  • OMG! I can't wait to make these this weekend! Thanks for the hilariously funny and informative video. You made this look so easy.

  • Turkey > Beef

  • made this for Thanksgiving, put too much chicken seasoning in it so it was a little thymey, but everyone loved it! thanks Chef! :D

  • oooh i like that trick with beating the egg on the side of the work bowl

  • Im turkish and i find this offensive!

  • Cutest balls ever.

  • Favourite chef to watch... I LOVE LOVE your videos :) I'm on a diet but I just watch your videos to compensate :D

  • ...I love plain turkey xD

  • I happen to like the canned "cranberry sauce". I know technically it's not a sauce at all, but I do prefer it on sandwiches w/ left over turkey or meatloaf as apposed to the "real" cranberry sauce w/ the chunks of cranberries MAINLY b/c it holds up better. It doesn't make the lovely roll soggy or the turkey/meatloaf moist to the point it's disintegrating. Stop being prejudice Chef John. Give the canned jellied "cranberry sauce" a break! lol.

  • mmmmmmh balls.... wait

  • i frigging love meat balls

  • I LOVE watching this chef... he's the best! love your jokes

  • Dinosours! :D ........hahaha! I shall try this recipe! thx !

  • i tried (pre-made) turkey meatballs just last week. surprisingly good, and so close to beef after you put them in sauce, you'll hardly taste the difference. you'll also be interested to know that i'm typing this without any pants on. good day, everyone.

  • @stooge81 what about underwear?

  • Comment removed

  • @therunescapesecrete common technique used to stop food from sticking to your hands

  • anyone who wastes their time saying first are dumb... try to be the last commenter, last commentor gets a cookie

  • This was an especially funny video, good job.

  • I've been looking for a meatball recipe and this one fits the bill! I use ground turkey all of the time. I used to get those frozen meatballs, but I think the "soy-something" ingredient doesn't agree with me. So I like this simple recipe. Now, I'm going to double the recipe, so I can use up the entire can of cranberry sauce.

  • I liked the slow mo of your cranberry jelly hitting the plate, and ribbed for her pleasure:) Looks good, gotta try this one!!

  • I love that picture of Barney and Friends at the end:)

I'm making the Tom Jefferson Mac and Cheese today!

  • could i add some minced pork without it changing flavour too much?

    (fat is flavour/moisture theory?)

  • Wish you had went ahead and done the... Cause that's how I roll joke. These looked really good.

  • 'That's how I roll,' lol

  • Ribbed for your pleasure... oh jeez.... LOL.

  • Thank u for this recipe, watched with my 4 year old daughter .... She loves meatballs.... By the way my daughter says that you crack her up.. Lol...

  • Next Thanksgiving Day I'll make roasted dinosaur for dinner.

  • looks like someone is hinting for a condom deal (ribbed for your pleasure) ^_^

  • lol most of the people that eat these are going to be pretty drunk, ah Chef John you never disappoint

  • Vindaloo?

  • "Ribbed for your pleasure" LOL

  • NOOOOOOOO I accidentally hit the dislike button =( I feel bad

  • @kev123361 facepalm, you can hit the like button and it changes... -_-

  • i ate dinosaur the other day i swear it o.o

  • have you ever tried using tofu instead of bread crumbs? my mom does that sometimes and it turns out pretty well

  • @juffurey I like using tofu in meatballs... silky soft tofu works best imho (or the softest that can be bought where you live)

  • PLEASE get on food network :( You're so funny and so good at demonstrating. You're an enjoyment to watch.

  • i ate barney's meat.

  • i nearly spat out the tea i was drinking laughing at "ribbed for your pleasure"... the touching of that as a little creepy LOL

chef john, you make my day!! xx

  • All birds are related to dinosaurs, Chef Jon!

  • LMAO... Why did I start cracking up laughing when I saw a picture of Barney!!!

  • @bayislove cos barney is so so creepy ... i reckon he hangs out with pedo bear :P

  • The Best thing apart from your brilliant cooking it, when you start your Vids with "HEEEELLLLLLLLLLOOOOOOOOOOOOOO THIS IS CHEF JOHN"... lol

  • lol "if you wanna be all Martha Steward"

  • @ashesfrombones you're stupid

  • yummy

  • No, it's turkey. It's never as good as beef.

  • Chef John smashing my childhood memories. I know I am not the only one whose momma put the can shaped cranberry jelly in a crystal dish on top of iceburg lettuce with the celery leaves hanging off the end. I know my poor white trash is showing, but I do make the good stuff also.

  • @txsphere - I really like the jellied can stuff, but I always smush it around so you don't have to look at the can shape.

  • Comment removed

  • Ooooh I'm going to have to try this in spaghetti :D Isn't turkey supposed to be leaner than beef?

  • Looks yummy.

  • As delicious as this looks I could never eat meat that is sweet all over... salty + sweet = me throwing up. If the glaze was salty than I would love it. I will make these meatballs and try some other salty sauce on them.

  • Chef John is the most hilarious and charming chef I know XD I always smile when I watch those vids.

  • Turkey cock!...tail meat, balls!

  • yum! definitely going to try these!

  • "ribbed for your pleasure!"

    hahaha.

  • @veeBUTT I KNOW RIGHT, I DIED! :))

  • Gasp... you killed Barney!?

  • yummy!

  • ribbed for your pleasure xD... nasty

  • now that i know i can't have it ... i really want it (dinosaur meat)

  • If you follow the current paleontological theory, turkeys technically ARE dinosaurs.

  • Oh yum! Looks absolutely delicious :) My new video is over meatloaf - guess we both had meat on the brain!
