A great post, this is a great song, as of yet I think he was one of the best singers in the business , bar none, David's songs told a story, and as He told the story it was as though you were held captive until it ended and left you wanting for more.

This was such a smooth track, not rough vocals like most of his songs had....so versatile.

There's a new Ruffin interview up from 1991 and Ruffin is asked about his voice and DR says I'm still not sure what kind of voice I have. I agree!
