  • Season 1-3...the good, the bad, the ugly of Stringer Bell

  • 1:26 Cracks me up how he says "Wat da fuck"

  • Comment removed

  • Stringer was such a genius in season 1. What the fuck did they do...

  • Deep down Avon knew his nephew was weak but blood thicker than water.

  • Nobody knows the name of the song?????

  • Its like this man. U play the game, its gonna play you back. U not going to play it and be perfect forever

  • Whats the name of the song ??

  • AVON = 1 of the best characters ever made for TV!

  • ...the song is pretty fly. Anyone know what it is?

  • I think it would have been better if they gave Marlo a little bit of personality

  • @BigBlunt75 Hell no!! That would have ruined the whole character. Marlo was similar to the devil. No emotion No remorse just cold blooded and sneaky

  • the song sounds like mos def... i dunno... someone out there must know what the name is.

  • what show is this\

  • @yruegas97 The Wire... the best show most of America never heard about.

  • WHAT. IS. THAT. SONG?!

  • i been looking for a link to avon holding meeting after bey gets shot, and he puts madd money on omar anybody know?

  • imo the show was so much better before Marlo came and ruined the vibe

  • @Rayman77792 Marlo ruined the vibe? Marlo was a great character.

  • did anybody figure out what song is playing in the backround?

  • the wire is the best show period. the funny thing is that the game is universal there is zero specifics that it looks for. come to the bay area(nor cal) and this shit is a part of living

  • Lol they're discussing the couch.

  • man i was rooting for the criminals the enitre time. when first saw string say "tear out them motherfucker" i was like "yeah string figured out your game you fucking pigs"....lol.

  • this show was SO fucking good! great writing and acting. so many other shows are bullshit. finally something real, and really good. i wanted to cry when it ended...thanks for making quality tv!!!

  • The amount of British actors playing American gangsters and cops in the Wire is amazing.. dunno how they get the accents down like that.

  • @SheffieldUK1984 I think it's the talent. You don't see enough American actors nailing another accent. However, the Brits are quite good at it.

    Idris and Dominic are awesome.

  • @danielhiryu Yup. Only two actors in the entire show. Great point.

  • i love that death stair stringer gives d at 3:00 hes liek " thats how business is done youngin"

  • Whats the song in the background?

  • Unlucky Lester...lol.

  • Yea if you know the song post it, i wanna know the title too. The part at 0:53.....real nice

  • Dumb ass Avon if he could have flipped it like Tony Soprano he wouldn't been in half that mess

  • @BigPostal u mean dumb ass nephew

  • At least Stringer was smart

  • If they leave Stinkum but he get knocked wit 40K why in the fuck u dont switch up completely and ditch the beepers, phones, and talk face to face only lol Its clear as day that the cops is on you

  • as smart as they were, this scene shows just how they weren't smart enough....stink gets popped, they arrested the kid and leave stinkum, dont take the plates....obviously their under surveillance....but its some big puzzle to them lol

  • i cant wait to be in the next movie

  • what song is that playing in the background?

  • @guitarslayer17

Same here! What IS THAT SONG?!!!

  • Avon (Wood Harris) is in Paid In Full, he plays Ace (lucky).

  • you can really hear stringer's acent when he say "trear out them phones"

  • anyone know the name of the song playing

  • that "what the fuck?" at 1:28 kills me lol

  • @JDJT96 I know what you mean man, no one can say "wtf" like Ayyy-von

  • I GOTTA KNOW WHAT SONG THAT IS

  • god, bey was cool, wish he had stayed out of prison and ran things with stringer in S2 and 3

  • Hey look its nate robinson! oh wait, its wee-bey.

  • has anyone found out the song in the background?

  • is the dude in the plad mehki phifer

  • @Usama600 no

  • dude in red be looking like a young RAKIM haha

  • weebay my fav actor

  • stringer was smart and just for sure that service interrupted at the police station ol nasty cops man this is the best show ever man i love the wire the last two days i been free on extra time i been taking an hour or so and reviewing these episodes i got to get all seasons on dvd but season 3 was fi but then again all were the best but if avon wouldve kept stinkum and wee bay and bird boy marlo and snoop and chris wouldve been demolished but stringer was jealous of d but d did snitch 4 wallace

  • "Who's snitchin'?" Avon looks so cold during that line.

That song that plays during this scene is awesome. What is it?

  • In Season One is when the Barksdale were at their most powerful. When they acquired the services of Slim Charles in season 3, he bought along with him a lot of incompetent, inept, and bad muscle. When Avon and String had Stink, Weebay, and Savino running shit, they were tight. In Season 3 the only people they could rely on were Sting, Slim Charles Shamrock, Poot and Bodie. Every other nigga that worked for them in season 3 was just braindead stupid.

  • @lildwayne21 Marlo had already recruited the best talent in town while Avon was in jail.

  • No shit. Tell me something else I don't know 504Diva. Come on Ma........was that worth sending me a reply over.

  • @lildwayne21 Yeah. B/C u seemed 2 be asking WHY. David Simon spoke on dealers becoming more ruthless over time. While Avon was in jail, times changed but he did not.. When he got out, he clung to his old business plan & hired the same type of guys. But the street was more ruthless. But, HE COULD HAVE HIRED THEM IF HE WANTED. He just did not see the need. He was up against a crew that had nothing to loose and wanted his crown. They went for broke. They had to, going 4 Avon. K.

  • Just enjoy the video 504Diva.

  • LOL. Dude, u have SIX responses on this vid alone. U should take u'r own advice.

  • lol@504

  • not sapper, he was ready to ride

  • Cutty was good until he gave up the game

  • @lildwayne21 Everbody you mentioned was ok except for Shamrock. He ended up snitching in Season 3 when all of Avon's people who were in the house got locked up in that raid.

  • Haha. When Stringer told them they had to walk a few blocks to use a payphone, D'Angelo was like, he's talking to ya'll (Bodie and Poot), not me. D was such a G

  • This show was like a pressure cooker and every scence, episode and every season pressure got turned up just a little more. Greatest show ever

  • yea this and One Tree Hill are up there

  • and omar ...

  • not true everyone was scared of marlo season 3 and 4 times... only person tryna get at him was avon

  • marlo didn't scare anybody, people feared chris. marlo isn't doing any time but he's dead on the streets. Avon is locked up but he's still respected marlo let it be known his name meant everything, and the fact that nobody fared him anymore showed he lost.

  • Yo I can agree, avon was a nicer dude and his crew was "tighter" than Marlos but the sad thing with the game is that it can't be played like that, he was too nice/weak. Stringer went behind his back and now he is doin time. Point is you gotta run it like Marlo did keeping them niggaz in fear. It's sad but that's the way it works, you gotta whack some to keep the respect and have real ruthless muscle like Chris&Snoop otherwise they gonna conspire and u will fall. Marlo aint doin time aint he?

  • Somebody please find this song

  • what is the name of the song in the background

  • o men the barksdale organization was way better then the stanfield organization men. barksdales crew was just str8 up gangsta: avon was the man, along with stringer, wee-bey, bird, savino, stinkum and rest of them. they were simply the best

  • @roffawestm

You say they were "str8 gansta" as if that's something good. These people made a living out of the misery of others, they all deserve to burn in hell. D'Angelo was the only good person in the whole crew.

  • @thestranger4812 d'angelo was coddled and selfish

  • Stinkum was an underrated character on the Wire. The boy's swag was sick and he did show flashes or brilliance during his time on the show

  • my crew, we tight! aight!!!!!!!!!

  • does anyone know the name of the rap artist /music/song in this scene

  • it's nas, do a lyric search

  • @gza2k7 you got to help me more man! damn

  • whats the name of that song? i want that.

  • they shouldnt have killed stinkum he was cool as hell they shoulda kept bey, bird, savino and stink

  • @love4morrigan that would subtract from the reality of the show...lieutenants and muscle hitters like them are fun to watch because they're so caught up in the game, but as a side to that, they're the first to go; dead or locked up

  • @love4morrigan they didnt kill him. omar wiped him out with the shot gun

  • @love4morrigan stink got lit up by omar dude

  • @love4morrigan thats just how realistic this show was lol anyother show would keep the characters for better business but the creators wanted to make this shit as real as possible

  • "Nigga I don't know"

  • Avon need a moustache trim fa real!

  • Stringer bell... Stringer bell, that motherfucker was smart!

  • Stringer thought three steps ahead of everybody-lol!!! Did you see the way he looked out the corner of his eye towards the phone.

  • smartest character on the whole show, only second to Chris in terms of intellect

  • I want dat couch....dey should put it on Ebay lol
