  • Can anyone tell me who's the pedal steel player here, lovely stuff.

  • Can anyone tell me who the pedal steel player is ?????

  • Great cover, excellent.

  • 1.618 just perfecrt

  • Wow! I love this artist, this song, this CD (Meet Glen Campbell)! Thanks for the post.

  • Have always appreciated the talent Glen has , it seems as if the mixing was off as his voice was a little muted at times , and it wasn't for lack of power on his part.

  • Bless You ...Mr. Campbell !

  • this song was written for a very very special friend of mine well at least at one time thanks

  • love it!!

  • And to think that Glen's middle name is Travis, how ironic, best version I've heard in a long time, classic.

  • Great song, Great singer!!

  • i have nothing super fancy or original to say .... i just love Glen Campbell

  • The Campbell/Stone (his mother's side) family has many members who are very musically gifted, not just Glen. Even his sisters sing. When the family gets together (like on the Fourth of July) they jam together & it's really awesome. We were invited one year by Glen's cousin (a friend of our's) & we were floored at how good the whole family is. It was an amazing evening & we'll always treasure the memory. Glen is a superb instrumentalist - even better than his singing.

  • Glen IS the man.

  • Listen to the voice.Orbison and him has no problem getting the high note. ØB

  • @Tenth12andMajorLift Many of his children are now in his band and backup singers.

  • A truely great performer!

  • I had the privilege of attending 2 of his concerts in the 70's....one at Carnegie Hall in NYC and one in NJ at the Garden STate Arts Center....both were amazing....but his mature voice still has a lot of punch and he is never off pitch. Awesome talent.

  • fascinating!! Travis_Campbell...!! the most unexpected of combinations...and boy...does he deliver the song beautifully!!!

I love it when he gives the performance a little extra punch and his lower jam sticks out a tiny bit...so brings me back to his days in True Grit!! love ya Glen!!!!

  • @MrBurntsalad HALLO Mr. GLEN CAMPBELL.....Thank you Werryyyy niiiiiice ...

  • la meilleure version musicale !

  • la meilleure version !

  • @patton59 aah!! il a massacré une très belle chanson !

  • One of my personal Heroes!!!

  • Where has he been for so long. He's sooo good. He can play any instrument and still has a great range.

  • It really was great to hear a new glen campbell album. Being

over 70, it was amazingly good. His live performances are hindered a bit sometimes by the limits of simply getting older, but still a heck of a talent. Meet Glen Campbell was my fave album that I bought last year. Played it over and over.

  • God I love listening to Glen sing. He always believed that he played guitar better than he sings. I agree with him.....if you've ever herd this man just play guitar.....he's as much a guitar god as Chet Atkins or Jerry Reed...and those guys could P-L-A-Y. This brings me to tears....will people appreciate Glen's talent 20 yrs from now? Man I hope so.....

  • A TRUE MASTER! At Work, A True Professional Can Sing Any Song They Please And Have No Fear Of Ever Ruining It. And Here Glen Demonstrates This Very Fact With PURE CLASS!

  • Yeah, good old Glenn Campbell, great voice,,,and what a history this fellow has.

  • Perfection ! It's perfect. Merci, thanks.

  • Double LOVE!!

  • BIIG LOVE!

  • He hasn't lost it after all these years! True master of the 12 string, too.

  • Im not really that into Country so Id have to say travis's version (original) is the best, not that this one isn't good im just not into country.

  • these young bands are palying with Glen because they repect his talent....he is amazing

  • There's not one bad cut from this release.

  • I remember when i heard this song at his concert ! hahaha ! hes awesome

  • I love Glen Campbell and I love this song. Great to have him back!

  • Glen just kills this song.

  • It is a great album!

  • Glen does a great job on this song... I like it better than the original!

  • I have this album and it's just great. Everyone I play it to has nothing but great things to say about it. It just goes to show that styles come and go but real talent always rises to the top.

  • I'm coming to see you on Thursday, March 12th at ' Shooting Star Casino' and I'm praying this weather leaves so YOU'LL play for us. I've been waiting forever to see you and I'm just so excited. Look for that chubby blonde in the audience and know it's all for you...

  • LOL it looks like Travis, 30 years later :P

  • Is that Bonnie Owen singing backups ?

  • That is Glens daughter Debbie

  • I've been listening to Mr Campbell all my life and this is awesome- the recording of this song on 'Meet Glen Campbell' is incredible, his voice still sounds so beautiful. I heard this cover version on the radio back in the summer without realising who it was at first and was blown away.

I like the Travis version but Glen's voice really does something that sends shivers down my spine. Keep up the good work, Sir.

  • I wish Glen would play guitar in these live versions. After all, he's pretty damn good.

  • You are grate my mom loves your music and this is one of them keep it going God Bless You.

  • excellent version...

  • way to go glenn show them youngsters you still got it nice one!

  • He's got one of those voices that just get you.

  • Oh the Mighty Glen, no one could phase words as good as glen, still good at 72. Legend in deed

  • Bloody good to see him back! A respite from the morons who currently dominate the charts.

  • Why is he not playing guitar?

  • He's a legend and I am so happy to see his long and storied carreer take off again!

  • He's a fuckin' legend. How is this record doing?
