The base was extensevely tested before opening it to the public to ensure that no one could hit the wall under any scenario, with strong wind conditions this is however close for security reasons. The jumpers don't get off from the dam itself but from a metallic structure built on the top of it, several meters away from the wall. Also, instead of jumping forward they jump with a trajectory that is parallel to the wall and eliminate the risks to get too close to it.

doesn't whip you round so much if you dive properly. I did the jump check out Paul Brennan Goldeneye Bungy if you want to watch it. My snap is not as severe it's best to jump out as far as you can. If your legs jelly before you jump it can hurt!

go to zurich and take the 10:09 or the 12:09 train to Locarno...then take the next bus from the same station to Verzasca which drops u at the very edge of the Dam...they start ujmping at 01:30 PM and go on till about 06:00 PM...simple
