Love your Vid's but feel you oversimplify here. It is not black and white. There is some manipulation and some freedom in the markets.
There is corruption but there also exists the fact that with the model of capitalism, those who are rich, regardless of corruption or influence will maintain or increase their wealth.
Obviously that model is unsustainable as ultimately we will have a few extremely wealthy and a majority of debt slaves.. and there the system falls apart (we are here)
Some freedom in the markets does not = a free market.
Unfortunately the "free market" model is such that even a little manipulation can destroy it, as we are witnessing.
The model of capitalism says that investments come from savings - so if someone does increase their wealth, there's nothing wrong with that because it's their own savings! The problem we have is that the government intervened and helped to create all these large corporations, killing the free market of competition.

The uptake of CO2 by trees, soil and ocean takes something like 3 times longer than it does for us to put it into the air clearing land, using coal and petrol, etc. We should concentrate on innovation to make our civilisation run on less power and water. And giving women world-wide access to proper contraception will not only reduce population slowly but less poor will pull down the last forests we have.

The argument has gone from constructive to corrupted. I do believe there is more that can be done to reduce consumption, pollution, etc...and to promote self-sufficiency and sustainability on a wider scale. But, big government is not the answer.

I agree...and what of a plan to reduce emission of CO (Carbon-Monoxide). Nope. Instead of suggesting that we move forward towards energy independence and away from oil and other fuels, we got the cash for clunkers program.
The internal combustion engine has a place in this world but it has reached its' endpoint of efficiency and efficacy for use in mobility and basic energy consumption of the individual.
There are better ideas that receive no ear marks.

You take a camera, plugged in to a screen, and point it at itself, you get an infinite hall of screens, a loop.. String theory, the theory that everything is made of small little rings, mini cycles.. I'm most concerned about the pollution of the oceans and rivers. Mercury levels in fish are reaching allarming rates. I'm not sure if global warming is man made, but the poisoning of the ocean certainly is. What shall we do about it? This is the question.

The mercury in fish, what fish is left and if you look into it we are eating what was considered "Garbage fish" because we have over fished! the low hanging fruit, Like Peak Oil we now have to go ever further & deeper because of resource depletion.
I know this is going to piss people off, but basically we are screwed. Too many people not enough resources. War is coming.

Please research HAARP. The paradox is that this government project and others being conducted by China and Russia to try to control weather are heating the ionosphere. Before we can talk about the effects of everyday human activity on global warming, we need to be asking the world governments why they are risking puncturing the ionospehere, which protects us from solar radiation. In fact, this is the subject matter of my next letter to my Congressional Representatives.

it is so hard to wake people up . a big x in the sky is just a cloud, ya the market crashed but it ,s all better now.I had to argue with an uncle once for a half hour over daylight saving, just to get him to understand you are only moving the clock not the sun. In the winter he was convinced that the sun went down sooner but came up at the same time in the morning.

Anybody who knows history and Science is aware the planet (Earth) goes through periods of Heat, then Ice ages, the last Mini Ice age ended 1850's. The Dinosaurs lived in a Hot time, that is one reason they got so damn big was the amount of O2 in the Atmosphere.
The problem is that we have accelerated natural occuring cycles, so yeah I am getting me a Tropical beach house off the Coast of Greenland in the future.

I really do not understand why people have diffuclty accepting the science on Global Warming which I think is very mild label for the Greenhouse effect.

Venus surface temperature is 800 degrees F, if it's gone up...well I wouldn't worry about it to much. Oh and btw that is caused by the Greenhouse effect.
Mars once had a warmer climate maybe warm enough for liquid water, so if the temp on Mars has gone up GREAT! then we go go to Mars to live once we turned the Earth into A microwave oven.
