Hello! I've been having some trouble with the WAD Manager..I went into my HBC and I wanted to install a wad but when I started to load the manager the screen went black. I thought it was my console so I formatted the console. Now I lost all my files and the wad manager still won't work even after reinstalling the HBC. What should I do?
I have the WAD Manager HBC app and i have wii system 4.0u so instead of downgrading my wii i downgraded my ios. Tutorial can be found if you search "WAD Manager 1.4 via Wii Homebrew Channel on menu 4.0u" in google and the website that has timashley in it is the one. I got the wad manager that way but when i got the wad manager channel, the channel starts up but i wasnt able to download the backup channel, but when i used the homebrew app i was able to download the backup channel.

Then I decided to try Majora's Mask. When I tried to install IOS53, it gave me error -1035! I've even tried booting Wad Manager 1.4 via BannerBomb instead of like a Homebrew app.
ALSO: This is all I did. I didn't install any cIOSs or anything before this. All I said is all I've one. And I'm on Menu 4.0

Yes, for the Retrieving device Error, I had a "S" in the name of my "wads" folder. I should read "wad", for some reason the Wii duznt read it as "wads"
OMFG ME too i use HBC and i have the latest update which only lets u install .dol not .elf so i got the convertor but my wad manager is still .elf can't find and wad managers .dol with right data

I've tried to install a wad channel but I can't due to the fact that my wad manager doesn't work. So if some would help it would be great!

You need to patch your wii system using "Pimp My Wii" homebrew.

you need somting with that converter. my wad manager is a .dol but i still get that error message and my folder is called "wad"

First, you need the Snes emulator WAD file. Now, put that file on a folder named "WAD" on your SD Card and then run WAD Manager. Good luck.

Oh dont worry, i found out the problem, its that it wasnt in .dol, since the old wad manager was .elf. i just dont have a meta file, but thats fine.

There are some tools for WAD Creation like WADder or "WAD Studio". Look for them on google.
