I voted for McKinney too! I too was a little bothered by Obama's critique of the Iraq war being just about bad strategy and nothing about imperialism or the immoral nature of the war.

Anyhow, I agree that voting for a third party candidate isn't a thrown away vote, for it's precisely that kind of thinking that keeps third party candidates from being major players and keeps power monopolized in the hands of two increasingly similar major political parties.

Nader WAS running Green, I saw the Green delegate counts, he was as close and far from Cynthia as Hillary was to Barack! Well, yes and no. It's not about running a candidate or not, it's about how that candidate will handle the swing states. Past performance shows that Nader will only campaign and build his support there, thus handing it to the repugs. It's true Cynthia said she won't abandon the swing states, but with her wide-ranging push for ballot access all across the country, I think it's clear she has the common sense to spread it out and hopefully get more of that prospective 5% from non-swing areas.

Cynthia McKinney is beautiful. She is the biggest victim of "media blackout" and the most fearless to ever run for President. Where Ron Paul and Obama are scared to loose the white vote and sacrifice their integrity doing so, Cynthia McKinney continues to cater to Black, immigrant and other voiceless communities without loosing a single white vote as most of her constituency is still white. Incredible! No one can do it better. She is not just a great candidate to me, I consider her, my leader.
