I can tell you a party not large enough and without influence right now.... it begins with an "R". Instead government is ever growing into our own personal lives. What's wrong with a balanced budget? What's wrong with promoting personal liberty?
he's like a motivational/compassionate speaker like Obama. "we need to go up". "we need change". cheezy. how about saying what you would do specifically?!? oh wait is saying the truth going to be controversial to someone somewhere? mine as well say nothing I guess. Geese Many are upset with republican's path. A huge growing generation is sick of government overspending, over-involvement in personal life, our personal liberty. Compassionate conservatives lose libertarian republican voters, WHY?!
A two party only presidential debate on TV that excludes any third party candidates, well that just demonstrates that the two parties can work together quite well don't you think?
What bullshit!the party that wins is the one that gets more press! The one that the media desides "which candidates dick do i feel like sucking this election". This is how it should be done: Information about all candidates should go out in the mail to every voter to read at their own leasure:no tv,no radio,no press. Unbias information, about the isues at hand.Let the people deside, not be brainwashed by the medias lies!!!
i share your frustration. haven't you given thought to the fact that the media is controlled by the government. and that the two party system is only a sly game of good-cop bad-cop. they all belong to the Council on Foreign Relations, a group that influences they way things are run in the US. the media, television, is the MOST IMPORTANT TOOL our government has. by dumbing us down and feeding us garbage on the news, they keep most of the American public satisfied with ignorance.
So true... i wish that the american public would just wake the hell up, instead of wasting their time with american idol and killing themselves with McDonalds junk food. We need to tell people to Open their eyes and see whats become of us.
Their's no debate in Amarica, their's no polerisation, in general their's little difference between the two parties. Money, money, money is the only force creating polerisation. Between the takers and the not offered. Take out the money and feed debate, feed the people, and embrace democracy. Then join the civelised world with, health care and a respectful and decent minimum wage. God bless America.
the parties will be less likely to be corrupt if they are being watched by more parties, not more. Also - what do you propose - keep sitting on our bum and not try anything different.
The idea that a 3rd party could come into prominence easily is ridiculous - because parties outside of the big 2 are characterized as having no potential and a waste of vote by the media. I personally think that there should be parties - let individuals run, and force the people to actually learn what they are voting for - instead of being the blind sheep that they are
exactly - If it were say a libertarian vs the Green party, and the republican and democrats weren't allowed to participate in debates and be on the ballot - then all the votes would go to the libertarian and green parties. Its insanity.

Sorry. Duverger's Law in political science says that single winner-take-all elections always result in only two parties. See my video.

A third party coming into power would mean that they would get as polarized and corrupt as the current big two, maybe worse.
