I've been trying to approach my parents about the idea of myself being a Satanist by fist introducing the idea that I could be an atheist. Even though my parents are lazy Anglicans they were really upset so I haven't pushed the issue any further. Though it was an issue in school when we were in Religion class and had to sort ourselves into groups with other people in our Religion.

Needless to say because I was in a Catholic Highschool, I ended up in the counselors office, LOL!!!

@MourningGloryTT there is no need to 'expose yourself' to the world. Unlike sheeple, we are not told to 'take one for the cause'. Remember, a Satanists task first and foremost is self-preservation (unless we CHOOSE otherwise). If revealing your beliefs will cause family / friend / school / work issues, then don't say anything. I've been a Satanist since 2007 and no one in the above categories has a clue.

Glad to see your parents was relax about your beliefs, I've heard horror stories about how parents reacted, my parents didn't mind. They would also see my books and ask questions, but never made a big deal about it. As I think back, my parents was liberate as fuck, I remember having posters of explicit porn on my walls at 13. I should call them more often, they are good people.

You're mom is pretty cool. Mine is a Christian psychopath lol. My step-dad's pretty cool about it though. I think he's recently become an atheist, he just won't tell my mom. I brought the Satanic Bible to school and nobody said anything except my atheist friends, but once they found out what it was, they were cool about it.

Lost my job, my wife lives in another city, and I have very very few friends now. BUT!!! yes, this is my big but... I have never felt more honest, or good about myself. So fuck them, I will just start a new path. LOL anyhow, yeah, well... it even kinda states in the satanic bible that we are NOT to be doing the door to door crap. if someone is a satanist, and are honest about it, they will find satanism on their own.

Yeah, I've noticed that too. I got a lot of shit for bringing the Satanic bible to school as well, but it was an experiment. I brought the holy bible, each day, for a week. Then I brought the Satanic Bible, each day, for a week. I would sit in class, and when i got bored, I would open the books and read them. People would question about each book. The holy bible lasted all week. The Satanic Bible hadn't lasted the first hour of the school day.

i can't stand jehovah witness and mormons and all that crap. i don't know what I'd do if a satanist knocked on my door. I'd probably ask why waste your time perching when your suppost to be living your life. sounds like too much work.
