Lucky man, I wish mine would've debuted with a random event too. I get this all the time on my upper left thigh, I usually get it if I lift the leg too high, last time I got it I tried to lift my mom, it hasn't happen in a long time but I know it can happen anytime now, I always end up on the floor for about 15-20 minutes even 25 no lie.

It's not funny if you have dystonia. I have had generalized dystonia for 13 years that causes muscle spasms throughout my body. I'm glad that everyone still gets a good laugh at the pain I went through. It wasn't really a muscle spasm as much as it was something in my knee moving where it shouldn't be.
