  • Nice work my friend, I dig it!

Please check out my cover of it too, if you get a moment!

    Keep on jammin'

  • good guitar, bad guitarist

  • I have the same guitar!

  • @yoyodude4u ME TOO!

  • Is there a such thing as a Hendrix brand guitar? If not there should be.

  • @cisseusa123 The Hendrix brand guitar is called a Fender Stratocaster.

  • @Aerosmitty77 Well I meant one named specifically after him haha There IS a type of Strat named after him though. The lefty one. Pretty much a signature guitar.

  • good job man

  • hmmm fireburst or white

  • that guitar is just too sexy

  • I couldnt even image playing this good...but isnt the intro supposed to be 4 times???...

  • @BluezzDemon

    cheers mate.

Ye i started recording and missed that first part

  • @BluezzDemon

ye but i started recording too late and missed the first bit of the intro :P

  • Great cover and a beautiful studio lp :-)

  • where did u get the tabs

  • thats a beautiful guitar......

  • Any reason in particular why you picked the gold finish over the chrome or its just a matter of taste.

  • what you did man is unforgivable, strat song on les paul, what a shame!

  • Sweet lookin' LP.

  • thats one of the worst tones ive heard...and the solo killed my ears..not good at all man..

  • sounds great

  • Good Job i think :P

  • This is messed up Jimi Hendrix played on a Les Paul GIBSON u Cursed the Hendrix NAME!!!!

  • have the same guitar but with chrome hardware they are realy kickass

  • i was trying to play this at guitar center withe an epiphone les paul and ppl were suprised (im 11)

  • it should have a LOT more fuzz

  • great and cheap amp! it sounds almost like a bad big tube amp!

  • Great cover what's the mark of ur les paul??

  • @SlashMoore

Thanks. sorry i don't know what you mean by 'mark'

  • @herberj7 Well it's not your fault I haven't said the right word XDD what I meant was what it the label of your guitar cause you say in the description les paul but like...Epiphone , gibson, Art-z. You what the label??it's in the head of the guitar ;))

  • @SlashMoore

fair enough. It's a Gibson Les Paul Studio.

  • @herberj7 LOOL thanks :-)

  • @SlashMoore in the title buddy

  • @BOYthatROX yeah but three months ago it wasn't in the tittle gibson so that's why I asked ;)

  • @SlashMoore ahh i see

  • @BOYthatROX Lol yeah

  • @SlashMoore well obviously it's a gibson les paul studio sunburst. cause epiphone's les paul studio is not available in sunburst finish. besides you can see the whole guitar, it looks like a high quality instrument and you can easily see the differences between gibson and epiphone. that's a gibson!

  • @RobotFollower Actually that guitar is Fireburst.

  • @TheCurseOfMetal yeah i know. I made a mistake... :)

  • @SlashMoore It's the "brand" =P.

  • @herberj7 You meant trademark xD you talk spanish right?

  • @herberj7 he means the brand :P its a mix up in spanish

  • @SlashMoore u coulda just sed brand

  • @SlashMoore gibson

  • The Reason Jimi Hendrix Has Got The Funk When He Plays Guitar Is Because He Was High When He Always Wrote Songs!!!! DUH O_o

  • dood. is that guitar always that shiny or is that after you polished it?

  • @ChanielDang this is when it was new, its still pretty shiny though

  • @herberj7 thanks. i'm slowly gaining more and more reasons to get this guitar.

  • @herberj7 If you want your hardware to stay shiny even longer everynight gently wipe it down with a microfibre cloth and some polish or what you use to clean it. If you don't do this the hardware will fade, usually from sweat or just getting dirty and dusty. My friend had a alpine white Studio and he didn't know to do this and it started to fade, but recently he has been cleaning it and it basically hasn't showed signs of ware since. Sorry if you knew this, just thought I'd let you know anyway.

  • @scotty688

    i didn't know that

    thanks a lot

    much appreciated

  • play those G and A chords like Hendrix.

    (thumb over the neck"

  • Hi, what kind of setting were you using on the roland Cube20?

  • you should do more classsic covers, i suggest whole lotta love since zeppelin is on your shirt !:)

  • everyone is so interested in the guitar , great playing,i just think you could spiced up the solo a bit

  • ye i agree but i was just making it up on the spot. thanks for the comment

  • its all good, btw i did the band thing , it fixed my timing so much, im currently trying to under stand more to all the styles thanks for the advice about the band:Dfor names its either infected monkeys or whitetrash

    :P

  • haha good band names. im glad my advise helped. keep up your desire to learn different styles and carry on making originals to improve your understanding of music from all aspects and to gain a better musical relationship with your band members and other youth bands.

I will try and upload a classic cover (if it sounds good enough :P)

  • lol, funk is what im learning now actually , timing is insane, you shhould try to record same way you sis here, or try recording into the comp?

  • are you greek? eic ellhnas?

  • no born in new jersey my dad is morm macedonia yogoslavisa as he likes to call it,

  • What's your opinion on the cube 20?

  • The cube 20 is a great easy to use amp.

It's got several different distortions/ sounds.

It also comes with delay and reverb and can be mixed with a couple cool effects such as phaser, chorus, flanger and tremelo.

For it's price it's got everything and it saves you money on buying things such as pedals.

It's also loud enough for a small gig, and can keep up with acoustic drums.

  • What about the clean channel? I heard it's great. I also really like the idea of an acoustic simulator. (As you might guess i'm not a metal head) What's your opinion on these two features?

  • Yes both the clean and the acoustic effect are very good. For the price and 'easiness' of all it's features its a great amp.

  • which pickups r better

    490r,t or burstbuckers

  • @neoguri1996 well burstbuckers are nice but there better for really high insane channels as were thr 490r's can squeal like a pig very nice classic rock and heavy marshall tones

  • I just got a gibson les paul studio in worn cherry

  • i have that same guitar, an 08 model. the thing is a beast, my fav tone out of that guitar is cranked volume, medium gain, and treble pickup. its great cause the treble pup gives a ton of bite while the mahagony body gives a deep warm tone

  • I was looking at buying one of these, does anyone know for about how much these go for?

  • i think a wahwah for your impro' solo will be perfect =)

  • Great tone, your improvising could use a little work, but hey, this was a long time ago, so you've probably gotten much better.

  • Great job, I love how u improvised

  • yes we all already know that

  • awesome guitar

  • what distotion do you use?

  • i used the 'tube drive' distortion and a bit of reverb from my Roland cube 20X

  • nice playing man. hey is this guitar a good buy?

  • it's a great buy, no problems, get comments all the time about it and it's got that sweet Gibson tone.

also it's a guitar that will last a long time and there are many different varieties of colour to choose from.

  • thankyou for the reply now i wont have to bust myself to get the standard,

And this is the last thing i ask.

im at a point where i just dont know what to learn, i feel like i might be missing out or learning the wrong things.

do you have a practice schedule or routine that should be followed?

  • no i don't, also i don't have a guitar teacher, unless you want to learn music theory etc. then get a guitar teacher.

my best advise is to play along to backing tracks, listen to songs extensively, and most importantly JAM/PLAY/START/ a band. it has helped me so much with staying in time with the drums, experimenting with music, working out riffs, chords etc. that fit with diff parts or a song.

    hope this helps.

  • thanks, id say im an intermediate player, ive been playing for 1 year and a half , id say i have fair amount of alot of knowledge, but my music teacher stressed that learning music would improve you alot.

but your learning method seems to have

    worked your a good player.

well ill try to improve in all aspects

thanks man, oh and im either going to get the studio or save up alot for the standard

  • hey i have the same guitar gibson fire burst les paul studio with 490t and 489r pickups when i turn it up on my amp its has a horrible feedback just wondering if theres anything i can do

  • its missing teh POWA! also your playing the intro chords wrong.

its 6 on E open A and 8 on D its the chord at the beginning when he upstrokes, downstrokes.

  • why dont u go make ur own fucking cover of purple haze that doesnt suck an then tell him hes playing it wrong asshole!!

  • nice cover but it would be better if you cut back the distortion on the intro

  • I am thinking about getting one of these guitars. they look awsome how do they sound.

  • got one yesterday. very good for classic rock crunch, metal, death meta,l trash whatever metal you play. blues, jazz they can do anything, seriously they are incredible i got the fireburst . i cant fault it!

  • i think they sound very good, depends on the amp aswell.

i think the best thing for u to do it to go and try the guitar out at a guitar shop. try it with a couple of amps n effects, distortion ect.

  • ur not fretting with your right hand

  • i no

  • Comment removed

  • Nice playing man, but ur not a lefty...

  • thnx. wat u mean lefty?

  • He was making a joke about you not being left handed like Jimi. I think.

    If not then he's troubled.

  • ooooooooooooooooooooo. now that makes more sense :D

  • hey no offense but it sounded like an epiphone

  • lol, thnxs, um i recorded it with a logitech mic that i would use for skype. and i record it through Audacity. hope that helps:D

  • thanks man =)

but how much did all that cost?

because id rather save my money for say.. a new guitar instead of buying an expensive ass way of putting up you tube videos

    lol

  • Well i recorded it with a video camera for the visual but i recorded the sound with a Logitech USB Desktop Microphone which costs about $30 Aus dollars

  • nice guitar =)

  • all i can say is turn up the volume all i could hear was the pick striking the strings. xD keep rockin

  • dude that was fucking lame... find a teacher and make than records. bitch

  • why don't you come here and say that, il fukn knock u out. u dnt need to be such a cunt. you fagot

  • sick man. truely sick.

  • hey what settings you used on this amp?

  • sorry i forgot what they where but i only used the amp effects no pedals. i know i used reverb but can't remember the rest sorry.

  • i have a vintage majohany in cherry studio. have any of you compared the faded to the regular studio? what's the difference in feel of the neck... not the fretboard... the neck,, i bought it on superbowl sunday the first. I think i can return it and pay the difference...but what are the differences... i love the finishes better on the regular studios of course.

  • What do you guys think about this guitar?

  • I'm picking this guitar up in 14 days! Same fireburst but with silver pickups. Paid Australian $1950 for it (rrp $2899 - but who would pay that?). I was originally going to get a strat, but when I first played this LP I nearly wept it was so beautiful, the notes just sustain and scream forever! exactly the same electrics as a standard but half the price. Beautiful! can't wait to take it home - now I just need an amp to do it justice...

  • dude!!!!

    that guitar is $1319 buks!!!

  • i think you are talkin US? (hopefully) i paid $1600 for mine

  • Hey dgdhd etc.. Yep that price I put down was Australian dollars, so it depends on the exchange rate, but at present we are 63cent per 1 american dollar, so add like 30 - 40 percent to your $1319 US and you will see what I mean about a good price. Anyway I actually got this guitar 3 days ago as I could not wait. It soo damn good, it set it up with .9 gauge strings and lowered the action, plays just beautifully, I am twice as fast as on my crappy jackson copy, loving it, highly recommended!!!!

  • ye its a beautiful amp. im getting the vox valvetronix VT50, pretty mad amp, have a look at it.

  • next guitar

  • nice job and sweet guitar.

  • thanks man

  • good shit dude, im thinking bout getting the same one my self, the fireburst dosent come with that ugly pickgard does it...?

  • na man it's original(in a way) :D

  • Wow, like all the comments on here are about your guitar. Nice cover though.

  • MY MY, that axe is stunning. You need a strat for jimi though.

  • thnx dude.

ye i got one, dnt know why i didnt use it

  • is it as good as the standard and classics, that guitar

  • im not to sure but gibson is gibson :D

if you can spend the amount of money to buy a standard or classic then get that but this guitar is very very good and much cheaperr

  • jesus thats good

by any chance is that a slash replica guitar

  • thnks dude.

na it isn't its just a Gibson Les Paul Studio Fireburst. i really like the slash guitar though:D

  • im getting that guitar for 500 dollars!!

  • fuk. thats a decent price. lol

    lucky

  • i know my friends brother quit guitar so that offer came up

  • Saving for that guitar. :) Pure awesomeness.

    Great playing!

  • cheers man.

  • im getting that guitar soon YAY

  • i have that same guitar. awesome job btw 5 stars and im subbing

  • its cool man, i get this guitar, its very cool, jimmy are the god.

  • Is this guitar good cause its the exact one i was looking at except im thinking of getting chrome hardware.Would you reccomend it?

  • well for me i liked the gold hardware, i guess i didnt really look at the chrome hardware that much. but it's all up to you. :)

  • yea il probably end up gettin it in chrome.i cant wait.by the way deadly cover dude your really good

  • cheers man

  • I want that guitar! :D

I've got an epiphone les paul studio at the moment and I just find them so playable and just a dream sound. I'm saving up for one of these babies in that exact same colour, hopefully have one soon.

Nice cover man, keep on rockin!

  • hey herberj7 how do u like ur les paul? im thinking of getting one when i get the cash and i just would like some opinions

  • hey. ye this les paul is an amazing guitar i have also got a fender strat and the les paul shits on it. its tone is amazing it look great and is easy to play. but at the end of the day tone is what counts and this guitar has got gr8 tone.

  • urg not the best paint job gibson has come up with id say i have desert burst i think and its GREAT i love it more than anything, that looks a little cheesy, maybe its just through the comp

  • but the fireburst is the best color for the les paul studio

  • I'm getting a Les Paul Studio, but I can't decide between the wine red, and this fireburst...or the alpine white looks great too. Help!!! Can't decide.

  • well i really like the wine red but i already have that colour for my fender strat so i couldn't get the same colour on my Les Paul. The alpine white looks nice on the comp but its too 'cheesy' in real life(in my opinion.)when i saw the fireburst i just couldn't resist. good luck

  • By the way, do you know if they (Gibson) are making the studio with a chambered body these days? Some people say they are chambered others say they aren't?

  • not sure man. sorry

  • What do you think of your LP Studio overall? Have you had any problems/issues with it quality wise? Does it stay in tune well. How well was it set up when you got it?

  • this LP studio is the best buy ever. when i got it everything was perfect. no problems. you need to tune it a bit at the start (but all guitars are like that anyway) the paint job was amazing. the only downside to this guitar is that there is no difference in tone when you use both treble and rythm. but treble n rythm by them selves is great.

bottom line is that for it's price its an amazing guitar

  • I'm leaning towards the Wine Red I think. I like to see the wood grain on a guitar, so I think the Alpine White is ruled out. I think wine red with gold hardware looks unbeatable

  • Im gettin the Wine Red deffo the prettiest :)

  • i just got it..they are not as dark as on the gibson site..the fireburst looks really good if ur in really good light u can really see the fine paint

  • ye thats true

  • Nice playing, im getting the exact same guitar sometime(probably within a month or so), cant wait!

  • what a nice guitar im getting the same as yours this christmas... hopefully

  • It's gonna be the best Christmas present you will ever get:)

  • hehe u got the feeling :D awesome

  • nice pual epiphone or gibson?

  • its a gibson
