  • every comment basically says to stop hatin... SO IM HATIN! THIS FUCKIN SUCKS LLAMA SHUTTLECOCK!

  • thry a lithle thendernesssss

  • Oh my god! So... sexy..

  • Ok people, this is like sinatra covering james brown. OF COURSE IT ISNT GOING TO HAVE SOUL. But that doesn't make it BAD. It's just different! And it's good! I personally like Otis's version better, but I could't sing it like either of them! This is obviously a vocal-jazz cover. Very nice, props to Buble.

  • no soul at all just pop opera type smh soul is what make the song amazing and he has none at all

  • This song is originally a pop standard, not soul. How buble sings it is more or less how it is originally sung.

  • @hermanoguzman Not really. It can be done just a little more uptempo without still going off into Otis Redding/Commitments Land. Buble's entitled to his interpretation of this song, it's been around for 80 years FFS, but to do it Big Band/Frank Sinatra doesn't have to mean slow and lugubrious.

  • It's a sad day when I have to pick chris brown's version over this. Of course, non of these come anywhere close to Otis' masterpiece

  • How is it that everybody can listen to Glee kill every song out there and call them genius, and then come to this video and chew this guy out. Sure nothing ever beats originals, but that doesn't automatically make this crap. If anything, be thankful to the guy, he's bringing attention back to the originals. Insuring that they will be remembered at least a while longer than expected. Musical history is being forgotten, we need all the reminders we can get.

  • @inupuppy101 well I like Glee so i don't know why you say that. Just as you say be thankful to them. I love glee and I love Bublé. No problem with that, maybe you shouldn't put all of us in the same bag.

  • I've just discovered a new definition of atrocity!

  • F**k you Michael Buble!

  • Sinatra of our time!.. LUV U BUB

  • chris brown sings it better

  • you don't like? don't want to listen? then DON'T!! go back to what ever rock you crawled out from under. You will not be missed.

  • my journey to hear glee>otis redding>chris brown. michael buble!!! :)

  • 42 ppl understnd nothing in music :/

  • HES A GOOD SINGER WOMEN NEVER FORGETH THINGS

  • Michael Bublé is perfect and all you guys suck

  • orchestration 100%....vocals 100%...who can say fairer than that? whf? why the negativity......go with the good vibe every time.....life is too short....

  • What a waste of the past 27 seconds of my evening!

  • I'm so glad! I don't feel like an idiot anymore, I thought I was the only one who thought this sounded like a Christmas Carol lol

  • he made this great song sound like a christmas carol

  • @Wuddymaters13 I thought the same thing when I heard it :)))

  • so this is what happened to frank sinatra's spirit..reincarnated!

  • DOES THIS GUY MAKE HIS OWN MUSIC, OR JUST STILL EVERYONE ELSE CREATIONS!?!?!?!

  • modern franksinatra :P

  • @MohowkMan14 Who is Sinatra :D ??

  • thumbs up if otis bought you here

  • I appreciate Michael Bublé and actually like some of his songs, however he really ruins this song. It should simply not be sung like this....

  • Oh...that's right, this is why I love Buble`

  • This man's level of control and smoothness rates him in the top echelon of proffesional singers, BUT- pairing a world class singer with an amazing song does not always work well. In this case it was a disaster. Was it technically sound? Yes, he displayed a great amount of finesse and control, but that is the problem. If you take a strong, soulfull song and just smooth it out with perfect, dulcimer tones you're basically castrating it. Please, Michael, stick to Blue Eyes and the like.

  • HD version of this song on my channel ENJOY and subscribe

  • good white boy version haha...hes got a little jam goin on there!

  • How did I get here. I was just listening to Otis Redding Try a little Tenderness. Tie to back track .

  • hes frank sinatra

  • white ppl covering black music is so weird. buble still amazing though

  • This Is More Of A Blues Type Cover, Correct?

  • @dontdiejerk09 incorrect. this is in no way blues...

  • hes a great singer but he should try more of his own stuff rather than covers

  • i think the best cover of this is actually the glee version :p haha

  • I want him to sing at my wedding!

  • left out words had a few and remembering the good ol days.

  • i can't alot of these comments...for any one to say that buble out did otis is just funny... as one who thinks that don't be foolish.. that set the standard for artists now and many others also did be in the day teddy, marvin,mr green, lionel the temptations need i say more... the remixes are great but never will top the ORIGINALS..without them it wouldn't be possible..my pops indirectly brught me up on this amazing music....rip.kwbest I

  • @drodz6196 Hi! Did you know Bing Crosby did this way back when? It was written right around the Great Depression, maybe a bit before, this song is actually close to a hundred years old: just goes to show, great lyrics and melody have legs forever...my 11yr.old experiments with different genres, and he started singing along w/ the Andrew Strong version. By the way I thought your comment is one of the more insightful. Have a great day. : )

  • It's hard to appreciate Otis over-sang version after listening to this. No offence, but Michael's version enables me to catch the melody.. Otis, on the other hand, perhaps is alot jazzy and lively, but I'm too much distracted by his oh yeah yeah yeah, til I lost the beauty of the original melody..

  • @stevgen81 lol you're an idiot. Otis sang a soul song, and Michael Buble sang a jazz song. You tard.

  • He totally ruined this

  • Cute. I liked. Not bettter than Otis, sure. But its more romantice.

  • What! Love him but he did not do this song justice.....

  • Awesome! His voice is so amazing...makes my knees go weak *sigh*

  • he didn't ruin the song, he has as much soul as anyone. so sh.

  • holy crap. I had to pause it for a second to regroup. XD

  • Michael......YUMMY!! Hey Midas, too each his/her own. Guess you didn't like Frank Sinatra either. In which case, listen to what you do like, eh?

  • no he didnt! he ruined the song..where is the soul!

  • hard to appreciate this after hearing Otis Redding for so long

  • @todosuenaablues your rite, chris brown sang it way better

  • ... Totally soulless... boring and soulless

  • two words SUPER FANTASTIC

  • This is awful. Dude is soulless. This is just not his thing. I'm a vocalist myself. I pride myself on versatility. I have a soul cover band. When it's time to sing soul, I sing soul. when it's time to croon and go jazzy, I do that too. This made me want to vomit.

  • @midastouch106 i would love to hear your voice if you think you can do any better

  • @midastouch106

Where can we buy your CD? Buble has sold millions of Albums, how many millions of albums have you sold? Maybe we've hear of you. What's your name? Share please.

  • @midastouch106 I totally agree with you

  • mad respect

  • Michael Bublé é simplesmente maravilhoso. Impecável!

    Obrigada mburdmburd!

  • justine bieber got owned when he listened to dis!! XD

  • And ... one another thing ... gosh I would love him to make love with me! xD Or with his voice ! :D

Or if he could only sing to me like this while we're in bed ... Damn , I can't even imagine that , ... I would hope this moment will never end :D

  • His voice reminds me about christmas :) I don't know why .. maybe be his voice is just so special and warm.. just like christmas :)

  • What a voice..Michael, you are what I wanted to be when I was your age> Keep it going, man!!!

  • amber riley is not even closeee...

  • Chris brown has nothin on buble , buble is awesome and has a beautiful voice!!!

  • how the hell did I get here? I was listening to Otis Redding...

  • @bigkozlov ..............i was asking myself the same question! hahahahaha

  • @bigkozlov

    Same song, sweetie. ;)

  • @bigkozlov cunt

  • @bigkozlov sorry that was elliot crabtree

  • @bigkozlov cos this is an otis redding song? atleast u got ur thumbs up hey

  • @bigkozlov idiot.

  • Luisana lopilato...so lucky!

  • very cute and nice voice im singing some of his songs :D

  • When is he coming to Holland? When? When?!

  • One word for this: POWERFUL! ♥♥

  • i totally love him

  • nope. brown's isn't better.

  • @SevenThrones I dont think you should compare because Michael Bublé really has this amazing control and a special classic sound and feeling about his voice while Chris Brown is more of a R'n'B "cute" voice. :)

  • @MsLolloZ BUT this song is an R&B song that Buble made it into a classic/crooner song which makes it lose ALL of the soul and emotion that Otis Redding was portraying when he originally recorded it.

  • @SODA601 Actually this song was first recorded in 1932 by the Ray Noble Orchaestra and a little later by Etta James, Bing Crosby and a slew of others. Reddidngs version is an excellent rendition of this beautiful standard.

  • this man is amazing, his voice is flawless, he gives me butterflies lol <3

  • His voice is like pure sex. He starts off slow and soft, then starts building up more and more then hits his climax and gently brings us back down!

  • @Jfad18 I don't know how to take this, im a guy.

  • Otis Redding version is my favorite but this isn't bad either

  • I like it when he breaks it down at the end!! OMG YESS!!

  • beautiful, in its own way. it gave me shivers

  • no one sings it better then the commitments

  • chris brown's version is better than this .....

  • LOVESYA! Michael Buble! owwww beautiful song!!!!!

  • Andrew Strong, that is all

  • lol i almost fell asleep to..i do like this one and Otis' versions

  • beautiful...as much as i love bublé's voice and this nice jazzy version of the song, I think Otis Redding kicks everyone's butt! :D

  • please, anybody have the complete lyrics of this song, i can't find it

  • 17 people didn't try a little tenderness

  • just went over to reddings version..... a travesty..

  • does he have a speech impediment??

  • it's good, but has a lack of soul or real feeling.

  • Well spotted my friend but still its a very acurate two words would`nt you agree with that.

  • i think this is one of his best performances!

  • ONE WORD MIND BLOWING

  • @psychopath43 thats two words

  • Boring... You need soul to thing this song! Otis had soul!!

  • otis' is better

  • I love this so much. Young Frank Sinatra version was so incredible, too!

  • A true soulful voice. We need more singers like him.

  • Awesome! Just plain AWESOME!!!

  • have you heard Justin Beibers' version? just kidding.Wow,this is such a great song and a perfect version of it.

  • I got chills towards the end. O_O;

  • Michael has an awesome voice, so much feeling in every word, but personally I find this song way too slow for my liking. But this is just my opinion of this one song, and it is just the tempo....thats all.

  • Dr.Strangelove, title music. Greeeeeeeat!

  • I only knew this song by Three Dog Night. This is by far the best ever. I have listened to Otis too. This is the one with soul connection.

    Thank you so much.

PS I am not a disagreeable type. This is simply so beautiful.

  • I am beginning to think there should be two comments pages on every youtube video. One for people who want to express their appreciation, and another for people who want to bitch about how so-and-so is much better than this one. lol.

  • @jd7x7jd Yeah I get tired of it also....I understand to an extent because Buble is basically a cover artist....but he does the songs very well and that is what matters.....if people dont like it they should not come here

  • This is what i think of as being the original version, just heard TIna Turner murdering it...

  • One of the last of his kind.. There will be only lady gaga's and ali baba's futher in the future.

But still, Otis Redding has the sweetest tenderness in his voice.

  • I love the way he sings.

  • i love michael buble

  • The best version I have heard is Nancy Wilson in the 60's..awesome! She has a great

voice and I miss the songs! @pettespride

  • @SoKriddEnt

Chris Brown sounds like a little boy compared to Michael Buble. Buble's version is much better. Heck, when Otis Redding sung this very same song he even sung it better than Chris Brown.

  • @SoKriddEnt define "booty"

  • One word: 'Fantastic'

  • His voice is really fabulous . I love it.

  • Our song... to my darling & me... <3

Thanks for this beautiful interpretation Michael.

  • The studio version is best , isn't it ?

  • i want him to sing on my wedding

  • @owkenyo How much cash you got?

  • what a talent, what sentimental rendition, he is bringing back, all the beautiful songs from the golden era of music ! - Thanks for posting

  • i dont think he has talent, but he's got great style, which makes him not a talented, but an awesome singer.

  • I love this song!!! Its so sweet

  • So soft and gentle to the ears :-)

  • Great version !

  • andrew strong is better

  • How can 10 people not like this song???

IMO, the best version is his. He totally owns this song. Best male voice out there!

  • I went to his concert the other day at the wembley arena and he completely rocked! love ya!!!!!!!!!!

  • I love this man like no other. His voice is swoon-worthy and then some.

  • Wonderful, convincent performance. Thank you Michael.

  • thanks for sharing

  • WHY IS EVERBODY SAYING FRANK SINATRA FRANK SINATRA, OTIS MADE THIS SONG FAMOUS NOT FRANK

  • I'm just trying to figure out, how he can sing without any in ear monitors or even floor monitors...

  • for the comparison of sinatra, dean martin..if buble lived at that time..Im pretty sure he would be mentioned there with them and would have support of being better than them..I would think the other guys, unless their ego was not in check, they would have enjoyed listening to him..

  • There can never be another Frank Sinatra or Dean Martin just like there can never be another Michael Buble, They are individually gifted and talented.

  • @InsomniacMusicGroup Couldn't agree more!

  • He is a talented singer.. But this song wasn't the greatest choice for him.

  • Yawnnn....

  • okay frank sinatra wannabe. This is so dumb and vegas and caricatured.

If you're in your thirties or under and like this.... then I feel bad that you have to put this on in a sad attempt to get laid. It will pretty much do the opposite of get you laid unless the girl is just as lame as you.

  • @Dueds ........Who said he went down as the voice of the 20th century?? or did you just make that up huh???

  • @taoking1 well read some articles and you will find out, but he was down as voice of the 20th centruy, knowone could phrase like frank could, and he didnt even try and sing, it was so easy for him to do he just opened his mouth the words sung themselves

  • love michael buble!!!!!!!!!!

  • ..THIS guy is a piece of tenderness himself!!!!!Oh my....

  • @ Jeffreylevin 100 Are you serious ?? Frank had great songs but had a crappy voice....

  • @taoking1 you got problems saying frank had a crappy voice, he went down as voice of the 20th century, buble does this pretty good too

  • very good each one have their different ways of sining it and they are nice

  • oh hell no! he just killed the soul to this song smh..

  • Otis Redding.

  • where did you find this??????
