The video is great, but the music is not only not pleasing to many, but not from the era these cars were in. IF you're not going to have the music of the engines, then some pop/garage rock, britpop of the era might be more fitting. Even some straight ahead jazz.
Great video though, the most beautiful F1 cars ever, the Lotus 49 and that year's Ferrari, though one of my heroes, Lorenzo Bandini lost his life in one. Godspeed Lorenzo.
trop booooooo !!! 1967 etses célèbres F1 aux formes arachnéides !! Denny Hulme fut Champion du Monde cette année là !! Cela fut son 1er et unique titre mondial dans la discipline reine !
Very, very good vid. Really the music is fit in and i think people need films like this it' very very good. I like the old cars of F1 i can watch it all the time :P:P
Jim Clark won 4 races that year and lead the longest distance.Reliability robbed him of the title. He was last at Monza in 1967 due to trouble at the start, drove through the field and led.Would have won if not technical trouble.Dan Gurney was sadly never in a good car but won with the Eagle-Weslake at Spa.Jackie Stewart drove the horrible BRM H16,which was heavy and slow and dangerous according to Stewart.Rodriguez won with Cooper-Maserati.
I don't think they pushed as hard due to human instinct not to kill yourself!! but these guys were close to fearless. GPL and the more recent rFactor give simulation to show how deadly these cars were.
The limit was not pushed I assure you. Because even 0.001% over the limit meant certain death.
Hmm, well, you should see the movie "Grand Prix" then ;)Altough Grand Prix is set (and recorded) during the 1966 Championship and not the 67. Still an awsome movie :)
Nice! Jim Clark, Phil Hill, Dan Gurney, Jeff Brabham, Jackie Stewart, McLaren et al., and seeing the Track Workers close to the cars as they race. Formula One kicks it good. Odd seeing a Honda F1 win this past June. Imagine in 1967 hearing that in 40 years the Great American Indianapolis 500 Race would be ALL Japanese cars - No one would believe it and only laugh! Sadly, guess what?

This would be so sweet...if you didn't destroy one of the best features of 60's F1 cars with your crappy music. Way to defile a masterpiece.

I agree - I turned the sound off to make it go away.
