Forget the Stone Roses, forget the Happy Mondays - This band was Madchester. My GF got pushed into a disabled person's seat at a gig in North London and she rocked the world for the next three weeks until Exit Body came out. After that she was a pushover.
@dazmalski ive been making vids for tunes from pigeonhole.so far ive done fishes eyes, you were lying, partial and part 4.have a look and enjoy.ill be doing more.
Not often you hear a complex studio recorded song sound much better live, but this is way better than the album version - what a tight band! Makes Morrissey's bunch of sub-pub rock journeymen seem even worse in comparison. Him and Boorer always good, the rest usually shite. They can't even do a simple song like This Charming Man without fucking it up.
saw these guys and couldnt believe how tight they were.thanks for the vid. check out a band from aussie called tame impalla.they have a flavor similar to NFAD.manchester rocks

My mates use to take the piss for liking this band in the 90s seen them at cities in the park and king tuts in Glasgow and they were fucking terrific ! Still love there music today wish they would reform ! Cmon spearpoint
I remember seeing these play at my student union bar not long before they released Pigeonhole, and thought they were gonna be absolutely massive. Most under-rated band ever. Should have been huge.
@SECONDroom Saw them supporting The Wonder Stuff and tbh I could take or leave them prior to that. But they blew me away that day and have loved them ever since, 41 soon and still dancing :-)
I can't believe I have finally found this footage from 'the new sessions'. I think
i still have a copy of this on vhs at my parents but have no vhs player. There should be at least 3 more tracks from the session, if someone has the rest of the footage from this please, please, please upload!
They played in America. I saw them at The Whiskey in Los Angeles in 1991 (I also saw them earlier that year in Manchester at a festival). Amazing live band! It's sad that they are not very well known.
Woah HOT! I never knew that for sure. I worked a record store that had a Ticketmaster outlet at the time and remember searching for their name on it a couple times but never got any results. I'd love to hear a proper live set.
when he played at Blackpool Jenks club. he danced next to me when the DJ played this song.
He asked me if Iiked this band? er yeh I think its great, he said he was the lead singer, i didn't believe him, so he said 'let me sign your top and see what happens next'. a bit dodgey but I was young and rather pissed!!
a few songs latter, the band starts up and guess what!?!?!
2 be honest the only way i know about New FAD is cos i know the lead singer andy, infact i met him yesterday when we went 2 a casino night and he performed with his wife lisa lol, its a bit strange
wheres it gone? i watched last night! bloody brilliant.
kiljoys, if they think i am going out to buy it now the've taken of air, they are slightly deluded after all this is only a live support act from almost 20yrs ago for god sake!!!!
support act to BIRDLAND (who remembers them??) in cardiff 1989 chARLES street mint club. They blew me away total stage control, perfection, whole crowd into it...BIRDLAND were shit>>>>
love love love love this fucking band...used to work at a "modern rock" radio station back in the day in vancouver...we debuted the single "Stockholm" and I never stopped playing it. "Big" is a trippy one...impossible to keep still listening to this track!
This was at the Hacienda on December 19th 1990. Me and a mate were there. I think MC Busbee supported them. Someone originally posted the same clip well over a year ago, but it appears to have been recently removed...
superb, great under-rated band. remember them playing at the old HMV at the bottom of Manchester's Market St. This one seems to be from the Hac. love it!
Splendid !!!

I do like a bit of Tame Impala. Which song sounds like NFADS? I think they sound a little bit more Cream-like plus other influences.
