Awesome Vid! Hope we can keep the 2nd Amendment, it is really important. I've have gotten to shoot and am waiting to get my first rifle soon, shooting is just aweshem!
Sootch, as an avid supporter of the 2nd amendment and a member of the NRA I can say that we Brits can stand shoulder to shoulder with our American brothers and support a system that works and a right that's right. Just wish I could be at the range there with you. Shoot safe, shoot often, be an ambassador for the sport. Great vids my friend. DeepEye
Guys lucky. I have to teach myself. My dad has showed me a little but not much. Hes not really big on them he has a few but they collect dust now. Also everybody I know is afraid of the word gun.
у вас есть хороший канал. Я смотрю часто. Я не из Америки, так что я был woundering если вы занимаетесь сексом с дочерью. Я слышал, что вы, люди делают такие вещи. Это правда.
Sootch, the 2nd Amendment doesn't "give" us our right to keep and bear arms any more than any other portion of the U.S. Constitution "gives" us our rights. Our rights simply "are" and the Constitution does not more than enumerate what our government of the people will do to secure them. It is vital U.S. citizens understand this fundamantal difference inherent to our system of government. We are born with every right there is - the law is there simply to protect those rights "from" government.

Lets not forget about the older generations as well. I am 24 years old and for the first time in my life my grandmother asked to go to the shooting range to fire her gun which she has had for over 30yrs and never shot.
Way to go Sootch! Great Job! Keep up the great work. Awesome concept, taking someone out to shoot and/or teaching them how to shoot. We need supporters of the 2nd Amendment.
Fantastic video Sootch. I think the Gun Owners of America is a more steadfast gun lobby, they produce ratings of every politician too, and unfortunately most are F/D's in terms of gun rights.
This is an excellent video cause it doesn't show a bunch of rednecks toting around guns without the safety on, bashing the President. Excellent positive representation for the 2nd amendment.
It's so important for younger folks to learn about guns early. It creates such safety because it gets rid of the mystery of the firearms. They aren't as curious, and far less likely to tamper with firearms.
I love this video. The firearms community needs to welcome everybody. It really makes a big difference when one gun lover passes on knowledge and the enjoyment onto someone else. @TexasTacticalHQ The AZ law that lets us OC is very old. They half to be with you to OC. I think its up to the parents to make good decisions in getting their children to be safe and responsable with firearms. I agree with Montana being 14 they just need to be educated by their parents about Firearms and the laws that go with them.
@TexasTacticalHQ Arizona law lets young adults 15-18 to open carry with their legal guardian, also AZ law lets 16 to 17 year old to have a long gun in their car at 18 you can have a hand gun in their car.

i agree with sootch 150%. iv taken many ppl that have never even fired a gun out and now they ask me all the time when are we going again. my gf was skeptic of firearms and when i keep one on my night stand she would be scared and antimidated by it and almost thought i was weird because if it. i took her to the range with me and after about 5 rounds she was just smiling and popping away. even with my kimber custom II 45 acp she shot well and she actually liked the bigger caliber better. good vid

Everything about it is always a positive experience (except the price haha), but opening minds to the 2nd Amendment is well worth the price. Plus it's just something fun to do with friends. I also try to post videos of them shooting so they can look and be proud and maybe show their friends and convince others.
what cracks me up is reading posts from right wing anti-govt sociopaths spouting that the 2nd amendment was written to protect you from tyranny, lol. if the govt wanted to oppress u, it could be done easier today than ever b4. it's unlawful to own surface to air missiles, rocket launchers, etc- the weapons that could actually work against govt seeking tyranny. .308 wont help you against an AC-130, a predator drone, or cruise missiles. at best, 2A allows u to defend yourself from eachother.
Thanks Sootch. We all need to spread the word to those who might not be aware of the attack of our 2nd Amendment rights. If we lose this cornerstone, I believe that we will have begun to lose freedom itself, and all that it entails. Education is the key!
Reaching a younger crowd...Thats how I started. My dad took the little 12 year old me out to my uncles farm and taught me how to drive a stick shift in the field and taught me how to shoot his 10/22. He was not a big shooter but owned a J22 for self defense, a Ruger Security Six .357 for home defense and general fun, and the 10/22. That day was amazing. i was bitten by ticks and bugs all over, one tick found his way to about 1 inch from a particular lower area, but my shooters flame was lit.
If everyone posting videos or making comments would follow your advice, it would be a great first step. Those we introduce to the sport need to step up and teach others, and so forth. When I attend local gun shows, I typically see more older people than younger. It is essential that we not only introduce practical shooting and safety, but especially make people aware of legislation that impacts the future of the 2nd.
following that up sootch im 14 and im in love with guns... i have a norinco sport 1911, a savage mark 2 (22), and a taurus 44 magnum... i have tought several of my friends how to shoot and now i have a mini competition with now 10 of my best buddys and we just like to plink at a can and we have done run and gun with 10-22 but we have a rule that there can only be one gun and thats the one the shooter has in the whole range
I would add that from the perspective of the 2nd Amendment, taking a woman out to shoot is probably worth a lot more than taking a guy. Two reasons for this: 1. MOST guys are going to naturally be open to guns anyway (not so with your average woman and 2. women will tell their friends how much fun they had (honestly, women listen better and are usually better at first - and what woman doesn't like to show up her significant other in a male dominated pursuit...).
@sootch00 Take my wife to the range regularly. She loves it. The scary thing is she shoots almost as good as I do and hasn't been doing very long. Awesome video as always!
great video sootch. i had the pleasure a few months ago to take a couple out shooting who, for lack of better words, were terrified of guns. now they love them and ask me all the time about going out again. its a great feeling.
your right sootch cause the youth of today will be our lawmakers of tomorrow and they need to know now that the gun is not the enemy. Also of how important the 2nd amendment is to everyone especially law abiding gun owners....thanks for what your doing....
Great video Sootch! Josh looks like a natural, then again he has a great instructor. I too take anyone and almost everyone that will ask me when i go shooting, even though there is still so much for me to learn i try to teach what i can to those that know less than myself. In my area (state) guns have such a bad rep and they are so fround upon it's not even funny, so i feel it's my duty to teach, help and inform all I can about guns and gun ownership. Keep'n it alive! Stay safe my friend. -Tim
God bless Mama! God bless chili ina can! God bless 2ply toilet paper (extra soft)! God bless Wal-mart an Lowes! God bless deep fryers! God bless boobies! God bless the truck! God bless sootch00s' channel! Most importantly God bless everyone in the USA! Cause if it werent fer the anti-gunners, anti-hunters, anti-anti chickenshits like yer selves. We wouldnt know what the fight is all about in this free society! The day is long an the dollar is short! We'll only have peace through a show of force!
I started with my son at 7 years old with his 22 (now past on to his little sis).. he is now 10. He just got the "only gun I will ever want", He's own AR-15.. Umm, well.. he now wants every gun he see's. lol.. I dont know were that comes from? My little girls, is now 8, and at 50 yards can land every shot in 3 inch's.. Girls seam to be more detailed.. not just with her 22, but with her brothers 5.56.. Yes, we all have had safty class's. Fig, I could use a reminder too
Hey, sootch, I've been trying to spread a love of shooting among my friends, mostly all of them from age 18 to 30. I am trying to show them that the media has poisoned the minds of many Americans into thinking that guns are bad. Check out my video called AR15 movie. It's a conglomeration of different people I've taken out shooting, many of them for the first time ever.
God bless America, and long live the republic.
As Craig Ferguson says every night, "It's a great day for America!"
@Vlaxerman343 sorry to rain on your parade of wonderfull gunfire, but think of all the lead when it comes back down to earth!! haha, and whats the population of the US? would 10 mill mean everyone gets a gun or are folk weilding (hate to say it) akimbo? (oh, the shame!) haha
@taskforce437 sorry you think that way but lead loses all of it's energy and isn't even remotely harmful when the lead falls down, and the population is 300 million you crazy idiot
great vid. since getting into firearms several years ago ive turned many of my friends into gun-aholics, and many now even have a cpl. its the best thing we can do for the safety of the 2nd amendment, and getting rid of the stereotype of gun owners. thanks sooch!
People need the exposure to firearms. It's the only way to fight ignorance. I collect military firearms myself. I find that once people can connect the history to the weapon that they are firing, they're hooked. I take a 16-18 yr old kid out, and explain that 70 years ago he would have storming the beaches with that same rifle, it's all over, the love affair has started. :)
Thank god gunlaws here in Czech Republic are still pretty liberal. I already got few people into shooting (3 of them have CCP/CCL now) and I try to show all my friends that shooting is fun sport and awesome and safe hobby. Only by that we can fight antigun tendencies in both in US and Europe. So far I had no negative reaction after taking someone to the range (once they meet some fine people and shoot guns they know from games/movies and find out its fun).
Keep up the great work. I know of people who have fire arms for person protection at work. They tell me the only reason they bought the firearm is for personal protection. I invite those people out to the range to do some plinking. After we get done shooting, they realize more of what there firearm can do. And with some helpful hits, they become more accurate ,and brings up the enjoyment of the sport.
I agree it's fun to shoot the down side is not the ammo it's having different weapons to shoot with I only have my .380 and my 9mm that i can shoot but I take it in stride gun prices here in California are retarded I wanted a Glock 26 cost was 800 I found a used one with a swapped 357 barrel they still wanted 600 for it and it was a Gen 2 and service weapon just turned in so prices greatly hinder any attempts at civilians getting to practice
Speaking of getting people to shoot for the first time I got my wife out to shoot for the first time yesterday. She likes the 9mm carbine. Not so much the Mosin lol
I wish I had someone to show me at least a little!! All I have learn it has beeng true youtube!! Thanks for people like You, nutnfancy, steve and a lot of others that post great vids!! Thanks!
im a teenager and i didnt understand the power of guns until she took me out to shoot for the first time. now that i have seen what that gun could do to someone, i have more respect for firearms safety.
Great stuff, brother. We need more folks like yourself to introduce others to the joys of shooting and the importance of the Second Amendment. Keep up the great work, Sootch!
BTW I took advantage of the 10% off deal that you have with Maxpedition again. For those who don't know, when buying from Maxpedition's website, enter promo code Sootch and get 10% off your order total.
Good job Sootch, I've had the pleasure of introducing my niece to firearms. She's an intelligent and responsible young lady, and it was fun to see her excitement, and interest in the shooting sports begin.
whatta jokester, ,sootch!! i was just about to change the video right at the end and then u go...''AGGHH'' it was hilarious, i had to come back and just comment.d
I guess WE THE PEOPLE must sue, fight and charge are own state and government for treason. THE CONSTITUTON IS THE LAW OF THE LAND. It's give americans RIGHTS not privileges. It is a Anti-government bill. But we all know that crimimals don't follow laws. In yours state and others cops, judges and politicians are breaking the oath that they swore to. So I ask you AMERICA were are the lines drawn. Join your local and state millitias. If you can find one MAKE ONE!! UNITED WE STAND!!!
@renrebel13 I do agree sir. However, I would take issue with one statement, "It's give americans RIGHTS..." No sir it does not give us those rights. It is suppose to prevent the government from cutting back those rights. "A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed." It is instructions to the government not to encroach or trespass on our already existing right to own and carry firearms.
Awesome. It's like spreading the Gospel, except much easier, since it is in most male blood to fire guns and handle weapons. A friend of my family took me shooting when I was 10 years old, and ever since then, I was hooked.
More people die by car accidents every year than illegal firearms, that should give people a clue about how little people will be hurt by guns. I want to be able have several assault rifles in my pickup truck while going to the beach in NJ. I want to be able to go the bank with magnum on hand, just to express my ability of the 2nd amendment.
you can, but only just, you need to find someone who is an eliteist, and owns a HUGE farm and possibly do a bit of clay pigeon, or maybey NRA (yes, we do have that here!) and you could do a bit of target shooting. no0where near as epic as in the USA though.
i really enjoy taking people out shooting, most of them want to get a gun until they find out how much i spent on ammo for the trip. but the look on their face when they shoot a slug for the first time is priceless.
you never know, they could be pro gun, but are jealous thatyou lucky yanks have the 2nd ememdment. hell over here in the UK we need a licence for a fraking bb Gun!!!!
@rodriguezdp15 I have to disagree with your attitude here.
I'm surrounded by antigun folks, but they know very well my enthusiasm for firearms. I demonstrate that I am a reasonable and responsible person, and hopefully convince them to come out the range with me. I've taken 5-6 people with little or no gun experience out to the range before and have at least made them more comfortable around guns (3 of them have since bought a gun). Now would that have worked if I had just cursed at them?
I took a friend out to the range so he could shoot for the first time and showed him the basics. started him off with my browning buckmark and then moved him up to my springfield m1911a1. My results were great, he will be purchasing a gun soon and filed for a carry permit class. he already made up his mind on all of that when we hopped back in the car to leave the range lol.
@kohlsblows that is exactly what has kept me from renewing my NRA membership. there are other pro-firearms organizations that do a great job without selling us out.
One thing I offer my friends who are new to shooting is a free one year NRA membership (I pay the fee) when they get their first firearm. After the one year mark, they are almost certain to renew the membership and it's a great way to bolster the NRA.
@pigwigpa The Left/Right paradigm is a way to keep us all in check. Even the terms we use are perverted by those who rule us. A "liberal" would actually guarantee our freedoms. A "conservative" would actually want to maintain the status quo on gun control, much like the NRA. The NRA is a terrible, two-faced organization. It's got a lot of great people, like Sootch, doing a lot of hard work, but it's also got the lobbyists and leaders and politicians who do everything to keep the 2nd Am in check.
Awesome ? Taking a person to the range for the first time is always a good thing. You earn a lot of respect points with this video. Great video.

+100 on this.
I would add that from the perspective of the 2nd Amendment, taking a woman out to shoot is probably worth a lot more than taking a guy. Two reasons for this: 1. MOST guys are going to naturally be open to guns anyway (not so with your average woman and 2. women will tell their friends how much fun they had (honestly, women listen better and are usually better at first - and what woman doesn't like to show up her significant other in a male dominated pursuit...).
wye4379 8 months ago
@wye4379 Taking woman to the range is usually a big success. Once they fire a few rounds, they generally love it. Thanks for the comment.

-Tim

Umm, well.. he now wants every gun he see's.

Good stuff Bro.

I guess WE THE PEOPLE must sue, fight and charge are own state and government for treason. THE CONSTITUTON IS THE LAW OF THE LAND. It's give americans RIGHTS not privileges. So I ask you AMERICA were are the lines drawn. Join your local and state millitias. If you can find one MAKE ONE!! UNITED WE STAND!!!
renrebel13 8 months ago
@renrebel13 I do agree sir. However, I would take issue with one statement, "It's give americans RIGHTS..." No sir it does not give us those rights. It is suppose to prevent the government from cutting back those rights. "A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed." It is instructions to the government not to encroach or trespass on our already existing right to own and carry firearms.

One thing I offer my friends who are new to shooting is a free one year NRA membership (I pay the fee) when they get their first firearm. After the one year mark, they are almost certain to renew the membership and it's a great way to bolster the NRA.

pigwigpa 8 months ago
@pigwigpa The Left/Right paradigm is a way to keep us all in check. Even the terms we use are perverted by those who rule us. A "liberal" would actually guarantee our freedoms. A "conservative" would actually want to maintain the status quo on gun control, much like the NRA. The NRA is a terrible, two-faced organization. It's got a lot of great people, like Sootch, doing a lot of hard work, but it's also got the lobbyists and leaders and politicians who do everything to keep the 2nd Am in check.
