"Hijab" or "burka" or "chador" which muslim women wear are not neutral, they are cultural displays of domination from one civilization over another which displays the other team's colors. Muslims don't intend to enter the "melting pot," they have always been colonizers.

@USA4July1776 Actually muslim women do not cover because of culture. In fact, all Abrahamic religions, Judaism, Christianity, and Muslim books say that God requires all of us to cover for modesty and to protect yourself from infidelity, etc. In the Bible it is 1 Cor 11:2-16, I know because I was a Christian for 23 years, I know many Christian and Jewish women that cover just as Muslim women do.

@USA4July1776 I also wear hijab and I wear an abaya which is a long dress. I chose to dress this was as a Christian too because it is required by GOD and unfortrunately, too many people pick and choose what they want to do that is required of them by GOD instead of doing everything he requires of us. I covered as a Christian for a long time before I even decided to become Muslim and for you to say that the hijab is not neutral is blasphemous because God says it is neutral and requires it.

We even have our children running around half naked and we are basically asking rapists and pedophiles to harm us, which is actually oppression itself, the covering of women is not to be oppressed but to be liberating because we do not have to worry as much as an uncovered person of being raped or getting divorced,

@USA4July1776 When I started covering, both women and more men speaking to me more respectfully and curteously. The women and girls that are covered are not pressured into having sex all the time with random strangers, men do not treat us as though sex is all we are good for, they respect us more and look to us for marriage, not a one night stand. More than that, muslims have much less infidelity than any other people do and it is because we cover and respect ourselves and others.

@USA4July1776 I have worked for some really great companies that overlook my hijab(head covering) and abaya (long dress) I have worked for DirecTv, The Hartford, AAA of Texas, and I've been offered positions at Sprint and other major companies despite me wearing what I wear for religion. Dressing as a Muslim does not affect my work or my ability to work. I have many skills that are useful to many companies and they see what I can bring to the workplace, not just my looks.
