Ottawa thanks for posting this stuff. This was my favorite Elvis show I've ever seen. Hey, Elvis came and sat right next to me after his set. I mean right next to me and then we moved up to the fourth row to watch Bob and about 15 minutes later we look to the left and who was there? Elvis.. Ha. Too much. Thanks so much again.
This is a truly great song. If you really want to die by a hundred shivers up your spine, however, seek out Brandi and Tiffany Carlile harmonising it.
I don't think that was really the right choice of song for him. Its meant for a woman to sing and Alison Krauss is Brilliant brilliant brilliaaannttt!!!!!! but Its meant to be about the bride being left a widow as far as I understood it...!? so why the hell is he singing it!
I think this was my favorite song he did that night. I was surprised by how much more amazing his voice was live that recorded. Thanks for recording these. I re-watch them all the time.
I have posted "Pardon Me Madam", "Sulpher To Sugar Cane", Alison and Scarlet Tide and I have 2 additional Tracks "Either Side of The Same Town" and Down Amoung the Wine and Spirits" that I will encode for upload. I open the Video Tracks in Peak Pro and finetune the audio then export to Divx for upload on my Mac so it takes a few minutes of effort but I will finish today.
Don't get me wrong, Bob Dylan still has his songs but Elvis was the star of show on that night! You could tell that he was engaged with the audience and loving what he was doing.
I got 99% of Love Sick before the friendly usher made me stop. I will get it ready for posting tonight. Had I known how aggressive they were going to be about Bob I would have shot all of Elvis. I did get 5 Complete tracks of Elvis put I was attempting to conserve battery and SD cardspace for Bob. I used a Canon TX-1 and I am pleased with results.
Great video I was there! By any chance do you have any of Bob's peformance? If you do I'd really appreciate it if you posted it. Someone did post a snippet from Blowing in the Wind and It Ain't Me Babe but there not the best quality.
I used this song on my new mix

We don't understand his real worth right now
