this is some old school 80's slap boxing...this would work if you were fighting over a bag of potato chips...not if someone was truly a threat to your life...lol
@Rapist87 that was us but your take on that bs needs glasses cause you can't beat people up moving backward and throwing one punch, a good hold and a weapons pull like i said think what you want
@FarisiDaniel Before the knife came out there was a funny punch up between K and Mr52, and it was obvious that inspite of the considerable size advantage of Big K he was losing, landing only a few innefective right hands compared with the several punches, a kick and a strong front headlock by Mr52. Eventually K steps out of the fight complaining that Mr52 is "running". I presume that was an accusation that he wasn't fighting, which basically means that K was unable to hit him due to his FOOTWORK
@Rapist87 let me see if I got this rtight I was there the kick didn't land the choke didn't choke he was scoped up twice you didn't see nice editing it's on the real footage, he gets punched we break he pulls we lost how where we from in a knuckle up you pull you're a sucka here is something you don't know we were taking the fight to the handball court before he pulled his toy that's what winner do
@FarisiDaniel The kick landed cleanly ( wasn't what you could call a "good" kick though ) the choke as you call it was actually a front headlock ( sometimes called an arm in guillotine) more of a controlling hold than a choke (unless you pull guard massively increasing leverage) and the punches landed by both men were nothing to write home about. At the end of the day though you can't deny Big K was out kickboxed ( although poorly) and out wrestled (again poorly) by a man half his size
@Rapist87 K caught the kick it never landed did you not notice the T shirt, which lead to the front head lock, arm in yes the un-edited version shows K lifting homie up off the ground twice, and the best punch was K's right hand
other than that the fight was pure gargabe and you heard that from us we get dinged because K didnt finish him which works for him oh well we're on to the next thing and oh boy
@Rapist87 Mr52 won that fight and he was actually using his 52B movements, while Big K looked out of balance and no 52b at all, none of the 52 elements, none of the fastest heavyweight in the world, none of the any of his videos using pickaboos, sad. Mr52 tricked Big K twice, kicked him, headlocked him, punched him and 52 bloqued him twice while leaving the danger zone with footwork...The blade? hey the other guys were inviting to dance in some video with flying blades.
@mangr12 If you read what I have written(in conversation with FarisiDaniel)you will see that I am in agreement with you,and although it is hard to argue that there was a clear winner(Big K steps out of the fight, then Mr52 pulls a blade instead of stepping back into it)I would say that in my opinion Mr52 "won" the fight from the footage shown.HOWEVER - didn't see much 52 though,I saw a kick(not 52)a front headlock(not 52)and some shit punches(maybe 52).Rahmel is also a knob(or seems to be)
@FarisiDaniel Shortly after that (at least on the video - there may be a time lapse between recordings ) the REAL running started. Yeah the dude pulled a knife, I would run away too, the difference is I wasn't posting videos of myself waving a knife and challenging the dude to a fight. Y'all did that, and then Y'all got your asses handed to you. It's on video - denying it makes you even more of a laughing stock. And anyway....Wasn't Ali a master of moving backwards while punching? Just a thought
@Rapist87 nice stab you actually got in more cuts than your man another point you missed the first vid wasn't released until atfer we had the fight he never saw the content we allowed all the footage to roll even the fight why cause we good with it like I said you think what you want LOL
@FarisiDaniel He aint my man, I got nothing to do with you or any 52 person, nor do I want to. I stumbled across the footage whilst looking at 52 out of interest. I always like to have a good look at a fighting art before making up my mind one way or the other. When I saw the fight it just confirmed what I already suspected - 52 is a steaming pile of poop. As for who saw what or said so to who.....who cares? You got your ass handed to you, either step up and go again or shut up and accept it
@Rapist87 you're too funny and no need to go into details here I like how you keep claiming an ass whooping, when barely a blow was landed on either side we don't defend the issue it is what it is like I said if you're so sure 52 is poop why spend the time telling me if you don't care seems like to me 52 is on your mind and every since I corrected you on boxing you have been waiting to throw jabs I welcome your respsonses continue or move on to better things either way thank you peace
@FarisiDaniel LOL, how did you "correct" me on boxing? By claiming that only one race/nation came up with the idea of punching? Honestly man I walked away from that conversation I wasn't even sure of what you were trying to say, seems that in your mind only one nation invented boxing all others copied it? Is that what happened with walking talking eating and fucking also? Why not....surely someone had to do it first right? Couldn't possibly happen EVERYWHERE there were people SIMUTANEOUSLY
@Rapist87 once again you missed the point you know what I'm saying the same way that math is taught some one proved it and other took it as truth to say that a punch is just a punch shows no understanding of boxing which throws the punches on the angle of the body the sweet science has been passed on from one to the next not starting all at the same time how so which each culture existed at different time periods so your logic is off peace
@FarisiDaniel Nothing to do with the fact that all the people all over the world had two arms two legs and a head then? Therefore squaring up to eachother and "putting up their dukes" would create an uncannily similar reference point all of them (wherever in the world they happened to be).Boxing is an art but it is not a scientific discovery like, say, the discovery of bronze or steel.ALL tribes had warriors and fighting arts and trained and passed them down father to son, all over the world
@Rapist87 that's like saying that all trees bare the same friut because they are trees. the Science of boxing started in the circle that became a square the first ring was 24 feet why if not a science did they do that the notion that any man with two hands can box like ALI is farfect to say it ain't going to happen hell only hand full of cats today can box like Tyson he won a lot of fights so why haven't other fighters followed because it's a hard style to master boxing is more that the hands
@FarisiDaniel Boxing as it is known today began to form with the introduction of the Marquess of Queensbury rules, gloves, timed rounds and weight divisions. This "form" of boxing was then spread around the world through colonisation by the western ( European ) superpowers of the age. Before then (and still in the areas they failed to colonise) were different forms of boxing. The point being that fistfighting is a condition common to ALL humans, boxing was/is just an agreed set of rules Fistfight
@Rapist87 Not so however I will give you Europe as the palce that kick started what we know today as boxing might you read about James Figgs who also studied Fencing and quarter staff from him you have Broughton's rules added the gloves, the round began then two but you left out Daniel Mendoza from North Africa a jew who some say is the father of Scientic boxing 1791 same time Bill Richmond was doing the same with defensive boxing in England his school opened in 1804
@FarisiDaniel So you agree that Europe is where boxing as we know it today began to take form, from the many different (though basically similar) forms or styles of fist fighting (whoever claimed them wherever they came from) as fighters were drawn to the ring by the promise of fame and fortune (or for many just clothes and a decent meal for their families). And that before the introduction of the Queensbury rules fistfighting was unregulated and took various forms in different regions?
@Rapist87 I would say that the London Prize fighting was the spear head but you should know that the sable school of self defense opene by Richmond was big in spread his style of boxing as he also became friends with Cribbs. Richmonds students went through Europe and America sharing the art so yes England which had no problems which Richmonds skin color during the early 1800's in the States boxing was still RnT on plantations
@FarisiDaniel And I think you will find that Mendoza was not from North Africa, but was born in East london, in Aldgate of all places which funnily enough is where I went to my first school many many years ago. Small world hey?
@Rapist87 You maybe right but he was a spardic jew and when the British took over that region of North Africa from Spain he traveled aboard. Indeed a small World see we can agree and have great discourse
@FarisiDaniel for competitors to compete with eachother on an even and supposedly "fair" playing field. The different forms of boxing thus began to harmonise into a single universally practiced style, which has grown and evolved into boxing as we know it today. Not all trees bear the same fruit, just as not all boxers favour the jab over the hook, but they are all trees and all boxers. Ali and Tyson were WORLD CHAMPIONS, not ordinary boxers. Their expressions of the art were masterful, and as
@FarisiDaniel I'm sure you know they were both VASTLY different fighters, but they did not claim to be "this" style or "that" style. They were boxers, and that is how they described themselves
@Rapist87 Indeed both claimed to be he best ALI the greatest of all times, and Tyson no man on earth could beat me. the Point I'm trying to make is gamesmendship is just that all boxers fighters believe that they are the best and some back it up you can not measure yourself with out challenges
@FarisiDaniel Yes it's true they both said these things, but neither of them claimed to have developed a new or secret style of Boxing, just to be the best at it - the world champion
@FarisiDaniel and that conversation began out of me taking an interest in 52 - I was initially intrigued and interested in the style ( I have researched and studied numerous forms of fist fighting over the last20 years and was wondering if I had found a new one) ,unfortunately it turned out that 52 is basically a bunch of guys all badmouthing eachother over who is the "true" 52 and that ALL OTHER FORMS of boxing are inferior spin offs of 52 ( now THATS funny). All in all it's a pity really
@Rapist87 52 i not a new style of Boxing but an old one like I told you boxing here in NA kick started with Bill Richmond as for what you see online with 52 you mised the Documentary where our elders talk about the art and the display of skill that some have as for the jaw jacking that's all game to gain attention which we all took part in however I teach men through the city and states take me up on the offer to view more clips and tell me has you have what you really think it does matter
@FarisiDaniel I have watched numerous clips on 52 over the last few weeks, and the most impressive individual ( in my humble opinion ) is the older gentleman going by the name Born Justice. He seemed both skilled and knowledgeable, and made no attempt ( at least in the footage I have seen of him) to claim superiority over any style or person. Infact he stated clearly that he believed 52 developed OUT OF BOXING during the kung fu boom of the 70s, therefore not the master art before all others
plus it's not about style its about can it work? THEN USE IT its not the technique its the man behind the technique. thats why i keep borning the truth to you that "EVERY MAN IS HIS OWN STYLE"
true indeed, but core knowledge can not be overlook to form style. You are what you eat... But that's a strong quote Brother... indeed in the highest form of 52 your "comments are truth" no need to explain
i think what people are not looking at is "HOW DO WE DEFINE 52 IN A FIGHT CATAGORY" MEANING HOW YOU WAN IT, 52 VERS 52, 52 VERS BOXING, 52 VERs ONE OF THE MARTIAL ARTS. because then the origin of 52 is important where it comes from and why?
that's one way of looking at it, another is 52 is formless, thus you don't adjust to them your make them adjust to you. Let the cards fall where they may. meaning whatever whenever. to switch lanes one must be free to create change (in the clip) K keeps time with my attack, then he change pace once i began to follow him
that is when he let lose. we (52) lead let the other cat catch up, then bang him out.
as for the opennings don't forget what you leave open to get it.
No doubt khashon, I hear that -good point. I have trained wit real 52 technicians and I cant knock your defensive tone cause u tryin to defend ya boy old school , new school its all about does one train? Everything is core and I just so happened to see alot open and I eat bodies. maybe it was the clip but props to him for doing his thing.
sifu talk is cheap, and you should know better coming from a martial artist. first thing is to respect your opponent. but obvously you never fought or practiced with a real 52 technician. big 'K' is taught by old-school and all we do is know how to fight and even if you was to beat him, he would keep coming at you and give you a hell of a run for ya money.
Your funny . very emotional also, I dont need to prove anything to anybody just like u right? maybe u feel u do, it sounds like u want someone to catch a case. Keep doing ya thing .
i learned this type of 52 from the god rondu "52" the enlightener when i was about 14, (1974)this move here is what made me wanna learn it (we called this the mill stepping like the defence you do in gang initiation.)
you walk or run through this chamber of hardknocks and blows without flintching and all you could possibly do is "BLOCK"
thanks for bringing it back big 'k' IF YOU NOTICE: OF ALL THE 1000s OF VIDEOs ON 52-OUT THERE NOT ONE PERSON EVER SHOWS THIS SECRET MOVE. OHH OHH GOTCHA!
We want to say thank you to everyone who came out to the event today, it was an excellent session with a group of positive practitioners. Again, thank you. More to come.
I recognize the mother arts of 52 had kicking emphasis, but i have not really seen enuf kick work in the current state of 52,to be on-par with other hand/kick arts out there today, mostly nice hands, now thats just my observation so i may be waay off, there may be occasional kicks but i c more of a chance to capitalize on opportunity than an intended set kick combo, or block and counter. hopefully if they are there they will be brought to light, if not 52 is still a jewel with the hands peace.
now the one point i have noticed that 5 suffers from (constructively here btw) is the lead leg lends itself to be banged by a "trained" low kick or caught by a good penetration step, all things that can be dealt with within the context of sparring and good strategy. once again nothing contains all the answers to every situation, each just lends itself to ur personal toolbox. and its important to note that self defense and a ring fight are two very seperate situations. for SD, i think itd be gr8
it shares common traits with other forms of accepted defenses currently used crazy monkey high guard (mma tito ortiz etc..) philly shell robbie lawler and uriah faber has begun to use it )floyd mayweather and zab judah in fact look up the new video 100 rounds 5 blocks with zab and floyd, the thinking man guard of keysi, tysons peekaboo, and my own which is filipino boxing. blocking with the elbows, limb destruction, aggresive offense using angles.
junior do you have any vids to post of u? not the ones you subscribed to but your own? r u a fighter? do you know the basic fundamentals of what makes a defense effective? 52 is boxing for the street, last i checked boxing forms are one of the most effective forms of combat out. add blocking with the elbow, tucking the chin, different types of peekaboo (archie moore, george foreman, floyd patterson, floyd mayweather, plus the basics of fluidity and timing,& u have an effective defense.
To be honest and I don't want into a racial debate but I have to state some facts, the origin of martial arts started in Africa. The natives studied various attack forms of animals and it eventaully spread and was perfected and mastered by the orientals. So 52 handblocks is deadly and a very unique fightign style, that's easy to learn!
no it's not. did you talk to one of these 52 crackheads? your info is completely wrong. and 52 "blocks" isn't effective period. again like i said, Bitch slapping at its finest.
Wide open for an experienced player. Check the mid section, the groin, and legs. in this clip. I appluad 52 boxers for their understanding of range and classic boxing tactics. Remember that styles from the Old Yang Tai chi forms included Crossbones, Elbows, shoulder and head strikes. NIce style and great supplimental training to include in any workout program.
Yeah, it's hard to find the book in stores any more. You should be able to pick up a copy on Amazon, otherwise you can find it in most public libraries, or e-mail me and I'll see what I can do. Peace.
the thing i like the most was the intigrated blocking and striking in the same movements. the strikes simply were there and the gaps within, the man in the Oklahoma jerseys, boxing. it is not only the quality but the very different approach and the dedication to the style. i know i am going to pick up a dvd and see more of what it is about.
What I like about this Big K dude, is, in his clips, he's moving forward. It seems like with this form, and the patterns they run with the blocks and traps, you would wanna move forward and keep it tight. Also, by keeping it tight, this guy puts himself in position for stuff like headbutts.
It's really got a strong "impose your will" component. With this shit, you're GONNA get in there. What you do once you're inside depends on the fighter.
i love watching 52 block stuff it is from such a different martial perspective that what you see even within close quater combat. i love this stuff and the stuff up on your page is a lot higher quality from some people are calling 52 blocks.
hey man this is i justran and pulled out my "street kingdoms" book and re read the part where k "squares off" with a shop lifter with skills . this is truly an amazing style
Amazing it get's better every time we use to slap box back in the day as a rites to passage for young black men in the hood here in cali but we didn't do nothing like that keep it up bro.
I noticed At: 0:30 sec. the left strike to tha mid section of Big K was blocked off with his left hand instinctively while still shielding off the blows the head.
Great job fellas! "52 Elementals" are in full and final effect.
Wut tha f...!!!!! Remarkable, I just caught a head rush! Are we having fun yet? Yup,...Tha movement gets better and better. "Demonstration Is Inspiration".

Rapist87 7 months ago
@Rapist87 nice stab you actually got in more cuts than your man another point you missed the first vid wasn't released until atfer we had the fight he never saw the content we allowed all the footage to roll even the fight why cause we good with it like I said you think what you want LOL
FarisiDaniel 7 months ago
@FarisiDaniel He aint my man, I got nothing to do with you or any 52 person, nor do I want to. I stumbled across the footage whilst looking at 52 out of interest. I always like to have a good look at a fighting art before making up my mind one way or the other. When I saw the fight it just confirmed what I already suspected - 52 is a steaming pile of poop. As for who saw what or said so to who.....who cares? You got your ass handed to you, either step up and go again or shut up and accept it
Rapist87 7 months ago
@Rapist87 you're too funny and no need to go into details here I like how you keep claiming an ass whooping, when barely a blow was landed on either side we don't defend the issue it is what it is like I said if you're so sure 52 is poop why spend the time telling me if you don't care seems like to me 52 is on your mind and every since I corrected you on boxing you have been waiting to throw jabs I welcome your respsonses continue or move on to better things either way thank you peace
FarisiDaniel 7 months ago
@FarisiDaniel LOL, how did you "correct" me on boxing? By claiming that only one race/nation came up with the idea of punching? Honestly man I walked away from that conversation I wasn't even sure of what you were trying to say, seems that in your mind only one nation invented boxing all others copied it? Is that what happened with walking talking eating and fucking also? Why not....surely someone had to do it first right? Couldn't possibly happen EVERYWHERE there were people SIMUTANEOUSLY
Rapist87 7 months ago
@Rapist87 once again you missed the point you know what I'm saying the same way that math is taught some one proved it and other took it as truth to say that a punch is just a punch shows no understanding of boxing which throws the punches on the angle of the body the sweet science has been passed on from one to the next not starting all at the same time how so which each culture existed at different time periods so your logic is off peace
FarisiDaniel 7 months ago
@FarisiDaniel Nothing to do with the fact that all the people all over the world had two arms two legs and a head then? Therefore squaring up to eachother and "putting up their dukes" would create an uncannily similar reference point all of them (wherever in the world they happened to be).Boxing is an art but it is not a scientific discovery like, say, the discovery of bronze or steel.ALL tribes had warriors and fighting arts and trained and passed them down father to son, all over the world
Rapist87 7 months ago
@Rapist87 that's like saying that all trees bare the same friut because they are trees. the Science of boxing started in the circle that became a square the first ring was 24 feet why if not a science did they do that the notion that any man with two hands can box like ALI is farfect to say it ain't going to happen hell only hand full of cats today can box like Tyson he won a lot of fights so why haven't other fighters followed because it's a hard style to master boxing is more that the hands
FarisiDaniel 7 months ago
@FarisiDaniel Boxing as it is known today began to form with the introduction of the Marquess of Queensbury rules, gloves, timed rounds and weight divisions. This "form" of boxing was then spread around the world through colonisation by the western ( European ) superpowers of the age. Before then (and still in the areas they failed to colonise) were different forms of boxing. The point being that fistfighting is a condition common to ALL humans, boxing was/is just an agreed set of rules Fistfight
Rapist87 7 months ago
@Rapist87 Not so however I will give you Europe as the palce that kick started what we know today as boxing might you read about James Figgs who also studied Fencing and quarter staff from him you have Broughton's rules added the gloves, the round began then two but you left out Daniel Mendoza from North Africa a jew who some say is the father of Scientic boxing 1791 same time Bill Richmond was doing the same with defensive boxing in England his school opened in 1804
FarisiDaniel 7 months ago
@FarisiDaniel So you agree that Europe is where boxing as we know it today began to take form, from the many different (though basically similar) forms or styles of fist fighting (whoever claimed them wherever they came from) as fighters were drawn to the ring by the promise of fame and fortune (or for many just clothes and a decent meal for their families). And that before the introduction of the Queensbury rules fistfighting was unregulated and took various forms in different regions?
Rapist87 7 months ago
@Rapist87 I would say that the London Prize fighting was the spear head but you should know that the sable school of self defense opene by Richmond was big in spread his style of boxing as he also became friends with Cribbs. Richmonds students went through Europe and America sharing the art so yes England which had no problems which Richmonds skin color during the early 1800's in the States boxing was still RnT on plantations
FarisiDaniel 7 months ago
@FarisiDaniel And I think you will find that Mendoza was not from North Africa, but was born in East london, in Aldgate of all places which funnily enough is where I went to my first school many many years ago. Small world hey?
Rapist87 7 months ago
@Rapist87 You maybe right but he was a spardic jew and when the British took over that region of North Africa from Spain he traveled aboard. Indeed a small World see we can agree and have great discourse
FarisiDaniel 7 months ago
@FarisiDaniel No he was an English Jew born in England in London if not Aldgate, but I believe he did have ancestry in Spain
Rapist87 7 months ago
@Rapist87 you are correct looked over my notes his family were Sephardi Jews
FarisiDaniel 7 months ago
@FarisiDaniel for competitors to compete with eachother on an even and supposedly "fair" playing field. The different forms of boxing thus began to harmonise into a single universally practiced style, which has grown and evolved into boxing as we know it today. Not all trees bear the same fruit, just as not all boxers favour the jab over the hook, but they are all trees and all boxers. Ali and Tyson were WORLD CHAMPIONS, not ordinary boxers. Their expressions of the art were masterful, and as
Rapist87 7 months ago
@FarisiDaniel I'm sure you know they were both VASTLY different fighters, but they did not claim to be "this" style or "that" style. They were boxers, and that is how they described themselves
Rapist87 7 months ago
@Rapist87 Indeed both claimed to be he best ALI the greatest of all times, and Tyson no man on earth could beat me. the Point I'm trying to make is gamesmendship is just that all boxers fighters believe that they are the best and some back it up you can not measure yourself with out challenges
FarisiDaniel 7 months ago
@FarisiDaniel Yes it's true they both said these things, but neither of them claimed to have developed a new or secret style of Boxing, just to be the best at it - the world champion
Rapist87 7 months ago
@FarisiDaniel and that conversation began out of me taking an interest in 52 - I was initially intrigued and interested in the style ( I have researched and studied numerous forms of fist fighting over the last20 years and was wondering if I had found a new one) ,unfortunately it turned out that 52 is basically a bunch of guys all badmouthing eachother over who is the "true" 52 and that ALL OTHER FORMS of boxing are inferior spin offs of 52 ( now THATS funny). All in all it's a pity really
Rapist87 7 months ago
@Rapist87 52 i not a new style of Boxing but an old one like I told you boxing here in NA kick started with Bill Richmond as for what you see online with 52 you mised the Documentary where our elders talk about the art and the display of skill that some have as for the jaw jacking that's all game to gain attention which we all took part in however I teach men through the city and states take me up on the offer to view more clips and tell me has you have what you really think it does matter
FarisiDaniel 7 months ago
@FarisiDaniel I have watched numerous clips on 52 over the last few weeks, and the most impressive individual ( in my humble opinion ) is the older gentleman going by the name Born Justice. He seemed both skilled and knowledgeable, and made no attempt ( at least in the footage I have seen of him) to claim superiority over any style or person. Infact he stated clearly that he believed 52 developed OUT OF BOXING during the kung fu boom of the 70s, therefore not the master art before all others
Rapist87 7 months ago
Don't be too quick to diss 52. It's used in jails and on the streets so it has a reputation for effectivness.
Look this clip up on youtube. A guy mentions 52:

plus it's not about style its about can it work? THEN USE IT its not the technique its the man behind the technique. thats why i keep borning the truth to you that "EVERY MAN IS HIS OWN STYLE"
professorkhashon7 2 years ago
true indeed, but core knowledge can not be overlook to form style. You are what you eat... But that's a strong quote Brother... indeed in the highest form of 52 your "comments are truth" no need to explain

you doing shit from Chinese martial arts bro...
worldworks 2 years ago
you could also say its from Indian, Indonesian, Philippine, African, etc... All related but where did it start?
omnidrago 2 years ago
i think what people are not looking at is "HOW DO WE DEFINE 52 IN A FIGHT CATAGORY" MEANING HOW YOU WAN IT, 52 VERS 52, 52 VERS BOXING, 52 VERs ONE OF THE MARTIAL ARTS. because then the origin of 52 is important where it comes from and why?
professorkhashon7 2 years ago
that's one way of looking at it, another is 52 is formless, thus you don't adjust to them your make them adjust to you. Let the cards fall where they may. meaning whatever whenever. to switch lanes one must be free to create change (in the clip) K keeps time with my attack, then he change pace once i began to follow him
that is when he let lose. we (52) lead let the other cat catch up, then bang him out.
as for the opennings don't forget what you leave open to get it.
peace

No doubt khashon, I hear that -good point. I have trained wit real 52 technicians and I cant knock your defensive tone cause u tryin to defend ya boy old school , new school its all about does one train? Everything is core and I just so happened to see alot open and I eat bodies. maybe it was the clip but props to him for doing his thing.
SifuSmasher1 2 years ago
sifu talk is cheap, and you should know better coming from a martial artist. first thing is to respect your opponent. but obvously you never fought or practiced with a real 52 technician. big 'K' is taught by old-school and all we do is know how to fight and even if you was to beat him, he would keep coming at you and give you a hell of a run for ya money.
professorkhashon7 2 years ago

i learned this type of 52 from the god rondu "52" the enlightener when i was about 14, (1974)this move here is what made me wanna learn it (we called this the mill stepping like the defence you do in gang initiation.)
you walk or run through this chamber of hardknocks and blows without flintching and all you could possibly do is "BLOCK"
thanks for bringing it back big 'k' IF YOU NOTICE: OF ALL THE 1000s OF VIDEOs ON 52-OUT THERE NOT ONE PERSON EVER SHOWS THIS SECRET MOVE. OHH OHH GOTCHA!

I recognize the mother arts of 52 had kicking emphasis, but i have not really seen enuf kick work in the current state of 52,to be on-par with other hand/kick arts out there today, mostly nice hands, now thats just my observation so i may be waay off, there may be occasional kicks but i c more of a chance to capitalize on opportunity than an intended set kick combo, or block and counter. hopefully if they are there they will be brought to light, if not 52 is still a jewel with the hands peace.
haumana2000 3 years ago
now the one point i have noticed that 5 suffers from (constructively here btw) is the lead leg lends itself to be banged by a "trained" low kick or caught by a good penetration step, all things that can be dealt with within the context of sparring and good strategy. once again nothing contains all the answers to every situation, each just lends itself to ur personal toolbox. and its important to note that self defense and a ring fight are two very seperate situations. for SD, i think itd be gr8
haumana2000 3 years ago
it shares common traits with other forms of accepted defenses currently used crazy monkey high guard (mma tito ortiz etc..) philly shell robbie lawler and uriah faber has begun to use it )floyd mayweather and zab judah in fact look up the new video 100 rounds 5 blocks with zab and floyd, the thinking man guard of keysi, tysons peekaboo, and my own which is filipino boxing. blocking with the elbows, limb destruction, aggresive offense using angles.
haumana2000 3 years ago
junior do you have any vids to post of u? not the ones you subscribed to but your own? r u a fighter? do you know the basic fundamentals of what makes a defense effective? 52 is boxing for the street, last i checked boxing forms are one of the most effective forms of combat out. add blocking with the elbow, tucking the chin, different types of peekaboo (archie moore, george foreman, floyd patterson, floyd mayweather, plus the basics of fluidity and timing,& u have an effective defense.
haumana2000 3 years ago
To be honest and I don't want into a racial debate but I have to state some facts, the origin of martial arts started in Africa. The natives studied various attack forms of animals and it eventaully spread and was perfected and mastered by the orientals. So 52 handblocks is deadly and a very unique fightign style, that's easy to learn!
chiladin 3 years ago
no it's not. did you talk to one of these 52 crackheads? your info is completely wrong. and 52 "blocks" isn't effective period. again like i said, Bitch slapping at its finest.

Peace.

the thing i like the most was the intigrated blocking and striking in the same movements. the strikes simply were there and the gaps within, the man in the Oklahoma jerseys, boxing. it is not only the quality but the very different approach and the dedication to the style. i know i am going to pick up a dvd and see more of what it is about.
be well
lifeinkansas 3 years ago
What I like about this Big K dude, is, in his clips, he's moving forward. It seems like with this form, and the patterns they run with the blocks and traps, you would wanna move forward and keep it tight. Also, by keeping it tight, this guy puts himself in position for stuff like headbutts.
It's really got a strong "impose your will" component. With this shit, you're GONNA get in there. What you do once you're inside depends on the fighter.
