Hi, I understand what you're saying about how the music was changed & who played it first , but I'm saying it's like they are taking the same song on the radio & changing that .,like a guitar piece that is played , they cut it out or put it in the background where you can hardly hear it & the same with the vocals. It was the mid 1980's when someone hi-jacked a radio station here in Atlanta.
Apparently the guy didnt like the music that station was switching to so he locked himself in and played Bob Segers "old time rock n roll" back to back non stop for a couple of days. My good friend and me were rockin to it backed up at old free home store in the town where I lived so we decided to play the psychic game on the next "mark" to cruise by. To make this story short we won an untapped bottle of Jim Beam.

When I was younger I went to an AC/DC concert with my dad and it blew my mind the way the music sounded. However new music is not the first to start changing older songs. All Along the Watchtower by Jimi Hendrix is a Bob Dylan song cover, You Shook me by Led Zepplin is an altered version of Willie Dixon's song by the same title, and Hurt by Johnney Cash is a cover for the 9 Inch Nails song

It was the mid 1980's when someone hi-jacked a radio station here in Atlanta.
Apparently the guy didnt like the music that station was switching to so he locked himself in and played Bob Segers "old time rock n roll" back to back non stop for a couple of days. My good friend and me were rockin to it backed up at old free home store in the town where I lived so we decided to play the psychic game on the next "mark" to cruise by. To make this story short we won an untapped bottle of Jim Beam.

If you take the time to listen to some of todays music, and dig a little deeper you will find alot of people doing just the opposite. A few examples off the top of my head are "Born this way" which is a song against racism and segregation, or "where is the love" which is against gang violence. They are out there

When I was younger I went to an AC/DC concert with my dad and it blew my mind the way the music sounded. However new music is not the first to start changing older songs. All Along the Watchtower by Jimi Hendrix is a Bob Dylan song cover, You Shook me by Led Zepplin is an altered version of Willie Dixon's song by the same title, and Hurt by Johnney Cash is a cover for the 9 Inch Nails song

If you are a country fan then there is new country music, but if you dont like Rap music you dont need to listen to it.
