I have the ending of Unbreakable on my mp3-player, and every time I hear it it gives me shivers down my spine and tears up my eyes, such a powerful ending.. One of the best.
man oh man, that part when the electro drums kick in is fantastic, i always thought it was some dance track that had been used in the film, only find out its a small part of the whole piece, argh! disappointing!!
"Are there any teletubbies in here? Do I have a slender plastic tag clipped to my shirt with my name written on it? Did you see a blank-faced Asian child riding in a mechanical helicopter outside that shakes when you put quarters in it?"
@DieCupcake i can hear the samuel L jackson in your voice i dont remeber that line but i can tell samuel said it i feel the tremble of his voice in those words nicely said
I have to agree, that is the best part of the movie, and there's a sense of innocence verse revenge. The kids want him to go back and beat the crap outta the guy who kept them tied up and killed their parents, and he just finished saving them, very good scene.
Best track and the part where he stands still in a crowd to see visions of what people do, watched last night on tv and thought I gotta find that track lol its a movie you can watch again n again
@8Multiple8Universes8 me too man i watched it last night :) my fav part is where he is saved by the kids he saved in the house and they pull him out of the pool and he stands up in the rain it look so heroic and epic :)
Probably the one of the most underrated movies of all time. This is a modern classic in my opinion. Beautifully shot, impeccably acted, a realistic, grounded story, with one heck of a twist ending. Why this film isn't regarded as highly as The Sixth Sense (or more) is a mystery to me.
This is what M. Night Shyamalan is all about. I don't know what happened, but he isn't revered as much anymore, we need something like this again M. Night.
who would have thought that i made a suggestion to use this theme in the dark knigt rises and long behold chris nolan director of the dark knight reads my suggestion and is now seriuosly considrering using this theme tune visions in the dark knight rises absolutely amazing if chris nolan reads this thank you youve made my day...

RE: -_- (Thought bubble)---> Psh "Look who's talking" My Dad could beat your dad down to the "Pulp [NO] Fiction"! He's "Nobodies fool", hes been through the "Armageddon" of hell and came back "The Last Man Standing"! He would drag your face through a "Whole Nine Yards" of Nails and Glass! He drinks from the "Tears of the Sun". He would hold you punk dad "Hostage" and throw him "over the hedge" He has a "Sixth Sense" for blood! My Dads "UNBREAKABLE" Bitch!
chris nolan if you read this you will find that this tune has a mystic about it and would be brilliant for capturing the audience attention in the dark knigt rises.
this i believe will be the new theme tune for the opening of THE DARK KNIGHT RISES.james newton howard dont forget that name or forget this tune coming to a cinema near you july 2012.remeber mr baptist said it first and you heared it exculusively on youtube..........KILL THE BAT.
While I have tremendous respect for John Williams as a composer, if you watch Revenge of the Sith, there's a part toward the end where Obi Wan is talking with Padme ... the part where she says "you're going to kill him, aren't you."
Listen to that music carefully at that point the next time you watch that movie. It's very, very, very similar to this song from Unbreakable. The strings portion that is anyway.
@MP197742 Wow man. I watched this movie today and that's why I came looking for the soundtrack to see what other movie it reminded me of. I knew it was a Star Wars but I couldn't figure out which one. So so so similar. I think you're right that John Williams stole this from James Newton Howard. Wayy too similar.
Was so surprised to read that this wasn't a commercial success and M. Night therfor would not be making the sequals Unbeatable and Unstoppable. Such as shame, this movie was fantastic in every sense
@trail3rbox If EVER a movie needed a sequel or justified one, this was the movie. I'm just dying to see David and Mr. Glass do combat, and how it unfolds in the world, it left me with such a hunger for more of the story...
@demboys18 It was suppose to be a trilogy but he decided to leave it as is. Makes me angry cause I wanted to know what happened too him and Mr.Glass but then again maby it was for the best.
@mattparkman Yea, no kidding! Well, I think it made sense for him to leave it as was at the time...but his other ventures haven't exactly been dynamite..so I don't think it would hurt him to return to a story that was moderatly successful for a fairly decent budget. If he did do a sequel..even with action I think it would still be low-key, with a decent budget. I think it would do well. It wouldn't be a smash..but it would be a good bounce-back for him. And, it's all setup and waiting.
A lot of people thought that M. Night's more recent movies were disasters, but in all honesty, I thought they were amazing and totally different and unique. Unbreakable was, in my opinion, one of Night's best, with amazing music every single movie. I am very much looking forward to future films of his.
This movie is absolutelly perfect in all ways, in every second. One of my favourite movies of all time. And this OST is trully a masterpiece from James Newton Howard.
This movie is absolutely perfect in all ways, in every second. One of my favourite movies of all time. And this OST is trully a masterpiece from James Newton Howard.
I have just watched this movie, really good, I could really connect to the characters, the plot was fabulous , I didn't enjoy the ending so much BUT , the ending was a good one, only that it was a bit too....abrupt?
Amazing movie the score is ridiculousy good, sooo intense. Especially the scene where he saves the family from the orange suit guy, whens hes wearin the rain coat following him.
What an uncommon movie this is! Listening to its score brings it all back and gives me goosebumps! I agree: definetely one of the best. I´ve heard interviews where M. Night Shyamalan says that, at first, he never wants a score for his movies... It´s funny when you can see the enormous contribution James Newton Howard's music has made to each one of his films.
By far one of my favorite movies, all time ! Bruce and Samuel nailed there parts, Bruce is the quiet and sad guy, just trying to figure out what went wrong in his life, Samuel setting in motion his life, hoping an answer would appear. The music is truly amazing, my ipod will not be complete without this music on it.
Some of my friends found this movie boring but I totally disagree. Unbreakable is great film with unique storyline. It wasn't Action - it's Mystery/Thriller with elements of SCI-FI. Bruce Willis was stunning. Spencer Treat Clark showed brilliant acting for a kid
his power is that his bones are "unbreakable", but how come it seems that he never bleeds? i know he can drown easily, but he never bleeds nor bruises despite the severity of the disasters he's in. hes still awesome though, and i love the music!
He is unbreakable in more ways than just his bones. He does not bruise either because his skin is also unbreakable. His weakness is water. And he also has exceptional strength and a psychic ability.
The best movie Shyamalan made, if you ask me. I always wondered what a superhero story would be like in the real world, and this movie delivered it perfectly.
signs was his BEST movie, but every movie of him was great, you just have to understand his movies right, so you see, it´s not nights mistakes but yours
Sorry, but I have to disagree. Both Signs and Unbreakable were great films (personally Unbreakable was a notch above signs) but after The village everything started going downhill. People can justify however they want, but The happening? That movie was a joke.
