UK scientists have detected a huge dome of freshwater that is developing in the western Arctic Ocean. The bulge is some 8,000 cubic km in size and has risen by about 15cm since 2002.The team thinks it may be the result of strong winds whipping up a great clockwise current in the northern polar region called the Beaufort Gyre. This would force the water together, raising sea surface height, the group tells the journal Nature Geoscience.

  • I had a dream of a tsunami last night. And others have had flooding type dreams this week as well. I'm in Maine.

  • Sounds kinda like a zit. Putting pressure on both sides of it till the pus shoots out and hits the mirror. (counldn't help myself)

  • You are an excellent teacher. Another way to understand the "recent" past is to view the art of the Middle Ages. USA had the end of the "Mini Ice Age" recorded in art during the 1700s: Washington Crossing the Delaware.

Barium is prime to Chem Trails. Did you see the commericals telling our generation (1946-1964) that we are probably infected with Hep C? Symptom: Enlarged liver...Barium. Incredible increase in spraying North - South over NJ coast since this July...Retirement Depopulation?

  • Rutgers has an ocean curent project. They have outstanding data. There was a recent Ocean County College public "contest" to photograph the coastline of Barnegat Bay, NJ. Claimed "King Tide" as the reason. King Tide was nowhere. The purpose was for gov't appointees to gather photos for real scientists to compare the rise with 20 year tide markers. Rutgers has a satellite research station here. Horta will blow & bring 6+ foot waves to East Coast of North America.

    Ocean floor will force height.

  • PLEASE advise regarding southeast florida, palm beach is where i live, we are feeling effects of carribean volcanos past week, puerto rico, leeward islands. STRANGE SURF HERE, never seen in like this before. thank you

  • Scott, I have recently been looking into what is going on in this world with the increased earthquakes and natural disasters. I have explored all of the theories that are out there. Then I came across your information simple Physics you are right that all the added weight on the ocean floor of gigatons has no choice but to sink the floor of the oceans. I would imagine that certain areas are prone to sinking further due to the geological make up. I live in phx az is this a safe place to be ?

  • Scott, thank you so much...I love your information because it makes sense to me, I don't know if that is necessarily a bonus on your end...! but I'm from the UK originally and geology was always my passion along with geography...It really is pretty amazing that the UK AND the Canaries Azores etc. have stayed afloat for this long..But what a fun and exciting time to be alive, eh? I'm Pacific NW ..not far from Musabe9..hugs and love....xox

  • Along with the tremors, the start of long cold winters in the northeast seems to be occurring. We just had a 2' snowstorm here 10/29/11.

Was wondering what effects the BP oil spill had on the Gulf Stream and if that has something to do with this, as well. There were reports there was a fault line running from near the salt dome and connecting all the way up to the Madrid fault, putting the whole country east of the Mississippi in danger. Frigid winters seemed to start after that.

  • @MsWonderful79 the ocean stalled last year from the ice melting off Greenland. I think I have have that report in a vid. I made a month before this one. called idols and ice wtbleep. if not that one it was a vid. I made around that time. the oil drilling area is Swiss cheese now from the oil pumped out, and hole drilled. USGS had a thing on it months ago. hugs LUVBUG

  • @MimiZ914 my question exactly,I'm in Ohio, not all that far from New York.

  • 10 to go before reset

  • The earth isn't ment to be stable forever so this is just another event for man to prove himself worthy to stay alive i consider it a great honor to be challenged by nature so i say embrass the change and adapt or die lol

  • At .4335 psi per foot of water column, how many feet of increase in water level does it take to deform the 700 mile thick crust of the earth?

Considering the oceans have an average depth of 2 miles an increase in the depth of water of 45 feet would only represent only a 1% increase in the weight of the column of water. Granted the seas very in depth greatly from one place to another but still your looking at an even smaller percentage increased in weight in the deepest ocean trenches.

  • Scott how will South East Pennsylvania be affected?
