  • I was born in the 80s, but SNF is absolutely one of my favorite movies!

  • You should be fucking dancing!!!

  • It's amazing how Travolta went from the New York disco king in 1978 to a Texas urban cowboy in 1980. The Bee Gees and Johnny Lee owe him most of the credit for their greatest successes. They were very talented in their chosen genres but so were thousands of others.

  • Just referenced this movie in my blogpost about sneaking into the drive-in

  • 155 Burkas!

  • 何年前でしょうか。

    わが青春ですね。若いって本当にいいですね。

    年配もいいか。今の若い人ちょっとかいそう。

  • the best movie for ever !

  • "Alright" Cheri! I hope you all alright too!

  • My band is playing this but for some reason the 7th grades arent allowed to play T.T WTFF

  • It is funny how styles come back. The clothes that were cool in the 1970's have become cool again in 2012. Now that styles of the 1980's and the 1990's are the ones to laugh at. The slim fit non-pleated dress pants are in again. The slim fit button down with the wide collar is in again. The pointed leather shoes are in again.

  • @shelleyinthecity dude its been 2012 for a day lol

  • @shelleyinthecity my generation has no creativity or originality, so we copied from the 70s. Sorry, us teenagers just are not cool any more.

  • @shelleyinthecity I always hated the pleated dress pants. Pleats are for dresses not mens pants.

  • I had a pair of cool shoes like that in 1977! And pants, shirt, hairdo....Discos not dead in my heart!

  • 0:30 is the definition of walking with swagger in the truest sense of the word. look it up in the dictionary.

  • 0:30 the way I walk to school ;D

  • GOD BLESS 1978..:P

  • coisa mais prega sei la como minha mae gosta disso

  • Name song of 0:00 - 0:15 Please :)

  • @Bidzin123 It's the intro to the song that starts at 2:33, it's Disco Inferno by The Trammps.

  • @Bidzin123

    Stayin' alive by the beegees.

  • @Bidzin123 Same as 2:36 "Disco Inferno" by The Trammps. 00-0:15 is the musical intro, that's all. Groovy aint it?

  • It's short he is one of the best artists more than years.

  • John Travolta was such a lovely looking man back then...*sigh* :)

  • he's annoyingly cocky in this film.

  • @brrrrr12 I think he was supposed to be. He was supposed to be an immature 19 year old.

  • Does Travolta say Attica attica attica in this movie?

  • my friends all like JB and all liked the movie, if i saw this movie once i cut my neck! this is a movie! witha real MUSIC!

  • my parents youth life lol

  • Timeless movie. Timeless music. So good.

  • @arnold84500

    Timeless Tony Dance.

  • @206Zelda yes, that white man can dance. very rare for a white man.

  • This movie is so fucking sick man. I usually don't like Travolta but he fucking rules in this. A+

  • Tony was carrying a paint can.

  • what is 5:24 to 5:32 called

  • waht was he carrying?

  • Rever esta introdução me remeteu a Papagaio, NY City Discoteque, Miconos e até o Canecão e seus Embalos de Sábados a Noite no Rio e finais de 80. Nós éramos felizes e não sabíamos!

  • There was more romance.......

  • Every era has its own music and everyone will say that the music of his youth was the best (because of memories). But the 70-ties was a special time.......

  • I will survive jesus

  • One of the best movies of all time. John Travolta's first and easily his best. Staying Alive was good but doesn't hold a candle to the original.

  • hahah i was into 70s rock but hell, everything was fucking sick, this was soo funky

  • i love that walk

  • Stayin' alive by the beegees

  • John Travolta is so hot ♥

  • i wish i had sawg like dat

  • @robinpeeters14 the song at the beginning is called Disco Inferno.

  • CAN SOMEBODY TELL ME WHAT THE SONG IN THE BEGINNING IS TILL 0:15? ISN'T IT A DIFERENT SONG AFTER?

  • I could watch this film every day for the rest of my life and still LOVE IT! J T was my first crush and still is! Agree with top comment, not a disco movie, but WAS disco! Thanks for sharing, thinks i'm due to watch it again ..................

  • He's carrying a paintcan...

  • "Love that polyester look!"

  • Hot! Never get tired of seeing John Travolta on this.So sexy. Luv it.These were the days

  • what are the titles of all the songs in this?:D

  • Beat murderer

  • John Travolta: Great actor, great dancer and in the meantime he flies his own 747? The sky ain't the limit for him , is it? ;-))

Respect JT, no negative comments on this one, ok?

  • Cual Es El Nombré De La Primera Canción Que Bailan

  • Cual Es el Nombré De La Primera Canción Que Bailan

  • Defenitely the coolest looking art of carrying a can....

  • I wish i was born between '60 and '65.... Would be nice. I like the music ;D

  • The question is why Karen Lynn Gorney for Travolta's love interest? IMO the worst casting ever. Even decades later.

  • @Talulah6 hey, she was hot and cute back in the day!

  • i hated polyester. very uncomfortable fabric.

  • @arnold84500 try wool!

  • @Dave897456 i heard wool is even worse! very hot/itchy and the moths live to eat it. nothing beats cotton. anyway, this movie was DA BOMB. saw Footloose remake yesterday and it was good! they should remake this film. it has been 34 years so there must b someone else who can b Tony Manero by now. Bring disco back please! that was dancing and Travolta had the moves.

  • @arnold84500 Good points. Next time you go to a disco, don't wear a shirt at all. Just maybe a couple of chains around the neck like Mr. T. That should solve the iching problem!

  • @Dave897456 what disco? they don't exist anymore where i live. like pay phones and good customer service. anyway, running around shirtless with gold chains and tight pants would b GAY and LAME. the white suit was at least classy and stylish. still i like the don draper mad men look so let's go back even further in time. the future sucks. we'll all look like characters out of the matrix.

  • @arnold84500 True. We will probably all look like the Robinsons in Lost 'n Space! Danger, Danger!

  • @Dave897456 Don Draper rules. he makes smoking and drinking look cool even tho i don't do either one.

  • When I saw this on TV in 1990, everyone thought it was a huge joke. But in 1995, everyone thought this was an icon.

  • luv luv luv this!.. if you luv this video...copy and paste into your youtube search bar.. Just for Tonite (Octayne ft Shamroc) its pretty awesome too...!!

  • only he can make walking with a pizza look cool

  • my kids mock me that i look when dancing like this

then i show them this, now they're dancing like this too!

  • god damnit why cant i dance like that

  • he was so sexy in that movie ......well hes still sexey ...... cool soong

  • at the 70's travolta was the coolest motherfucker on earth

  • @TheNicolas1997 thats already been said.. wow

  • Gosto muito!

  • I think I was born in the wrong time. My mom says I would have been a hippy in those days and I love the shit out of the 60's and 70's music and I think it is because not all of it is about sex or beating a woman up or men leaving women or women leaving men. I love this music. oh and no violence either

  • meant 5:30-5:40

  • 5:40 omfg

  • Disco Inferno is the first song @shokrolatmiam..... and to @ chunshern1998..More than a Woman..Bee Gees.

  • 6:39 - 9:22 , what is that song's name? it's really classic :)

  • @chunshern1998 It's 'More Than a Woman'. Remembering those days!

  • John travolta god of dance

  • I still want to dance like him now..and look at the music now... rubbish!

  • Wooo!

  • Could anyone tell me the name of the first music of this vid?

Not Stayin Alive by Bee Gees, I mean the one just before.

    Thx and great music :)

  • @Shokrolatmiam disco inferno

  • John travolta is one of the greatest dancers don't fuck around...he'll put chuck norris on show with these moves pwahhhhh

  • Travolta had the best butt in this movie!

    ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ஜ۩۞۩ஜ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬

  • @PennyFarthingx hell yeah I agree

  • Two two gimme two, thats good.

  • 148 people didn't get as much pussy as John Travolta

  • A must of disco..

  • Just WONDERFULL... disco disco disco..

  • Verdammt nochmal, das ist soo gut!!! :)

  • The great old days of disco and decent music to dance to and Travolta was so handsome, check out his smile and those eyes! He still is!!

  • This movie wasn't a disco movie, this movie WAS disco!

  • what a fucking crazy world we live in..people call him ugly ..jeezzzzz .unbelievable it really is,,he's a very good looking guy

  • Tony Monero, the original guido

  • -walks with 70's swag- :D i wish it was still like this

  • times have changed soo much...

  • 5 million plus hits. just can,t be wrong. Hell Yeah !

  • What a lot of Americans don't realize is that Travolta is considered ugly in most of the rest of the world. This former NYer tells it to ya straight, and frankly, he looks ghastly to me and I found this movie disturbing only in that it was so heavily edited, missing the sucking comments. Greetings from over here, I made it outta there. Uprated, thank you for posting.

  • Great 70s, fuck 2000s.

  • The original Guido.

  • from 'sweathog' to 'sweaty god'.

  • Admit it, you've always wanted to walk down the street listening to that song

  • Excelente...!

  • i use to party a lot during the 70s, hustle, latin hustle, clubbing evry weekend, those were the days, damm i wish they created a time machine so i can go back, lol

  • Wow

  • pure classic: soundtrack and movie

  • El mejor bailarin de todos los tiempos.

  • videos viejitos, pero muy sanos, nada de violencia, asi deberian de ser ahora.

  • Back then I never cared for disco and never knew until recently that JT was a damn good dancer, I know people make fun of him but I like to see them move like the way he did & if there any awards going for best dancer believe me he would be #1

  • @ck586 "I like that polyester look" LMFAO!

  • Just like kids still practice Michael Jackson's dance moves, JT's solo dance should be too, lol! That's a bad ass dance piece. Breaking it down like James Brown!

  • Today he would be considered totally gay if he danced like this!

  • @Depotmaster he is totally talented that's all that matters!! Isn't sad that people would be so anti gay to apprecaite that???

  • @Depotmaster apparently you dont watch "So You Think You Can Dance"

  • @Depotmaster that's only because we don't know what class is now

  • lol...his strut, makes my LMFAOOO! He reminds me of a man "cat" lol...a cool CAT, But he looks funny...with the high heels! ahahaaha

  • @redsoxfan0428 Wasn't too much into Sci-Fi when i was a kid, i had a hard time watching Star Trek when it came on TV as a child. I learned to appreciate Star Wars & Star Trek and similar Sci-Fi productions as an adult more or less. Although i did see Star Wars in the theatre in 1977 (my sister was into it so she took me) I wasn't moved like i was for Superman & Saturday Night Fever.

  • Dude so copied the WoW Male Human dance. What a jive turkey.

  • What's the song in the beginning?

  • @Samonuh It's called "Disco inferno". By The Tramps

  • @Rebelthoughts

Chuck Norris would just punch Travolta in a danceoff, end of story.

  • I love Metallica, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, much much more, and this as well ! ! !

  • 146 are not trying to stay alive

  • cool :D

  • I showed this to my 19 year-old daughter.

    She laughed.

She said that I must have looked really weird dressed like this.

Now that makes me feel old....

    But proud....!

  • @staffsmole IS MORE WEIRD TO DRESS LIKE LADY GAGA

  • In the 70's Travolta was the coolest motherfucker on earth.
