i drive an r6 09.. more racing style.. looking for a new helmet to match my new bike.. =S hard to find one.. already had an shoei rf- 1100, it was ok, but i dont know. thought about trying gp-tech, i dont like the design and look of the arai helmets.. so AVG would be my next choice
Bought the helmet, and i'm very happy with it =) this comes with a mouth cold protection i guess, but i don't have a clue how to install it. Or maybe this is not a mouth cold protection and it is something else and i really don't know what it is.. :X
Can you help me and give me a tip? Thank you ! [[]]
Im having my new Ti-tech now. Dart version. Verry nice looking helmet. But is it correct that the visor is a bit hard to get open in the beginning? Pinlock or not, it takes pritty strenght to get it open en than It fly's open (you can see it in the video too). Thanks.
I had an agv x-vent, agv top helmet before this and i haded it for 7 years. the sponge of the top of the head (interior) start to decompose. and the neckpad becomes all ripped off due to rub on the jacket, and it is not replaceable. I bought another visor due to the links broke up. but it have 7 years. Now i bought an arai rx7 rr5 and i am very happy with it.
The Visor is so easy to remove and replace. Comes with clear visor and about 5 tare off race sheilds. Very comfortable, easy to swivel head left to right by force with Ohgio backback, but arrow dynamics of the exterior shell makes it tuff when riding for a several hours to check for blind spots. "Major concern is the chin strap
Yes, I understand and know how to work all the venting technology. The chin straps mechanism that goes through the two "D" rings is two long and scracthes the neck and pushing speeds 80-90 on the highways, the whiping begins to hurt.(Fully fastend) Im fairly a new rider; but I think its accurate to say that this helmet should be used for street and race only, not if your touring or ridding for several hours.
On a GSXR 750 I traveled From cali to AZ, TX, NM, to the Grand Canyon, Back through AZ, NV, CA. I have a Ti Tech helmet, which fits very well, and during the trip it was very annoying because of excessive airflow or just plain LOUD. I had to bye a bottle of Advil.
Then you need a L for the Ti-tech. The ti-tech uses other helm sizes than other AGV helmets. I measured my head and it was 59 cm (L). I had a AGV GP1 in L, but now Im having an Ti-tech and I needed an XL.
Hey, i just bought a new agv k-series helmet before 2 dayz,i took the visor off and now i can't put it back on,can u make a review about agv k-series,including the visor removal and ventilation holez plz??
Btw very nice review ,keep it up!! agv is 1 on the 5 top helmets on the market, right?? thx!!
bell is shit u should try to return it if u can they cant even make bicycle helmets how can u trust there helmets they might be snell and dot aproved but they only meet minium standards.. i alwys get shoei and agv and also i have one icon the latest one for 2009
I wear an XL in the Arai RX-7 Corsair and Shoei X-11, but have found that Suomy helmets (and maybe all Italian helmets) are sized a bit small as the Suomy XL did not fit me properly, what size in the ti-tech would you suggest? XXL?
They do run just a bit smaller than the Arai. Start with the xxl and you may need to purchase some interior pads to tune the fit. Good chance it will be spot on for you
Hey guys, just wanted to say love all the video reviews you guys do, especially on helmets and jackets. Im definately digging this AGV Ti-Tech, but i saw on AGV's website they are coming out with the new GP-Tech and i was wondering if there were plans for a video review for that helmet...love to hear some feature/benefits on AGV's new top dog. Thanks guys, and keep the awesome reviews coming.
The Shoei has basically a more intermediate fit. The Shoei line will fit most very well. If you know you are a long oval fit then this may not be the helmet line for you.
@mvspeed101 I have an oval shaped head and the Shoei X-11 fit me best, I tried on all the Arais and it felt like I was suffocating in those things. I had to go up a size just to breathe. The Shoei felt like it was custom made for me
which is better, this or the GP-tech?

What would your choice between this Helmet, the AGV Stealth or the Shark RSR2 be best for Street riding only.
Looking for less wind noise preferably and a good safety helmet.
Using Sharp Safety Helmet to compare most of them..
Also does the AGV Stealth come with the Chin Curtain?

@absnuno It's a Wind Protector, also called a chin curtain. All you need to do is slide it into place.

Hard to say for sure. There are many good quality helmets on the market today. I would ask what type of riding are you going to do in it?

well i ride a suzuki hayabusa and for now i got HJC-FS-10 carbon helmet and i like it cause it is light weight only 900 gram...

If money is of no concern, I strongly recommend BMW's SportIntegral Carbon... it may be difficult to get a hold of if you live outside of Europe.

Hi. I was wondering. I currently have an AGV Stealth and am looking at a Ti-Tech. Do they both run true to size?
Nosteratees 2 years ago
I use a medium in both. I will say the TiTech offers a tighter more race style fit then the Stealth
Sportbiketrackgear 2 years ago
How does the fit of the Ti Tech compare to the Shoei X-11? The Shoei X-11 fits my head perfectly in a medium. Thanks

Hi, I have seen the reviews of your Shark rsr2. I have an oval and thin and small head, will the shoei, shark og agv fit me well?
jobeme001 3 years ago
For this head shape it is hard to beat the Arai Profile. We suggest this to all the long oval as it is the very best fit for this head shape
Sportbiketrackgear 3 years ago
If you know you are a long oval I would suggest the Arai Profile for the best fit.

I am interested to know if AGV helmets fit like Shoei's (designed for more 'rounded' heads) instead of oval shaped ones

The Shoei has basically a more intermediate fit. The Shoei line will fit most very well. If you know you are a long oval fit then this may not be the helmet line for you.
