Watched it again and I'll say it again,,,crappy take-off! No collective control, and dont ever set it down with that lack of finesse' cause you'll eventually get into ground resonance(poor collective control with a fully articulated rotor system, not like R22). R22's cant get into ground resonance, and I wouldnt fly one anyway. Lets also look at the pilots lack to compensate for translading tendancy as he wobbled the pick-up. Did no one notice that as well?
the Ecurueil ist a little bit nervous in Groundeffect, due the Rotorsystem.
He did a Hover Check, an then go out in the Translation.
And when you got in Groundeffect, you must take the heli away from ground. thats the fastest Way to get away from the vibrations, if i understand you right...
@constionsti He wasnt in ground resonance so what purpose does lifting off so crappy serve? I bet if you talked to the pilot he would even admit it wasnt his best performance.
sorry, i meant the groundRESONANCE in my third part of the text.
Yes, ok, it was a little bit "fast" but i seen much "crappier" Takeoffs, Real life and on Videos...
unfortanetly i dont have any expirience flying an AS350. but i heard that from many pilots, wich fly these types day in day out with more than 50m long line.
i see also, that "more experience" Pilot dont do any hoverchecks ore something. that is creepier for me, than that "uncontrollated" Take Of
Im undergoing heli aircrew training and hope to have 300 hours or so in the next 6months with basic medical course. What are the chances on getting a job in france with this or even europe

Oh man that was a horrible pick up! Easy on the collective. When he catches a skid one day he'll slow those pickups down.
