@thelastman777 yes, just do the normal progression of activating the lever under water. The method shown was strickly for speed purposes :)

use double jump then pause the game, change the second weapon with O and then press start and Kratos will make another small jump, wich means Kratos made a triple jump. it always works...

I probably spent an hour my first time to. No big deal. It's fun to have a challenge. Look at Akheon's GOW2 Water Wheel puzzle skip and then you'll really be mad :)

Don't feel bad. IMO good puzzles should take a while. If not, then you might as well be playing Tiger's Bouncy Adventure (PS1 game)

Pull the lever, stall time, then swim to the next area. This alternate method is just to show some fun strategies. It is fun to bend the rules of the game and see what happens. Check out Akheon's vids for more of that :)

my game must be messed up then because when i get done grappling and get to through the gate area, the next room is just a blinding light and i die when i go through it and i hit restart from last check point, but it just sits there and loads and never comes up.

Probably because the loading cue is not activated. This is most obvious when attempting the swim glitch.

Excellent find. For optimal speed you could have jumped over the big button on the floor that causes the ladder to appear, but I realize that wasn't the point of your vid.

Why ddidn't yo use high jump at 1:08 to get to opened gate?

The upper area leans out over the bottom area. I don't think a high jump would work. I tried it before and that upper edge stopped me since Kratos can't go through the floor.

BigVee, Akheon, and Shenminu have specific clips to demonstrate the high jump. IMO it is easier to understand by seeing it rather than just explaining it.

Does it bypass the first pillar? I'm sure that the 3rd pillar is vital though.
