I got the pleasure of hanging out with Rudy when he had the band the Swingers in the mid 80's and early 90's before his passing..his former bass player Ron and I are best friends and I didnt know Rudy historical value in music until his passing. He was very generous to me becuase allot of times I helped the band move equipment before and after some of their local hampton roads va performances...I miss you and love you Rudy....Willie B
@Lyricalphysicist I was in RADIO as a Personality DJ for many years and I can appreciate how you feel. I have so many regrets that I didn't have a camera and tape recorder with me 24/7. So many shows and groups slipped thru my radio life.

I had the priviledge of shaking Rudy West's hand at a concert in Florida about one year before his death
