Why does everyone give a crap that Pandemic got shut down? In my opinion, they were a mediocre company, the only memorable game they have made was Star Wars: Battlefront 1 and 2, they've never had the standards of Bungie, Infinity Ward etc. I would think they would leave something to leave their mark, that being The Saboteur but they didn't! They just left another mediocre game in their Library and thankfully, their last.

you forgot to mention that modern warfare 2 has borrowed many things from games before cod ever existed , CoD1 was a ww2 game but played like soldier of fortune 2 ' wuich has throwing knife in mp ' , then battlefield desert combat and battlefield 2 were both modern warfare games out before cod became modern warfare , also games called black hawk down / joint ops were out way before modern warfare 1 and have the weapons like claymore , at4 , stinger , javelin , same music producer in bhd and mw2.

Truley i dont like MW2 and im am really6 excited about Bad Company 2. MW2 has a good story but a multiplayer system full of 9 year olds and fagets. Bad Comapny is not a rip off it is a much much better version of a modern war game. Think of it this way, MW2 has litlle kids Bad Company has buildings falling down huge explosions ans guys that scream TAKE THAT MOTHA FUCKAzzzzzz. Clearly Bad Company is better.

I can't say I was a fan of Bad Company. The play style was alright. I enjoyed the fully destructible environments and the tougher enemies (tougher as in they took more bullets to go down) but I wasn't a fan of the writing. The jokes didn't make me laugh and I thought the silly atmosphere the game tried to give took away from what the game could of been. But that's just my opinion. Solid game play, but less than adequate writing.

K i am a big MW2 like its my pick easily GOTY but i think his statement about Bad co 2 was kind of unfair. Bad company 1 was awesome!!! Easily the best shooter of all time! THis coming from a CoD guy haha my only beef with Bad Co 1 was it took a whole clip of ammo to kill a guy. So i always went back to CoD's more addictive play style of run and gun.
