Don't you just love it when people think they know better when they actually know nothing. Little tip for all guitarists. Never use the word wrong. There can be different arrangements for songs. This is a beginner arrangement so that beginners can play the song. Don't be put of by idiots who think they know better, they just show their stupidity, then again with over 5 million youtube views - what do I know. Thanks John S

Wild Thing" is a hit song written by New York City-born songwriter Chip Taylor and originally recorded by The Wild Ones in 1965.[1] The song is best known for its 1966 cover by the English band The Troggs, which reached the number one spot on the Billboard Hot 100 in July 1966. The song charted one position lower in Britain, reaching #2. Jimi Hendrix played this song a bit different. but it is an easy tune that's fun to play. thanks for your time and lesson. Peace Joe
You have the best tutorials on all of youtube for begginer guitarist I really do thank you for what your doing and I hope you contiune ... and are you british?
this was actually written by the troggs but jimi hendrix had the most famous cover of it. btw yes you can do this with bar chords but it sounds a little different.

I've been practicing for about a year and a half now and I sort of suck less than I did when I first started. I'm taking private lessons but my instructor insists on guitar exercises after guitar exercises. It's a great help but at the same time I want to have some fun as well. Your instructions have shown me just that. It's easy lessons and I feel like I'm beginning to sound like an actual guitar player. Thanks so much for doing this.
Just started playing and still getting to grips with everything and so far ive learned horse with no name from you and this. No-ones videos match you easiness and clarity thanks alot mate ;)
yeah. most people never use nylon strings. they are for people who's finger hurt after pressing down on steel strings. but the steel strings have a better sound quality

"Done by Jimi Hendrix and ,,,,,".
No its done by REG PRESLEY ( THE TROGGS ), and covered by sooooo many.
Included Jimi in his famous burn guitar at the Monterey Pop Festival in 1967.
Right is right. And its NOT a piece of music to be held a lesson for.
Reg once said, "This can be played by anyone, whos interested in guitarplaying. If not , change your hobby". Yeah, sing the song bro.

The Troggs play the third option, but at the beginning they play something different, and they countinue playing the third options.
but waht are they playing? I Think it's a few down strokes, but I'm not sure.
