  • there is something very artist in Howe's arms

    great look for him

  • i miss jon anderson. The new singer sucks.

  • One of my favorite groups from the 70s/

  • i miss this line more than anything

  • TRUE YES...NOT MAKE BELIEVE YES.

  • Jon is so happy. I love it.

  • What freak would ever dislike this video? Hmm? Loser thats who..I saw the entire group along with Rick Wakeman in "79" they were called "The Incredible Yes" back then. I was 16 years old..Lol..The sound system was suspended in the air surrounding the auditorium in Omaha. The stage was round and it rotated one way then you wouldnt notice it started to rotate the other way..Also Jon Anderson wore sparkling robes that changed colors in the lights. And Rick Wakemen hit the lowest note I ever heard!

  • Starship is the greatest yes song ever writtten......../

  • @jeffsdolphin I'd have to agree with you!

  • one of their best songs Ever!

  • I was at this show....died and went to progrockin' heaven, we did!! they were so on it that night ... as good or better than the Union Tour performance I saw. Tasteful edits btw ... this is a good DVD to buy, one I return and introduce others to.

These guys need to pull it together for another tour, they can totally do it and should.

  • Thank you for posting this. I can't tell you how many times I've watched this masterpiece. Jon looks like he's having the greatest time. Steve's playing is mesmorizing. I've never seen them live and fear I might not ever...missed a real treasure if that's comes true.

    B.

  • Yes: 35th Anniversary Concert ...

    Its Fantastic!

I just watched it on Netflix ...a masterpiece!

  • YES was truly an untouchable ensemble of musicians/storytellers.......Ever heard any band with that same sound?????

Emerson ,Lake and Palmer also belongs in that group...

  • An untouchable ensemble of dudes /music and storytelling...........ever heard any band with the same or similar sound........?????

    E.L.P. was another

  • Totally amazing! This is my all time favorite band EVER!!!!! I have been listening to their music for 30 years.

  • Jon Anderson makes the funniest gestures when he sings. I've never seen yes, and I fear they might be retiring soon. I would like to see them playing with Jon though.

  • holy fucking shit they are amazing

  • This is such an underrated band! When I talk about Hobbit Rock to other rock fans I usually get the usual: Rush, Led Zeppelin, Styx, etc.

    I LOVE YES!

  • Cracks me up when Chris tries to get Steve to rock out at about 7:45. Steve ignores him like, "Not tonight, dear. I have a headache," and Chris gives him a look, "Ah, c'mon, you're being a drag, baby." It was always fun to watch Steve get really physical with the music, but hey, I guess we all get older. The man still rocks, even when he doesn't quite rock out!

  • @tima90328 It's like Steve is saying "Leave me alone, Fish. I'm in MY ZONE!"

  • @TheJackjackjack111 youtube restriction for regular acc, cant upload something longer than 10 minutes, you smartass.

  • @jchahin13 Did not know about that restriction; sorry!I see lots of vids longer than ten mins- are you saying you have to pay to do that?

  • LOOK AT THE BASS LICK AT 5:34 !!!!

  • fav YES song

  • Great song. And a great performance by the band. This is a song that will always stand the test of time. 4 stars.

  • Please...lets bring Jon Anderson back...and get rid of that bozo cover band singer

  • I love this song!

  • well its not Natalie Portman raps but it passes the time. wat'a'u'know

  • 1990 @ The Spectrum in Philly, on 3 hits of LSD-it was my Golden B-day turning 19.-AWESOME!

  • I can't believe that the last and only time I saw them live was in 1969 at Merriweather Post Pavillion in Columbia, Md. I was 16 yrs. old.

  • acoustic guitarist needs to eat

  • I know he used to be a very committed veggie. Not sure about now though.

  • July 4 1975, festival seating in the Astrodome. Truly a life punctuating moment!

  • I can't believe how many times I have watched this video. I hope that they literally "re-group" one last time to give all of us huge fans the proper 40th Anniversary tour that they were intending. I see Jon Anderson is touring,,,,,,,can someone reconnect all of them and get the 40th Anniversary Tour off the ground next summer? I need to see them one more time with Jon Anderson!

  • @badhomburg89 Grand Idea! C'mon Guys, please do it for the fans!!!

  • @badhomburg89 depends on Jon and Ricks health...it would be awesome and get your tickets early...just saw them last month with Oliver and Benoit...it was still fucking great...outside of that woman sitting in front of me who tols her husband "he is going to ruin the concert for me"...as they acted like they were sitting on their couch wacthing TV....All I was doing was singing along and praising the absolute musicianship of everyone...oh well...I AGREE..ONE MORE TIME!

  • This has to be one of the very best concerts ever recorded. Sound quality is fantastic.Photography is great. Performance is PHENOMINAL. Truly the best of YES. As close to seeing them live as possible. One totally unbelievable night. Thanks to the band for sticking with the original line-up for what was probably their finest hours. Any live performance after this would surely be a disappointment no matter the band.

  • Great Song......Remember when it came out... Saw them sing it ..live mid 70's

  • Après tant d'années, la même énergie, le même talent

    Génial !!!

  • D'accord 100% !!!

  • love it...

  • more than 30 years since Yessongs, and these dudes still play it sooo goood.

They may look old on the outside... but their music powers will only leave them when they die. Look at them singing and enyoing themselves ^_^

  • AWESOME!!!! Still fantastic after all these years - long live YES!!! This was an incredible show, I will never forget it.

  • I saw this tour in San Jose - brought my 8 year old son - he liked "Yours is no disgrace" but I love Starship Trooper

  • alan white still just doesn't hold a candle to bruford. its still good but it just doesn't have that "feel" that only bruford gave it.

  • Two best drummers in rock - Bill Bruford and John Bonham (RIP).

Different genres, but the best in my book.

  • Look at Steve at 3:45. It makes me laugh

  • You know what makes me laugh? Jon Anderson at 5:51.

  • He's making fun of Steve.

  • wow these guys just keep getting better and better

  • holy shit, these guys are old like hell and hear em singing... damn they're good

  • Im going to see yes and i think THEY ROCK!!

    Best ever version on youtube!!!

  • The two greatest bands- The Moody Blues and Yes. What a double bill that would be!

  • Neither of them in the RRHOF.

  • fan-fucking-tastic!!

  • Doesn't get any better than this.

  • Great stuff:- BUT...have you heard their version of America

  • The best classic production by YES, by very far. In the original version, Howe will take you to a heavenly ride in the last 6 minutes of starship trooper!

  • I saw them in 1999 in Lima, Peru. It was amazing!!!!

  • Is jon standing on a platform to make himself look taller?

  • i want to see Steve howe's guitar solo for this song i heard it in his jam to Dream theater in 1995 i missed the guitar solos

  • I've been obesessing over this song for a week. These guys had such a way with song construction back in the early 70's. Way ahead of their time.

  • YES, FOREVER & FOREVER.............

  • Quality

  • thats what was missin- in the present?

    jon...

  • Heard this song played back in December during their In The Present tour. Best night of my life

  • 4:25 thats the definition of MUSIC.

  • they spelled it "starship trouper!"

    oops!

  • is this based on the heinlein books?

  • shame you could'nt get it all on 1 vid great song still sends shivers along my spine

  • Steve Howe!!!!!!!

  • rick wakeman, too good to be true.

  • fantastico de YES

    una de mis favoritas

  • Classic Yes. A pleasure to watch and listen!

  • Best version I've seen

  • Wow, can't believe only 107 views. This is fantastic!
