My science teacher, he makes things fun for class. First day, used the natural gas line for dual fire jets. Basically, huge Bunsen burner. He can relate to kids, and has about the same mindset, gives the right amount of homework, fun labs, and fun projects? His class has the highest standardized test grades in the school.

tbh it's not something about the school I would change but the school system. Most state schools cave in to the pressure to conform to a centralised curriculum and teach to a syllabus, meaning pupils only learn to pass a test and don't learn for life. The curriculum should be less restrictive and exams should be about testing people's skills rather than what was learnt off by heart.
Oh and I'd also get rid of coursework in every subject except Maths and DT

i don't think i'd get rid of them completely, but everyone wearing the same thing... kinda makes you feel like clones if you think about it, cuz you always hav to wear what you're told to, and not what you want to
and then theres the fact that teachers have a choice in wearing a uniform
everyones had one of those teachers where you might hate the subjects, and you never would have handed in the homework, but because the teacher is so nice to you and everything you always do your work because you hate to see them look upset and disapointed in you.
Isn't that the best way of getting children to learn? why aren't all teachers doing this? They complain about having to yell all the time, well you don't have to.
I'd get rid of the `Curriculum for Excellence,` as it is counter-productive. The policy that `there's no such thing as a wrong answer,` is difficult in maths.
my parents really do care about my education and so do i but i don't really do my work to the best of my ability. i'm a very lazy person. and i am very worried about life after school. like i'm worried right now about going to college(uni) but i'm even more scared of life afterwards. like what i'm going to do. i have no clue what i want to be and i don't know where i'm going. hopefully i'll be able to figure that out earlier on rather than have it be too late.
