Maybe you never gonna read my comment, but I loved Sonata with you, and it's hard to love it without you.

Get a band... Make a band. You are, for me and many other guitarist, one of the best electric guitarist in the world. Some years ago, I had a dream, I wished to see Sonata arctica, but this dream faded when you had to leave the band.

Come back, you'r metal, you have great ideas (remember "My Selene" !) and a huge guitar skill.

This exercises works wonders for your pinky. I've gotten alot of strength in my pinky after practising this.

yay scales. That's the real way to play, just play your scales up and down the neck and don't come up with anything creative at all. Any 12 year old malmsteem copycat will think this is awesome. Hard to see how these guys are making instructional videos when they themselves suck.

@EpictheEpicest ust something i need to say. every solo is worked around a scale or a mixture of 2,3,4 or maybe even 5 scales. if scales arn't learnt your guitaring will be allright at best. Jani is a pheonominal guitarist, he can solo like mad, if you listen to his other stuff its very very creative. and plus in terms of mamlsten he himself is creative considerin he composes EVERYTHING you hear in his music not just the guitar parts. so erm yea.....fuck off

Just listen and find the notes..aim not that good..and i nailed it..but i played my fingers off..its quite hard technically..and i cant play as fast as he can..but eventally i can with a hell of a practise..this is not easy..but as i said listen and there you go!use this as a practise to listen and catch the notes..with ears... sorry my bad english

Probably prestige, look the pickups, there reads v7 on neck.. So probably japanese prestige, some like 5xx,6xx--1000-25xxx , dont know for sure.

Yeah it's just a prestige. I think he only has 2 LACS Ibanez's both of which have the sonata arctica logo on the 1st fret one is a custom RG and the other is a 7 string destroyer with a quilt maple top THAT I WANT SO BAD, it' for sale right now but it's like 4500 euros.

usually he uses ibanez, so this is quite likely somelike that.

The guitar Jani is using on this video is an Ibanez RG2120XTB. As for tabs you can find them on ultimate-guitar but they are in guitar pro format.
