Hello Chawman. Good to see other true wrestling fans on You Tube who have seen pro wrestling longer than the 1980s. Portland Wrestling was fantastic to watch on television during the 1970s and 80s. I am a fan who never loved Hulk Hogan. I agree. TNA was a better promotion during its early years until Hogan and his ancient group of goons came along and ruined it. What are you're thought on ROH?

I disagree about TNA because Hogan and Bischoff are RUINING TNA's opportunity to get at the WWE. Don't be surprised if McMahon winds up buying TNA eventually.

I remember watching TNA in the October of 2006. Sting was feuding with Jarret, Kurt Angle was coming in. Sting later had a storyline with Abyss. I still enjoyed WWE but TNA was a good alternate to have when I grew bored with WWE. Nowadays I just can't take TNA seriously anymore. It's too all over the place.
I fully agree. With no one to compete against, what motivation does WWE have? Hence the shitty storiesfrom 2003 onwards...the mediocre rosters...I myself enjoyed the combat between WCW and WWF. It gave us the fans options; two quality programmes. Now it's WWE or nought at all.

Bischoff took WCW to the top back in the day and he still could do the same with TNA but Hogan is in charge and he's running TNA into the ground. I say Fire Hogan keep Bischoff and things will turn around for TNA but Dixie Carter is too stupid to realize that.

nasty boys are gone now thats good i was tired of seeing the dudleys putting them over ,they should fire bubba the love sponge,vince russo,orlando jordan,and rob terry,unfortunatley they fired Daniels,I like the legends they brought in (the wolfpac)but they need to focus more on the younger talent and have less gimmick matches more like the tna of old and im hoping hogan sees the light but i hate the over the top unbelivable story lines that russo seems to push..i just want to watch wrestling
@DanchElmore From what I heard, Daniels asked for his release. I like Russo and the way he wrote back in the Attitude Era and even when he was in the WCW...he needs to tap into that again. I pretty much agree with you on the rest.

To be quite honest, ever since Hogan came back & the "Change" to TNA, I've been hooked again to wresting since i quit watching it in 2005. Now watching TNA kind of reminds me why i missed WCW before WWE took over. i worked with jarrette in dallas tx in wccw me and him use to talk all the time about how hard it was for a small guy to get in the business and this is what tna is all about the small guy who can work and they where doing a real good job without hogan or russo,bishoff sure jarrette bought in the dudly boys to train some of the small guys and they them selfs worked real good with the smaller guys they beleaved in giving the smaller guys a chance

hey chawman im a retired wrestler i got my start in world class championship wrestling in dallas tx. i wrestled as rockin rick in wccw frittz put me with a girl named robin who was jake the snakes roberts baby sister we became the mixed tag team known as rockin rick and rockin robin around 82 or 83. after i left wccw i went on to toher promotions in the south but any way i have to agree with you on what your saying hogan and bishof need to go they both are a peace of shit!!!!

Hey chawman I do agree with some things you say about Hogan and friends.One thing wwe has been pretty bad lately but Tna has never been a good quality show.I have seen many shows and it is no where near of being top of the line.Half of the guys there would have never made it when wrestling was at it's best.

I thought Razor Ramon was great and, like Brian Adams and Billy Jack Haynes, Hall could have gone much further, but he screwed himself with the booze and the non-professionalism (no-showing at various events, etc).

let me say this wrestling needs some good story line wrighters all we see now days is old wwe stiry lines all over again russo and bishoff are not good story wrighters for the business back in my time in wrestling we didnt have someone righting the story lines we came up with our own stuff and it worked better than the crap we have today in the business

also if hogan new so much about the wrestling business why couldnt he start his own promotion? now heres a good one for you a few years ago saggs was reported dead from a drug over dose i read this on the enternet hum all a sudden he re-apeires in tna hum? so whats up with that line of crap? but you are right hogan brings all these goons from the past to tna cause nobody wants them anymore just a bunch of losers who depend on hogan to give them work

hogan wasnt nothing till he went to work for the wwf,vince made him what he is to this day put him over with a finisher called a leg drop he cant wrestle like we did in the early 80,s he just couldnt hang i talk to black bart all the time and we both say if only he was there with us we would beat the living crap out of hogan and send him packing he would have never made it in wccw fritz would have gotten rid of him quick

now hogan and bishoff where talking about starting there own wrestling promotion what happened? it failed cause no one wanted to put up with there crap! his glory days are over so they deside to get involved in tna cause they cant do it there selfs so they have to find a promotion who is doing well to get involved tna was great without them they just want to use someone else to help make them famuse what a buch of losers!!!

i worked with jarrette in dallas tx in wccw me and him use to talk all the time about how hard it was for a small guy to get in the business and this is what tna is all about the small guy who can work and they where doing a real good job without hogan or russo,bishoff sure jarrette bought in the dudly boys to train some of the small guys and they them selfs worked real good with the smaller guys they beleaved in giving the smaller guys a chance

ok heres part #2. ive worked in wcw with hogan and bishoff and russo i was doing a few gimmicks with flair and bishoff still hasnt paid me to this date.dont like the guy and never will and what made hogan famus is his bull shit leg drop these three are the reason why wcw failed like it did besides russo and bishoff was still working for the wwe at the time what a inside job and i see it happing to tna as well they will desrtoy what jarrette and his dad built its sad but its true just watch

hey chawman im a retired wrestler i got my start in world class championship wrestling in dallas tx. i wrestled as rockin rick in wccw frittz put me with a girl named robin who was jake the snakes roberts baby sister we became the mixed tag team known as rockin rick and rockin robin around 82 or 83. after i left wccw i went on to toher promotions in the south but any way i have to agree with you on what your saying hogan and bishof need to go they both are a peace of shit!!!!

Hey chawman I do agree with some things you say about Hogan and friends.One thing wwe has been pretty bad lately but Tna has never been a good quality show.I have seen many shows and it is no where near of being top of the line.Half of the guys there would have never made it when wrestling was at it's best.

but you just buried scott hall (one of my all time favs) and i dont know why you did that...he's not in the ring burying talent ..or getting championship belts ....and sean waltman is a good wrestler .

I thought Razor Ramon was great and, like Brian Adams and Billy Jack Haynes, Hall could have gone much further, but he screwed himself with the booze and the non-professionalism (no-showing at various events, etc).
Favorite or not, the man refuses to follow through on obligations and pickles himself with booze. That makes him a little boy.
