I'm not sure if I understand your question but I'd like to raise a point. Jews moved out of "Palestinian" land, more specifically Gaza, in 2005 as an attempt to start some sort of peace. We see where that got us. As for Christians and Jews living under Muslim rule, they lived under what is called Dhimmi. They had to pay the Muslim government high taxes and were not given the same rights as the Muslims. They were limited in many aspects of their daily lives.

He was put in prison in Israel, but was released because he was associated with PLO, so he was released on the basis that PLO is not a terrorist organization, but a legitimate political movement.
