Yes. Bone stock. The only thing I changed where the tires. I slapped on some used RSAs (bought and mounted for 40 bucks).

@r0k088 older ones were FWD but that was the seville, which was retired in 2005. Now, older sevilles were called the STS for SEVILLE TOURING SEDAN, but apparently the S now stands for something else? It ( the newer 2005+ models of the STS / SLS lineup ) is based on the RWD sigma platform, which also houses the current CTS and SRX cadillac models.

I tried a top speed run, but this car didn't come with high speed rated tires (v or greater?) so the governer stopped it at 120. Our CTS though... Omg. Got that up to 142!! So fast

Lol yeah it's an sts. My wife and I now own a cts, which we love, but no more burn outs because it's an awd. U can tell it's an sts because of the stacked led tail lamps without the light pipes. The sts was a comfortable and fast ride. Definately miss that car

I got the RWD because it's quicker and I'm a bigger fan of the RWD anyways. I still dont have any trouble in the snow w/ my car.

The STS has a naturally aspirated V8 Northstar. The STS-V has a supercharged V8 Northstar. And is about $20,000 more...

Hey man, what state do you live in?

I just got a RWD STS v8 and I hope I'll be able to make it to work fine with snows... I usually drive pathetically slow if it's real bad out, but even then...

Previous RWD cars I've owned and did alright in the snow with have been a 1981 Buick Century and 1984 Buick Electra (Park Avenue). The STS should be heavier than the Century but lighter than the Park Avenue.

Yeah, the CTS, STS and XLR are all RWD. You can get the STS in AWD as well. The only one that is northstar fwd is the DTS

well my moms is a 95 and mine is 97 and they are both fwd but cadillac realized they had to step up their game. so they made the rwd and awd option for the newer models.(as far as i know)

Notes for doing this on the cheap:

1.) Go to discount tire

2.) Buy & Mount used tires (i got 2 eagle RS-A tires w/ mount for 40 bucks)

3.) Store old tires in safe place

4.) Screw the environment and make lots of glorious smoke!

just go to your local junkyard or lkq (practically is a junkyard, but its a franchise) and just take the tires and rims of of the car. saves you some cash.
