I like all the comedians on mock the week but I do agree that it's not the same without Frankies no limit comedy.

It seems almost everybody agrees that Mock the Week is far worse off without Frankie. I like Stewart Francis and Milton Jones, but Frankie is needed, not just for his stinging jokes, but for his cynical counterviewpoints. Now, it's like a discussion where everybody is essentially agreeing from the start. And now, we don't even get to see him do stand up anymore...a double loss.

@TheNeotrixUK Russell Howard is the most overrated comic today. Just because his f@@ked so many woman taken a life supply of drugs doesn't make him talented in my book. Where as with Frankie Boyle you've got real talent there. I know who I'd pay to see and it wouldn't be Russell Howard but Frankie.

Frankie Boyle was special on Mock the Week, he's actually not that good a stand up comedian. He's naturally funny at best - so just sitting in, jumping in with comments is his quality.

Like David Mitchell, would be bad at stand up, but excellent on panel shows.

Mock the Week is 96% shitter without Frankie. Only Dara and the occasional Hugh Dennis gag save it from being total wank. Not that I'd know, I've never watched a whole episode since Frankie walked.

@barretsbumhole He's working on a new "talk-show", that'll hopefully be better than his last attempt at a tv show - Tramadol nights (decent stand-up sections, woeful sketches) - but I've heard that he's given up stand-up. His last show was, "I Would Quite Happily Punch Every Single One Of You In The Face", re-named "If I Could Reach Through The Screen And Strangle You , I Would" for DVD. That was hilarious, buy it or Frankie will rape and kill you. And not necessarily in that order.

Frankie is one of the best comedians basically because he knows no limits, if it's offensive then 9.9/10 times Frankie has said it.
