Dady saying grace before the meal..."

God bless that image for ever...

  • I am from south too, very far south, from Argentina, land of horses, cows and gauchos.

Its amazing how your way of life fits exacly in our contry men way of life too.

I live in the big city (against my will, i hate it) and i cant wait to go to mountains on vacations.

I feel at home there, simple people, simple life, grass everywhere, horses, foxes...

I guess my soul is born country too...

If God wants it, some day i will go to live there with family.

    Greetings from this asphalt jungle...

  • I was born in Louisiana but moved to California shortly after because of my fathers enlistment in the military. He was a country boy and raised me on country ideals and always played country, he always gave me the ability to shape my life. But then we moved back to Louisiana where I was born, I finally have the taste of country living and I want to expand it. And Alabama is a good start. The band that is.

  • @OkayWolf Go bowfishing, it's what all of us country bows are doing now a'days.

  • @OkayWolf expand it to the state of Alabama too! it's pretty nice over here :)

  • Roll on.

I was born in NL but i'll die in USA(definitely).. ( i HOPE)

  • @LauraEllaHughes I feel ya on that. I wasn't born country, but I was raised country. Bred on the morals and ideals of southern living. Country life is simple, and it beats through me. Wouldn't change a damn thing :D

  • I was born country and that's all I'll ever be!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was born in South Carolina and I'll die in South Carolina.

  • I was born country and thats what I'll always be

  • @09iamme In the "New South" it is like that. Supposedly "country" but all yankees, lol. They build a business, then about 20,000 come at once and push locals into outlying areas. Seeking "the good life" I guess. Then it turns into exactly what they left--- oh, so, mysteriously. And everything is Detroit adn interacting with peple is like you have to be as loud, gross, idiotic as NY requires.

  • @westchesterny yea I know I mean the keys are the only place south of sebastian I would be caught dead in, but Im a country boy forever

  • there's not alot of people that can honestly say they were BORN COUNTRY. i am proud to say i am one of the few. i cant imagine life any other way

  • i was born country and proud of it north carolina is south state is it this song says all about us country folk

  • COUNTRY TIIL I DIE.....AINT NO BETTER WAY TO BE

  • Im in Florida so is that like...super south?

  • @wariokid244 No. Mostly Yankees. The "New South" they call it, at least in South FL. It's not really the south any longer---- now it's like full of NYC people everybody says. But central and N. FL is more--- away from Miami and West Palm Beach. That's something else.

  • Country gal from central Wisconsin and Winter Texan...Alabama's one of the

  • You don't have to be born country to be country. I'm country but I was not born country no one in my family besides me is country at all

  • man i wish i was born country, doenst meen i cant enjoy it though :)

  • Man alot of you seem to think that country is only in the south, I have lived in both the north, the south and traveled everywhere in between. The one constant is small town folk are almost all the same, great thoughtful people willing to do anything for anyone... I was raised in Michigan and the ppl from my home are no different than the small town ppl here in the south, I love it, oh other than the MI ppl can handle the cold

  • man we aint saying country music is all for the south a lot of northerners like it we are just saying you aint country folks less you was born and raised country

  • Yea i know...I live in a small town in Southern IL and theres alot of country folks here...because theres alot of farms in IL(Cause of the good soil)...and IL is not the south...you made a good point there...now city ppl have no respect for anyone...but country folks would prolly do anything to help someone

  • this song is very country my friend made me listen 2 it i think that it is strange and very old and she is lip singing and she is so weird and she is old she is forty two i think she is a geek

  • You just don't understand that country folk are better than city folk.

  • no only city folk are on crack. Dopie

  • this song reminds me of my PawPaw sooo much! He was borned and raised in West Virginia but moved up to Chicago as an adult for work, where I was born and raised but he never ever lost his country accent, his country ways and I love it! He is retired and got to move back down home to West Virginia and I love to go visit because it is such a change of pace in the south!

  • You must be from northern WV.

I live in Bluefield where its really southern. You guys have a track record of supporting yankees. LOL

Just kidding, your still southern to me.

    ALMOST HEAVEN, WEST VIRGINIA.

  • This song is a perfect example of who I am. I live in the deep south and my family has been farming and been country folks for many generations. I love being a country boy, there ain't a better life.

  • dang 13+ thats cool by the way im 18 now still in the back woods of ga partying it up on my bday

  • southern pride.

  • This is basically my life. I was born in the country, still live in the country and i personally long for the mountains and countryside. Thats what i want when i grow up and move out. I want a little mountain house in a hollar, with a wrap around porch and rocking chairs out on the front porch, with a big front yard and pasture everywhere around me. I want my kids to grow up like that and learn to appreciate the flow of the land and all that God has blessed us with.

  • I can root for that Southern feeling, although I'm no American. But I'm a country-man, too. Germany where I come from has a strong love for the land, too. I work in the big city, but my heart beats for the good old ways of the country side.
