Albertans are paying artificially high electricity prices because Alberta Energy, AESO, EPCOR, Capital Power, TransAlta and AltaLink have designed it that way. We have an oversupply of electricity in AB yet we pay the highest prices within North America. Oversupply should mean lower consumer prices, but not here in Alberta, because we have the most draconian electricity generation and transmission systems in N.A.
