Yeah, I am not sure it is a tornado. I have some pictures showing a funnel cloud sticking out of the high based meso. This video shows it but with contrast enhancing it shows a far better picture. I am wondering if this just RFD dust being blown from west to east and there just so happens to be a high based funnel. Very tough call. I don't think I will count it as a tornado until I get a more definitive answer. I am working with the NWS in Omaha and they are as stumped as I am lol
Hey I have video of this same touchdown and then subsequent lifting of the dust ahead of the initial brief touchdown. I have been debating with my other colleagues whether or not the larger wall was from a small cone above or from the RFD crashing to the ground as it wrapped around the circulation. Debateable for sure, regardless it was quite impressive. Plenty of others are simply listing this as a "gustnado".

I was 1500 ft away... and I saw a fast rotating directly funnel above the ground circulation... however, the ground circulation was broad and weak.
At one point the dust looked like it revealed the funnel halfway to the ground
On further review... I'm saying no tornado, until a video can prove it
