  • Splendid !!!

  • ive been making vids for tunes from pigeonhole.so far ive done fishes eyes, you were lying, partial and part 4.have a look and enjoy.ill be doing more.

  • Forget the Stone Roses, forget the Happy Mondays - This band was Madchester. My GF got pushed into a disabled person's seat at a gig in North London and she rocked the world for the next three weeks until Exit Body came out. After that she was a pushover.

  • Mega tune.

Saw New FADS play two great shows at Leeds Poly & Leeds Duchess back in 1990......great times.

  • a man without qualities , loved this band from day one ,thank you for posting i owe you a pint

  • I work with the guitar player!!!

  • Not often you hear a complex studio recorded song sound much better live, but this is way better than the album version - what a tight band! Makes Morrissey's bunch of sub-pub rock journeymen seem even worse in comparison. Him and Boorer always good, the rest usually shite. They can't even do a simple song like This Charming Man without fucking it up.

  • Lots more stuff here at myspacedotcomslashnewfads

  • ace , still lookiong for granada footage

  • where was this shot?

  • I believe it was shot at The Hacienda in Manchester. Now a block of apartments.

  • saw these guys and couldnt believe how tight they were.thanks for the vid. check out a band from aussie called tame impalla.they have a flavor similar to NFAD.manchester rocks

  • @paulwhoo

I do like a bit of Tame Impala. Which song sounds like NFADS? I think they sound a little bit more Cream-like plus other influences.

  • saw these guys and couldnt believe how tight they were.thanks for the vid. check out a band from aussie called tame impalla.they have a flavor similar to NFAD

  • simply thee most underrated band ever... its like secret club liking this band! I love 'em!!!

  • My mates use to take the piss for liking this band in the 90s seen them at cities in the park and king tuts in Glasgow and they were fucking terrific ! Still love there music today wish they would reform ! Cmon spearpoint

  • I remember seeing these play at my student union bar not long before they released Pigeonhole, and thought they were gonna be absolutely massive. Most under-rated band ever. Should have been huge.

  • Splendid

  • Fucking YEAH!

  • cheers dolerigger , classic track ,both thumbs aloft

  • great lost band , loved em

  • 20 years later and Im 37 but this is still mad high intense stuff.....i put my pain in a jar

  • @SECONDroom Saw them supporting The Wonder Stuff and tbh I could take or leave them prior to that. But they blew me away that day and have loved them ever since, 41 soon and still dancing :-)

  • I can't believe I have finally found this footage from 'the new sessions'. I think

i still have a copy of this on vhs at my parents but have no vhs player. There should be at least 3 more tracks from the session, if someone has the rest of the footage from this please, please, please upload!

  • These guys were great live and a great sat of lads, has a great night with them when they played live at Dublins Rock Garden back in 91 or 92.

You give me penguins for company...Go

  • nice to know theres still people loving them, awesome band!

  • Thank you for this, one of the best live bands and gigs of that early 90s era, some mad nights in King Tuts WW Hut.

    Class

  • I know the base player.

He's round at my house. Lol

  • This band must play again before i die please come to my back garden and i will help you set up and play for me and my mates - thats sorted then!

  • absolutely brilliant this shits on a lot of bands coming out now.....much better than the Mondays

  • MORE MORE MORE post more, please, we were stuck in America and it was a long swim ...

  • They played in America. I saw them at The Whiskey in Los Angeles in 1991 (I also saw them earlier that year in Manchester at a festival). Amazing live band! It's sad that they are not very well known.

  • Woah HOT! I never knew that for sure. I worked a record store that had a Ticketmaster outlet at the time and remember searching for their name on it a couple times but never got any results. I'd love to hear a proper live set.

  • It just gets better with time...

    Thanks,

    /Ed

  • when he played at Blackpool Jenks club. he danced next to me when the DJ played this song.

He asked me if Iiked this band? er yeh I think its great, he said he was the lead singer, i didn't believe him, so he said 'let me sign your top and see what happens next'. a bit dodgey but I was young and rather pissed!!

a few songs latter, the band starts up and guess what!?!?!

Good old Andy was singing his songs .

  • 2 be honest the only way i know about New FAD is cos i know the lead singer andy, infact i met him yesterday when we went 2 a casino night and he performed with his wife lisa lol, its a bit strange

  • Great 5-star track. Outstanding, nice one for posting. Shit hot band here....

  • ahh its back!!!, love it, i get a feeling a baggy revival is on the way with this reccesion, i hope the klaxtons are dooing some e's!!!!!

  • wheres it gone? i watched last night! bloody brilliant.

kiljoys, if they think i am going out to buy it now the've taken of air, they are slightly deluded after all this is only a live support act from almost 20yrs ago for god sake!!!!

  • Totally, fucking superb stuff.

  • new fads are still amazing even after all these years!)

  • support act to BIRDLAND (who remembers them??) in cardiff 1989 chARLES street mint club. They blew me away total stage control, perfection, whole crowd into it...BIRDLAND were shit>>>>

  • Saw them at the Horseshoe Club in Toronto way back.

  • So did I. As I recall there were few of us there. Erindale???????

  • love love love love this fucking band...used to work at a "modern rock" radio station back in the day in vancouver...we debuted the single "Stockholm" and I never stopped playing it. "Big" is a trippy one...impossible to keep still listening to this track!

  • A great live band in their own right. How they weren't huge is beyond me..........

  • cause most of the paople don't know about music

  • this song live was the dogs bollocks couldnt see for the sweat in my eyes but kept on dancing!

  • OMG I was there!!

  • Watched them support James at Blackpool in '89

Never heard of them before that night, but man did they rock.

Stole the show that night. Absolutely awesome.

  • Might have been '90

    August 3rd?

  • Am I the only one from the US that loves this?

  • what memories this band bring back awesome band they was

  • This was at the Hacienda on December 19th 1990. Me and a mate were there. I think MC Busbee supported them. Someone originally posted the same clip well over a year ago, but it appears to have been recently removed...

  • Saw them support the Charlatans at the Colusseum in Cornwall in 1991. They blew everyone away! Great fucking band!

  • Just fucking awesome

  • superb, great under-rated band. remember them playing at the old HMV at the bottom of Manchester's Market St. This one seems to be from the Hac. love it!
