor mentions that later on. "Why attack Russia? Aren't they our friends now?" That reminds me, I need to do a video about how 'Invasion of the Body Snatchers' was a political allegory of communism. James Rolfe mentioned that but he said that he didn't get the connection. Something like that requires an INTJ/Randian perspective.

  • the video is great but its still no supplement of ultraneko

  • @lylab1999 Ultraneko is dead, she sin't even a gamer anymore! To hell with her... and her... Hilarious videos... *eyes well up*... WHY DID YOU FORSAKE US ULTRANEKO??? WHY???

  • I like the subtle Harry Potter graphic on your t-shirt.

  • I think they made a version for the NES too. I never got into Atari, By the time we had money for a system NES was already out.

  • Marry me lil miss gamer

  • This is more entertaining than the movie Gamer

  • male gamers who are mean to girl gamers online r dushes

  • ya im always nice too girl gamers

  • and the winner for the most undeserved douche bag reply goes to.....xxhangingxx!!!! congrats!! your a total ass for no reason whats so ever!!! enjoy your life of no friends and eternal virginity....douche

  • It's the pussy power xD

  • @progamersx2 I think you mean douches but yeah I know what you mean :D

  • @progamersx2

lawl faggot!!!!!!!!!! you cant even spell douche properly!!

  • @progamersx2 STFU BITCH ! I mean.....ye.. so true :S

  • @progamersx2 so then girl gamers stick them up their woo hoo to clean themselves? .....ewwww...... in that case would you like a back rub while you play some Mother 2? . . .

  • @medicwheat69 o.o

  • @medicwheat69

That mede absolutely no sense what so ever.

  • @werotus it was in a reply/response to another poster's comments and has almost nothing to do with the video itself but was a slur made to girl gamers in general and I was mocking the poster in that response...for it to make sense to you would have to find "progamersx2"'s original posting, but considering it was over 5 months ago i have neither the time or energy to find it for you .... but out of context I don't even know how to explain it any more lol

  • The very first handheld game, "Missile Attack" by Mattel Electronics, had the same effect as Atari's Missile Command in haunting players that a city was seriously destroyed in real life. When Mattel Electronics heard about that, they decided to rerelease it as "Battlestar Galactica Space Alert" with permission from Glen Larson Productions and Universal Studios, to make players easily think it was all fictional.

  • lol pause a t 03:37 and 03:53

  • Hay, girls are gammers too.

  • ur right!

    the remakes are for pussies!

  • There was a game like this on the AREA51 Site4 Arcade as a bonus game

  • i love the theme song

  • greatest vid ever! you rock!

  • Your Show is Gooooooooood!

    Saludos desde Guatemala!

  • taking a look at the game makes me wanna try out atari.

  • I want the arcade machine for Missile Command. I will buy it one day...!@

  • yah the death of a yoshi in yoshi story was pretty evil as well

  • this is my kinda chic

  • Crap, I rated this 1 star by accident! Sorry Z, I love the show!

  • Why did i never like this game? I could never sit and play this game for more then 2 minuts.

  • same here it drove me nuts

  • um, yes

    That was very scary...

  • Lol, Im guessing the gamerover sequence is comparable to Donkey Kong Country.

  • That game seems...bleak.

  • well, its an atari game...don;t expect much. its the gameplay that matters

  • I love playing the 8-bit version with the official Atari trackball.

  • I think I have this on a reproduction version on the Atari flashback. Its pretty good...

  • just found her channel and the room is like Captain S

  • lol at 10:22

  • HA Ha good video, i lovd this game. however my atari had missile command built in maybe it was an older version. wen u lost u had to wait while the whole screen got covered in explosions, i never thought about it until i saw ure vid, but ure right it was a palm-sweatingly intense game.

  • ya know she is the nicest game reviwer ive ever seen on the internet. I wonder if there would be an episode were she meets the AVGN that would be funny

  • I THOUGHT I saw you on TGWTG XD

  • The first time I encountered "Missile Command", it was the official coin-op version with the track ball and the 3 buttons controlling the missile silos.(You had to choose which silos to use to send the intervening missiles.) That was the also the first game that had the nerve to ask for $.50 per play... yep *two* quarters...lol. It took a while before the market was saturated with enough machines of the kind before it kindly went into the usual asking price of one quarter per play.

  • 1:13 cute feet lol joke hehehe nice vid i love the OP *__* that game is hell u_u

  • I played this game on the Atari for the first time today. It was hard as crap for me.

  • I remember playing Missile Command, too bad I was 6. =P

  • I could understand how this game could freak you out (like you said, in the arcade it was U.S.A. vs Russia in a nucular war). I remember seeing "Red Dawn" when I was just a boy and that kind of freaked me out. After seeing it, I was worried in the days and weeks to follow that we would be invaded by the Russians!

  • huh that couch looks like the one from captain S but just looks different design and colors

  • Has anyone played the Playstation and Game Boy versions? I played the Game Boy version myself.

  • i played the gb version. it was a good port.

  • You know there's a collection on The Sega Genesis with Pong, Centapite, And Missle Command, And Missle Command had the same SFX as The Atari.

After Little Miss Gamer said The Game freaked her out, I though 2 Things,

    1. I don't see how losing the game could freak you out, Then again your a 1st Generation Gamer Growing up with The Atari, And that Nuke is flashy, I could see what you mean.

    2. This made me want to play as the bad guy, Destroy everything in your path, Or is that just me? XD

  • Were the first 1:37 minutes true?

  • No I don't think you're kidding about that Atari Plug n PLay thing because I actually own one! ;D but still Cenitpede even on a rip-off plug n play is still fun as hell.

  • wow ive never thought of such a simple game like that so complexly

  • Cause it's not.

  • I figured krytools would tell her "all your bases are belong to us"

  • why cant i stop laughing when she reads the letter from krytools?

  • she's got a cute little voice

  • a girl who likes video games? Unheard of lol I seem to find all the one's who are girly. Pity she's a yank.

  • ^^ cute very cute

  • ah you forget about Jason's: yout dead, your friends are dead, and its all your fight

  • xbla remake was pretty cool i thought. great review tho. nice.

  • I suspect that the inability to win was partly technology, partly the game's moral.

I suspect the moral of the game was the same as that of the movie 'wargames', which was contemporary. In the words of one of the movie's characters:

"A strange game, professor. The only winning move is not to play."

  • No. It was because a lot of atari games just went on until you died because it about high scores. There was no moral.

    Deal with it.

  • First: Games that ended didn't come into existence for several years due to tech limitations. I am well aware of that. I build this sort of thing for a living.

Second: Just because you disagree with me doesn't give you license to be rude.

  • Cool. I had this game for my Atari when I was a kid too :)

  • You are so funny and adorable! X3

  • Remember playing a similar game on the pc has a toddler. I loved it

  • You have nice feet Z... *^_^*

  • i second that tee hee

  • I love you dammit! =)

  • I actually wasn't that scared of the game when I was a kid, but I guess I just didn't know what was going on.

Anyway, since it was an early game from the 70s or early 80s, it was basically a "how far can you go" or "how high can you get your score?" game. I agree it's a classic though.

Also, who wants to play the original game with the Wii controller? Point at the lines and hit the A button?? I think it's a cool idea.

  • yup, growing up during the cold war was a scary time.....=O

  • Thumbs up on the blue moon

  • Do I spy a Billy Hatcher poster? :3

  • u know what game freek me out as a kid rugrats in paris that was a hard game

  • holy shit! for the Game boy color? That was murder.

  • holy shit! for the Game boy color? That was murder.

  • aww shes so cute and sweet lol keep it up lmg (i think its obvious what it stands for) can u review a master system game next time please! :D

  • The girl who got harassed online, I don't think she meant insults or something like that. I would place my bests on sexual harassment, basically, horny life-less guys that sees a girl character and realizes it's actually a girl. Yeah, happens all the time. As an online-gamer, I've seen it ALOT. I've spent about 3 years playing, and it's unaviodable, if you're a girl, you're gonna get sexual harassed. Sad, but true.

  • I'e seen a few seconds of a video on this site of an XBox Live session where these guys were sexually harassing a girl playing. I was disgusted by it. When will these guys realize that women can do things just as well as men?

  • LOL if paused at 11:14

  • haha yeah!

  • You just made me realize the depth of an Atari game. Great job!

  • The plug & play was pure emulation done by anpther company. But Atari stepped in themselves, and eventually got it right with the Atari Flashback 2.

  • The Xbox Live Arcade version that LMG mentions in this review is also available on the PSP as part of Atari Classics Evolved.

  • The opening scenes as a kid are extremely familiar. Especially when you and your Mom are yelling over each other, I felt your frustration. But ultimately, they were right... it was time for Breakfast after-all lol.

  • That's interesting... Little Miss Gamer and Captain S live in the same building.

  • w-w-what?!?!?!?!!? You serious?

  • Yeah. I recognized the front of the building, along with the door and an odd fence off to the side from a Captain S video.

I suppose we shouldn't be surprised seeings how both LMG and Capt. S are both from PBC-Productions. In fact, LMG shows up in a couple Capt. S videos as the Gypsy.

  • Oh my God! The legendary Gypsy! Damm that's awsome!

  • My dream girl.

  • And I thought I was the only one who thought so...

  • Yeah keep disobeying your mom!

This game freaked me out too...

    More reviews plz...

    /S

  • I dig the Harry Potter t-shirt.

  • klkl

  • I am in <3 with LMG.

  • Again, as usual... the arcade Missle Command was much more awesome. But it gave you 3 buttons to shoot with, which made the game a lot more intense.

  • I love Missile Command on my 5200, especially with the Trakball controller - which half the time it don't work. Not bad for a 25 year old machine.

    Great review!!!
