  • only if you can't buy a Ford you go with Chevy is cheaper all day people I'm happy with my f150 ecoboost I got power :)

  • i got to drop a supercharger on my 5.4 to smokem like that! nice

  • nice burn out..... thinkin its time to update the ol '10 5.4 for one of these

  • Well I have to say, I have enjoyed most of the comments about the video, and some I really question lol. I am extremely suprised at the amount of views this quick clip has netted and thank you all for taking the time to check it out!

  • i sounds like a civic!!

  • It sounds like a civic... If that's what people like nowadays

  • @jeepbuddy16 Acually it sounds like a turbo V6, go look a Grand National there bud.

  • Bye bye warranty:-()

  • Comment removed

  • traction control off i presume?

  • Thats why I don't buy used trucks

  • Are some of you Chevy guys out there watching this video actually sitting there thinking trucks are for speed?! Comparing a 6.2l Chevy to a 3.5l Ford is funny at best...just shows how badass Ford is when it comes to engineering ;) Ford builds trucks for hard work and fuel economy.....If you actually want to go fast, then you might want to get a light car with a lot of power. Ecoboost is the future of gasoline powered engines.

p.s. not saying trucks are slow, but gearing/weight/power is off a bit

  • @Kpowerstroke your head is in your ass if you think a ecoshit can even take on a 6.2 chevy lol hahaha

  • Sick

  • chevy all day fuck ford

  • Eco would smoke the 6.2.

  • Mctsep

@Mctsep The 6.2 and eco are so close it comes down to all driver. Thats sad chev has hell of a time keeping up with a 3.5 v6.

  • Themrsours..... I have a brand new fx4 and i go to the track every few weeks i e seen ecos run 14.8s and 15.0s one exteded cab ran 14.6. Ive seen chevys 6.2 run 14.2a and 14.5s all day. Chevy 6.2 is the fastest truck made right now. FACT

  • @Mctsep Told like it is! GM 6.2 rocks! Having said that they get SHIT mileage, I would take the SHITTY sounding eco with great power and mileage... Ugh I am getting old

  • Nice!!! Ford is almost keeping up with silverados 6.2 vette enjine. Impressive

  • I love the idea and everything and itd be hard not to buy this truck with the ecoboost option because of the fuel mileage but i think id still have to go with the 5.0 i just cant not have that good ol v8 under the hood

  • does it have a posi rear end or is tht how it happened

  • I work for Ford and the 6.2 is a beast in the F-150 but I would go with the ecoboost in a FX4 truck and if I chose the Raptor the 6.2 which comes comes standard. The only drawback is the sound but who cares when you have 365 hp and 420 lbs. Fastest production truck they make right now....r.i.p. SVT Lightning ---darvell8 they are Borg warner turbos

  • I tested this truck when FORD was promoting it nationally & this big boy pulls! This would make a great engine for the 'Stang's line up too! However, this isn't the engine from the Taurus; I own a SHO & they're different animal: The SHO's block is aluminum & turbos from Honeywell @ 11psi. The F150's block is iron & turbos from Garrett @ 13.5psi.

  • every car today should come with a turbo. it increases your gas mileage. But oil companys said no it doesn't.

  • @jeremyelliott1 yeah cuz if all cars were turbo, that would take a decent chunk of cash out of the oil industry, wouldnt be much, but still

  • It's a twin turbo same engine they first came out with in the ford taurus i like ford trucks just dont like how they had to use turbos to me thats for them foreign ricers id go with the 6.2

  • @lightbud21 They use turbos to combine better fuel economy and power. Turbos are not for "them foreign ricers." Some of the fastest cars, aircraft engines, diesel engines, and much more stuff are powered by turbocharged power plants. The 6.2 is a great engine as well, all a matter of person preference I believe.

  • @spoolinpos Ya and im willing to bet the turbo's on those engines are much more advanced and for diesels from what ive seen thats the first major problem with trucks im just saying turbos make the engine work harder and with a v6 im just questioning how reliable its going to be

  • @lightbud21 You need to look up the stress test they did on this engine.. then get back too me and let me know what you think. They put 150k miles on the motor in around 400 hours and 2 or 3 other HARD tests and when they took the motor apart it passed with 100%.

  • @smalltownkid2004 Correct, they put this engine through some CRAZY tests. The videos of the testing are a really great watch, I highly recommend looking them up! The tear down and specs blew me away at the end lol.

  • @spoolinpos Lol it did me too man!. When I first read about the new V6 Engine I was kind of iffy about it just thinking great.. a hunk of junk. Boy was I ever wrong!. After watching that video and seeing the whole process and how it passed as a brand new engine after all the abuse.. It makes me want one of these trucks that much more!. Ford is on their game without a doubt.

  • @spoolinpos get a tuner= 65rwhp sct is the best (for mustangs idk about f150s)

  • @spoolinpos i agree with u on the turbos cause i have a twin turbo 92 mustang at it sounds nothin like a ricer.and whats bad is the ecoboost will smokea 6.2

  • @lightbud21

I have the 6.2 in my Super Duty and the 3.5 EcoBoost in our Flex... and I can tell you the EcoBoost ROCKS!!! There is NOTHING RICER about the EcoBoost!

  • @lightbud21 dumbest run on sentence i've ever seen.

  • @lightbud21 its all good, big rig diesels have turbos, whine, and boost....so no not just for ricers

  • @lightbud21 haha thats one of the most ignorant comments ive ever read on youtube... thats funny...the ecoboost will pull your's and your wife/sisters trailer no probelm i promise :)

  • @smotpoker15 Yeah because you'd know right you ever driven one? And nice try with the wife/sister trailer bullshit but I live in new york that would be a reasonable joke to a southerner and haven't ever lived in anything close to the size of a trailer so go smoke some more weed and come up with something a little better than that one

  • @lightbud21 No way the 6.2 doesn't compare to the Ecoboost. I have even been in a Raptor with the 6.2 and an aftermarket turbo on it and it still didn't compare.

  • @lightbud21 your a fucking idiot

  • @sideways88turbo good one don't think too hard next comment you might hurt yourself

  • @lightbud21 ? sorry thought that was about the most clearly i could point out your idiocracy

  • @lightbud21 Dont get a diesel then, since almost every diesel since the 80's have turbochargers. Same technology, different application.

  • duramaxxdean is mad. he is sad that this v6 will rape his diesel, and beat it in fuel economy

  • Congratulations

  • @arfbarg thank you.

  • No actually its not a single turbo, all V6 ecoboosts, whether its in a flex/taurus/F150 have twin turbos. each provide boost to seperate banks of the engine.

  • badass

  • its olny a single turbo

  • @DuraMaXXDean It's a twin turbo v6

  • @spoolinpos lol at trolls who think they know everything. do some fucking research before you open your mouth, otherwise youre gunna look dumb.

  • @DuraMaXXDean MINE HAS TWO TOO,READ.TWIN TURBO!!!chevy boy...

  • @Windupmancllutch its really a shitty twin parally turbo that has two compresser wheels,so they call it "twin turbos", but it olny has one exhaust wheel, so really its a single turbo, and to prove it if you have turbo problems if you have to replace something its all one unit on this truck. if it were twin turboed and you had turbo problems it could be either one that has the problem.SOOOOOOOO......... YEA GO BUY A DIESEL, FORD GASSER BOY

  • @DuraMaXXDean The truck doesn't have a sequential turbo set up like you have mentioned. They are two separate turbo chargers located on each side of the engine.

Also, I seen some videos you have commented on, Any idea what turbos that triple turbo truck has? That thing looks absolutely amazing haha, I'd love to know what turbos are used to feed that massive one.

  • @DuraMaXXDean What is parally....? You my friend know just enough to be dangerous. My truck has two individual turbos one for each cylinder bank.Twin turbo.Period. You are a moron.Deano

  • @DuraMaXXDean You haven't a clue, one turbo for each cylinder bank.Twin turbo. Not like an inline 6 sequential dual turbo setup one for bottom end one for top end.I never said it had anything but what it has twin turbos.Douschebag. I'll bet you've installed stacks on your oil burner to make up for the micro penis...

  • @DuraMaXXDean its Twin Turbo, one small turbo for each bank of 3 cylinders for more efficient and flowing torque/power bands. It is not set up like a diesel motor, its a true twin turbo, 2 turbos...I don't know much more clearer I can be lol

  • Looked way too easy! Nice

  • sounds like a ricer.. NOT good for a truck

  • @TheMudder90 A ricer? Ricers are noisy, slow pieces of shit...this truck? Neither.

  • Bad ass you just need a muffler... that thing is said to pull as hard as the 6.2

  • damn thats sweet

  • Is it tuned.

  • @gavin4ford It's not tuned, all stock.
