As they are federal officers, they cannot enforce state or local ordinances. For instance, they cannot arrest you for theft, usless its from a federal facility, nor can they issue things like traffic citations.

Also, those FBI Police officers have full jurisdiction anywhere in Washington DC, the city where FBI headquarter building is, and yes, they can arrest you and give u a ticket on the street.

well good luck man, its difficult to get into, you have to have connections and be able to overcome several obstacles, especially to be an agent. Also it doesnt pay. Finally, you have to retire eventually, so it's not a guaranteed career. You have to do what they say. Actually language majors are important. Did you watch body of Lies? he was an arabic studies major.
I know it has some down falls but i just want to bust real criminals. ive had 4yrs spanish so that might help. i haven't seen body of lies but i guess i should check it out. thanks.
