  • Romo has the clutch gene.

  • Staubach, Aikman and White were legendary QBs but notice they had defenses too. Tony Romo as a matter of fact has the 2nd best career rating out of any QB in NFL history... Aaron Rodgers being the first.

  • @NFLization QB Rating is a flawed system in meaning situations, but I do think Romo is a great QB.

  • @Hellogoodbye90gm Er.... Many* not meaning.

  • I'm a huge fan of the Dallas Cowboys but not such a fan of Romo, he does have some pretty impressive stats with that being said the stat that matters the most is the W which he has yet to get some big W's for the Cowboys. As for Tony Romo being the best Cowboy player ever?!?! You're high as shit if you think that, there's plenty of Dallas Cowboys players that far surpass him as a professional ball player.

  • You must mean statistically lol. He's good, even of the best in the league but being fans of the Dallas Cowboys...We want rings!!! Tired of hearing NY Giants fans brag. The steelers have more rings now.

  • Wow this video sucks ass. I'm a huge cowboys fan but tony romo sucks big time. It's funny how everyone thinks he's so great.

  • Anyone notice that ever since this season has started Romo hasn't had as much of a consistency problem as his past? I think he's finally found a way to get around his weakness

  • i think that tony romo was the one that posted this video epic fail.

  • U r a dumbass Tony romo sucks next to some that hv played on the cowboys

  • fuck tony romo bumass

  • Yeaa romo is a beast QB but it actually has to go to Troy Aikman

  • Roger Staubach and Troy Aikman are ahead of Romo but Romo could be the 3rd best.

  • @NFLization I think Danny White would come 3rd and then maybe just maybe Romo would be 4th.

  • i love the cowboys been a fan all my life and im 22 now but i dont think tony romo is the best QB dalles has ever had but he is still a good QB stop all the hateing and start loveing the game again

  • i wouldent say the best player

  • Tony romo is better than michiel ivern

  • @MrRusty1999 That sentence makes no sense logically. Both Romo and Irvin play a completely different position.

  • @TheEndofdays311 TONY IS A COWGIRL

  • @tiptacboom and yur a faggot

  • @irundstreets DID HE WIN A SUPER BOWL LIKE BEN AND TOM N.O. CAN YOU SAY CHOKE ON A DICK CUM CUM LOSER LOL

  • @tiptacboom Give him a break dude. Tony is better than over 3/4 of the starting QBs out there. Just because a QB won a Superbowl before doesn't mean they are better now-a-days. Rivers is good but he never won one, Vick is good but he never won one, Ryan is good but he never won one, Romo is good but he also never won one. Any of these QBs can win one if their offense and defense can help them out. Road to the Superbowl is all about teamwork.

  • @TheEndofdays311 TONY SUCKS DICKS LIKE YOU DO you threaten me I report you to my local police station.

have fun being on the watchlist

  • he's not the best we've had, but he's the best we've had in a long time. new lineman, get rid of scandrick, get a kicker, complete team right there

  • You MUST have been born after 1995. Any REAL cowboy fan wouldn't insult Dallas QB's like, Don Meredith, Roger Staubach and Troy freaking Aikman with that ridiculously ignorant statement. Love me some Romo but no where NEAR the best.

  • romo is not the best.

  • Him Aikman and Staubach man!

  • 1 of the best QB

  • I miss Romo;(

  • idk what the fuck your smoking but im pretty sure cowboys had a QB by the name of troy aikman

  • @gothlove96 thank you! this kids is a fucking idiot. I love romo and everything but aikman has three superbowls and romo has none. and romo only has only playoff win. so yeah this kid is a retard

  • i like the cowboys but in the next video play differnt videos than the same one over and over again

  • It sucks he is hurt this year, now they have Kitna but he is doing really good.

  • im a die hard cowboys fan to but romo is not the best kitna is better than him this year

  • 0:25 HOLY SHIT. thats perhaps the best play ive ever seen

  • Tony has a LONG way to go before he's "best ever" for the Cowboys......and that doesn't make me "a hater," it makes me a realist, and someone who actually honors the past.

    #1 and #2 - Staubach and Aikman....not sure which is #1 frankly.

#3 is probably still Don Meredith....though if you want to say Romo's better than Meredith, I won't argue with you very hard. So that makes Romo MAYBE #3, and at worst #4.

He needs a few years like the last few, and AT LEAST 2 Super Bowl rings to be #1.

  • @tmlink74 this might come across as silly, but what about dan white???

  • @ernieevh - that's not silly.....I actually thought about Danny White while I was writing my post....and I think you could make an argument for Danny being top 5, but that's about it.

Danny was not the DEFINITIVE starter for long enough...maybe 4 or 5 years only? There were at least two Quarterback controversies in Dallas during his tenure (remember Steve Pelluer & Gary Hogaboom?). And I'm not looking at stats, but I would guess that Danny was never a top 5 QB in the league in any year.

  • @tmlink74 agreed,,

  • @tmlink74 In his 1st 6 years in the league, while sitting the bench for 2, he has thrown more TDs than aikman did in his 1st 6 years

  • @shadysoldier84 that's true....but what does that mean.

First, Norv Turner ran the ball MUCH more often than Jason Garrett does.....that's just their individual tendencies, and doesn't make one QB better than another. (If I had Emmit Smith running behind Mark Tuinei, Nate Newton, Larry Allen and Erik Williams, I would run the ball a lot too, with either Aikman or Romo)

Plus, Turner INCREASES his tendency to run in the red zone (still to this day in San Diego).

  • @shadysoldier84 I'm not dismissing your stat - it's significant, and is certainly flattering to Romo and his legacy so far. But a single stat NEVER tells the entire story.

I mean, I could say that in the same six years, Aikman acquired three more Super Bowl rings than Romo did.....and frankly, if one stat is more important than the other.....it's that one.

Bottom line - like I said before.....Romo has the POTENTIAL to be the best ever....but he's got some work to do to get there.

  • @tmlink74 Yes, but the 3 rings are an obvious fact. Romo could have one AT LEAST 3 superbowls w the teams that aikman played on. Romo has had 1 thousand yd rusher in dallas, julius jones. Aikman had emmitt smith, along w michael irvin, nate newton, larry allen, darren woodson, deion sanders, daryl johnston. Romo has had one consistent performer in dallas and thats jason whitten

  • @shadysoldier84 - and don't you see how you just proved my point?

You think if Aikman were the only All-Pro weapon on the team, he wouldn't have had as many or more touchdowns as Romo does?

And not only was he not the only all-pro weapopn, Aikman ALSO had an offensive coordinator that hands off the ball at least 2 of every 3 plays in the red zone....Jason Garrett throws the ball 2 out of 3. It's quite natural for Romo to have more TD passes considering the circumstances.

  • @tmlink74 He ran the ball becomes emmitt smith was the running back. They still wouldve ran the ball more if romo were the qb in the 90s, but they would of also had an even better passing attack despite aikman having better recievers

  • @shadysoldier84 - and Aikman would have thrown the ball more if he were playing in this decade - and would have more passing touchdowns than Romo would have if he had played in the 90's.....so you would be saying Aikman was better.

Don't you see how none of what your saying does ANYTHING to prove your point?

You're convinced Romo is better.....you're in the vast minority. Romo may wind up better than Aikman - he ABSOLUTELY is not better than him yet though.

  • @tmlink74 Romo has 2070 passing attempts in his career. Aikman had over 3100 attempts and yet threw less tds and more picks than romo in his first 7 years in the league

  • @shadysoldier84 - Seriously? You're still talking? And offering nothing besides more statistics that are absolutely meaningless?

Romo is excellent - as soon as he gets a ring, he's #2....if he gets 2 or 3, he'll eclipse Staubach, too.....but unless/until that happens, the best he can hope for is #3....period.

    I'm sorry - you're just wrong.

But that's okay, we're all wrong sometimes. It's just not me in this case - lol.

  • @tmlink74 How are stats meaningless. Numbers dont lie. You said that garrett throws the ball more than turner did. However, i showed you that despite aikman having more attempts, he had less TDs on a far more talented team.

You have nothing but the obvious fact that aikman won 3 superbowls around a super team.

You cant just say im wrong when its just your opinion. Stats are meaningless...wow. that just proves you have the NFL knowledge of a small child.

  • @shadysoldier84 - first of all, if you can't take a joke (please notice the "lol" at the end of my comment), you probably should think about getting off of YouTube (I'll refrain from tit-for-tat "little child" comments, though you have to know that I could)

I explained PRECISELY why the stats you're sharing are meaningless....I don't feel inclined to do so again.

But to illustrate my point - let me ask you this question.....why don't those same stats prove that Romo is better than Staubach?

  • @tmlink74 You didnt tell me why the stats were meaningless. You said that Romo had more passing opportunities than aikman, which i proved, by statistics, to be false. Second staubach actually DID have less attempts in his first seven years in the league and was therefore not able to accumulate the stats of Romo. He was also the main reason for the cowboys becoming America's team and thats why hes ahead of Romo.

Quit telling yourself youve proved me wrong when you didnt prove anything

  • @shadysoldier84 - I absolutely DID explain why....you really should read what I write if you're going to debate me. But since you apparently didn't get it the first time....

Norv Turner RAN THE BALL inside the red zone. He still does in San Diego....statistical FACT. As I said, so would I with Emmit and that line. (By the way, I am a college offensive coordinator, and PLAYED IN THE LEAGUE...so I'm not exactly a light weight when it comes to football knowledge.

  • @tmlink74 Marion barber has been a td machine with the cowboys. 41 since romo has been starting. 118 tds for romo though. STFU with the OC bullshit, and I seriously doubt you even played college football because your football knowledge doesnt reflect anyone that played in "the league"

  • @shadysoldier84 Its cool man. There are very few people who can challenge my sports knowledge...and you are no exception

  • @shadysoldier84 - I'm so sick and tired of arguing though, because you refuse to listen to any viewpoint other than your own.

I listened, responded and respected your opinions.....and told you where you were misguided, where I agreed with you, and how I saw things differently. In the end, you wouldn't stop beating a dead horse, so I found a humorous way (though apparently you didn't see it that way) to say "we're not going to agree, so let's drop it.

  • @shadysoldier84 - Instead, you choose to take offense, call me a child (apparently for not sharing, or being persuaded by your less-than-stellar football analysis), and take two or three more swings at that dead horse. Keep swinging all you want....you're entitled to your opinion. I just don't share it...tried to explain why...and TRIED to impart some football knowledge so that you, and anyone that cared to read our posts could be a more knowledgeable football fan.

  • @shadysoldier84 - but in the end.....if you don't want to listen, or learn, or just can't be swayed - that's great.....that's what sports fan-hood is all about.

Just leave me the hell alone.

  • @tmlink74 Staubach is #1 though

  • Troy Aikman in my opinion is better

  • yeaaaa thats right im a die hard dallas cowboys fan for romo

  • why the fuck you showin the same shit ova and ova niqqa ?

  • yeeea the cowboys are sick

  • he is so fucking good and he is my favo player ever

  • woooooooooot COWBOYS ARE THE BEST TEAM EVER GO COWBOYS btw saints your SHIT

  • I agree, Staubach, then Aikman, then Romo. In that order. Romo is clearly the present man for the job, and I believe we should have put him in years ago. Not many of these newfound Dallas fans remember that Romo sat on the 3rd string bench for 4 years before he was finally given his shot. He came in as an undrafted free agent. Anyway, all those mediocre, and has-beens between Aikman and Romo were just a soul search to find the next Aikman, and I believe we have that in Romo. GO COWBOYS!!

  • ahhh i love the rams one that proves that rams suck (and all other teams) and the cowBOYS rule

  • I'm a big Romo fan, but he is not the best to play at the position for the franchise. He's #3. I would give Aikman a slight edge over Staubach because of his 3 SB wins, but with the one of the best defenses in the league along with the top HB and WR, he should have been able to win 4-5 SBs.

    1a. Roger Staubach

    1b. Troy Aikman

    3. Tony Romo

  • @dianwei32 I am also a huge Romo fan he's my favorite of all time but he is #4. You must have forgot about Jim Kelly, quarterback after Staubach. But once Romo wins a super bowl, which he is gonna, he will be number one.

  • @isot714 No... Kelly never played for the Cowboys, he spent his whole career in Buffalo. The QB after Staubach left was Danny White, a good QB, but not at the level of Staubach or Aikman. Sadly, White doesn't get the credit he deserves because he was sandwiched between Hall of Fame QBs (he took over after Staubach and was replaced by Aikman).

  • @dianwei32 oh yeah that was his name. I couldnt think of it

  • @dianwei32 But Yeah Romo is still my favorite.

  • @dianwei32 QFT.

  • Romo is easily the 3rd best QB we've ever had!

  • ROMO? Ummmm no

    BOB LILY AKA. MR. COWBOY

  • I like Romo to but are you fucking kidding me? Five words: Troy Aikman and Roger Staubach!

  • i have always been a cowboys fan and have nothing against romo but aikman is way better than romo is

  • staubach and aikman are over romo right now.... and im a huge cowboys fan

  • i don't know if he is the best overall...he is def amazing! but def is the most fun to watch play!

    dallas for life!!!!

  • id have to say i def like roger stalback dude

  • im sorry i'm a dallas cowboys fan but r u fucking insane!!! troy aikman is obviouslty the greates qb weve ever had

  • roger staubach was the best

  • man I am subscribing to you just because you are a Dallas Cowboys fan. Dallas Cowboys 4 Life! great video 5 out of 5.
