this was actually written by the troggs but jimi hendrix had the most famous cover of it. btw yes you can do this with bar chords but it sounds a little different.

I've been practicing for about a year and a half now and I sort of suck less than I did when I first started. I'm taking private lessons but my instructor insists on guitar exercises after guitar exercises. It's a great help but at the same time I want to have some fun as well. Your instructions have shown me just that. It's easy lessons and I feel like I'm beginning to sound like an actual guitar player. Thanks so much for doing this.

yeah. most people never use nylon strings. they are for people who's finger hurt after pressing down on steel strings. but the steel strings have a better sound quality

Make sure you're using your fingertips, close to but not on (slightly above) the fret (metal bar accross the neck) and push down hard.
